Would love to see a video on the grappler.
You're not boring you're smart and I like your presentations You're very knowledgeable.
Love the wording, especially when you realise there might have been a better way of saying it. Brings out your smile and love the laughter between you two.
I LOVE the way you present your information, especially when you make mistakes, recover and press on with no worries. That is "perfect". We are all human and you do absolutely great. I learn so much about things I never thought of and it is very interesting. I would love to see you smile more :) :) :) Thanks for the videos.
The Bossman is sure one lucky guy to have such dedicated operators in the Log yard. A demo will be much appreciated. Greetings from South Africa.
Emerald, I am sure there would be plenty of interest to have you do a demo of the grapple as per what each control does and the coordination involved in running one, specs as in what pounds its rated to lift, the honda engine hp, the maximum weight the trailer is designed to carry etc. With the noise the engine makes no doubt you will have to do some voice overs to explain the operation/controls while its operating. In the future think about making a video about your Kubota tractor and its transmission type and attachments you have for it and its operation and some specs ( hp etc ) and why you chose it as the tractor of choice. The Kubota UTV also with a good rundown on its functions and ability. I sent a friend one of you're videos and he skimmed through a few others and he joked to me that the videos are brought to you by Kubota and Husqvarna since you run a few pieces each brand ( and yes the saw mill brand as well ) In all seriousness I hope those companies see some of your videos as its certainly giving them free advertising !
You are a lot of fun. We (Penelope and me) don't miss a day.
Aside from the education I get from this channel, Emerald’s personality is so enjoyable.
Your presentation and comfort level in front of the camera is improving with every video. Keep it up! Oh and I love the little funny segments you started putting in.
I'd like a how-to-operate video.
I can see the removable log arms being useful to have one area of the trailer that is less obstructed for the grapple to reach in. And if you ever bend one of the arms having it able to lift out would be a huge help to get you operational again without needing to cut the bent arm.
You Girls are precious. Your off the cuff delivery is wonderful.
Love the bloopers.. They make the video more true to life...
YOU ARE NOT GETTING BORING BABY GIRL,, your FAMILY IS AN INSPIRATION!! Strength, morals, family values, on top of business knowledge of lumber,, girllllll,, I’m lost already.🇺🇸❤️🙏🏽🌹🕊
Dear BOSS & Lumber Capital Ladies, You have got me hooked! I loved heating with wood and working with wood, do much so that if I lived nearby, I would come there and do "volunteer" work, just to help out. Though I'm a scientist, I enjoy "hands on" labor from my days at the farm. You are telling a great local American story and I love it! Kind Regards to All, Dave in Michigan
Changing intros and outros is fine. I do have a request/suggestion though, please don't let the music go beyond background volume, and, please keep them short. You gal's content is much better than any intro/outro could ever be. In the end it's your show so run it as you like. Instant thumbs up as always.
The added humor was great and the boss is always right.
I think you must know by now that 70,000 of us are not here to get a tutorial on a trailer! We are here to see and hear you, your sisters and the whole family. It is your idiosyncrasies that make the videos great and make people subscribe! They love you and hang on every word. Give a funny little intro and outro and you will be at 500k in no time. And a big smile is gold!
Short, simple and clear tutorial.
Hiya Emerald,
Thank you for the video, very enjoyable, especially the interaction between you and Jade. The grapple loader, yes, please I would enjoy an instructional video. The same for all your equipment, it helps us to understand what the operator is doing and why.
Stay safe, Steve...
Makes me think that this Canadian Metavic grapple, is the great grandfather of the Canadarm used on the shuttles - and currently on the International Space Station. A video on operating it would be good. As a Canadian, I approve of the red. :)
good old canadarm
A Simple “Good Morning” would be an excellent way to start your videos. Just my opinion, I’m going to watch either way
Great video ladies, aye on the grapple. ❤ that ending, have a great day ❤ 💕
I love your introduction! Don’t change it 😎
Don’t change a thing….love you as you are. Your family is awesome
I love the baked in bloopers! Very relatable, reflects the family nature of the business and channel.
Keeping the tires pressure up will help stabilize the machine also . Very good job on the tutorial !
youv'e found a formular thats getting you lots more subs. dont change too much, it's working.
i do here other youtubers say posting vids over ten mins does get you more adds therefore more adsense.
You're a doll. Love the content. You are starting to show your personality. Really cool
Yes on Grapple video.....thanks
Of course we want a demonstration as well as specific capabilities of reach and capacities
I really like your short videos. You've come a long way with your delivery since the beginning. Your spontaneity has improved along with your ease in front of the camera. Keep coming with the videos and we'll keep watching. BTW: You have the prettiest eyes I've see on a young lady in years.
NOTHING about you or the family is boring! I have been thinking about the grapple. It seems very strong and quite capable of doing its job. You girls are doing the job right and effortless. Enjoy your weekend and family time.
that awkward customer skit vid you did awhile back was funny af. love to see you do something like that again.
They don't approve that quality language.
I logged with a cherry picker log trailer behind a Manhindra tractor for 5years. The best investment I made hole logging aloe in the woods. Everything was separated and piled up for the log truck driver. Easter for everyone involved. My hydraulic valve bank mounted behind the seat on the tractor and I didn’t need the extra engine.
The ending is my favorite 😍
If you want to change your log trailer, look for Woody brand. they are well made, sturdy (I think the sturdier I've seen), and cheaper than Metavic. They have a model with telescopic boom. One of my neighbor has one and he's very happy with it. Thank you Emerald for your presentation.
As long as your intro is short, being the same format defines your channel.
Looks like you are learning something new everyday....Keep up the good work
I bought one last year it’s been a 15 year dream it’s fully loaded with options 16 feet long 9 feet of reach and I love it very productive very wise investment
I have a four-wheel hay bale trailer. Could I buy a grapple to put on it to convert it to a logging trailer?
Most manufacturers of grapple trailers do have an option to buy just the loader all depends how deep your pockets are unfortunately. I am in northwestern Wisconsin lots of Mennonite and Amish around here have been buying a tow behind backhoes around 2,500 maybe more now with the covid gouge and mounting that on car trailers or haywagons to move logs or bales around. Depending on the group some have removed the motor use a horse or dog treadmill or even hand Jack's like what's used on a engine hoist. They all work great.
Hey!!! You guys are having a great season!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@jakebredthauer5100 It likely would depend on the way the Trailer in question is made. Gotta remember, all that weight the grapple picks up is going to be put down into the trailer at the point the grapple is positioned at 'before' its distributed to the axels. If the point the grapple would rest at isnt sturdy enough to handle that much weight in that specific of a spot, it might not be possible to mount one to a trailer not purpose-built for it.
Not saying it WONT be able to, just something to consider :)
Best bet would be to find a local company that makes/sells them and ask if you could bring what you have up to them to have them see if they feel it would be able to have one attatched.

Thanks Jeff.
"Puts hand on greased pin"
"That's nice."
I lost it, hilarious! We've all been there.
Would like to see the grappler working
Your calmness is a good entro. Your red hair and green eyes are becoming. Good to hear about family and future plans. Keep up the good work 🥇
Thank y’all for your channel’s great content . Went out and bought an LT35 for a hobby and use some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned from your channel ❤️👍🏼🇺🇸😊🙏
Good job. Entertaining. Keep up the effort.
Nice video. Would like to see a video of you using the grapple. Y'all take care and have a blessed evening and I'll see you on your next video.
Good Job Emerald 👸👌👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love Emerald's sense of humor, she's always joking about something! She's so funny and super responsible at the same time.
your soooo funny Have a great day ladies GO 🇨🇦 go
Nice vlog. I just saw this in my recommendations and glad to have clicked. Love your personality and sense of humor.
😂 ya crack me up!! I was just going to comment that ya gotta show da funnies, bloopers more again and ya did in this one… GREAT job family…. Stay safe
You girls rock I worked in a mill for few years then transfered to the woods always liked physical work and that it all sure is
"Made In Canada" thats the best thing i have heard all day!!!!!!!!
A breath of fresh air first thing this morning. Thank you.
Of course, Canadian made equipment is great. That Bells firewood processor you use is made in Canada (and in my home province).
Isn't practically all Canadian industry in Ontario?
@@KJ6EAD it depends what industry but logging and associated production is mainly in BC and to much lesser extent in Ontario and Quebec.
@@KJ6EAD There is many manufacturers of log trailer in Quebec for small to medium scale logging business
Hi Emerald, I would love to see a video on the grappler. Great video. You said you was tired of the opening of the video. You could try this. Welcome back to lumber capital log yard let's go. this is just idea you can do anyway you want. if want to try something now I would love to see it. Have a Great Day.
Nice looking grapple trailer
Awesome job ladies. I love your openness and honesty. Your mistakes makes things much better. Keep up the great work ladies and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
When we run 4 foot 7 foot 8 foot 10 foot logs we leave all the side on the log trailer anything 12 foot to 34 foot we pull all the uprights off 1 side of the trailer replace them with ones 1 foot high safety first haul 3 longer logs a load. No reason to lift that many tons extra 4 or 5 feet in the air to get over the higher posts it's better for the equipment also. Another bonus is it will also lower insurance costs when you upscale to longer logs.
Things made in Canada are great quality and I’m speaking from experience because I was made in Canada lol
Emerald,
This was a good video explaining why you got a metavic log trailer, if you would like to do so, please go ahead and make the video running it. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video
Very cool idea to do a video on using the grapple, and agree you at a point of upgrading depending on availability..
That was good. Show the grappler and it's operations. Great video. Thank you.
Yes, let the Grapple Trailer rock!
When is the Logging Capital Log Yard calenders coming out? You have enough subject matter if you run out of people you still have places of nature to take pictures I'm still researching the name of that mountian.
Yes, please do a demo on the log loader so we can see how it operates. Keep the videos coming so we can learn how your log yard operates.
Love this channel and I have been waiting for this video because I am very interested in this grapple trailer. Please do make a video of operation the trailer. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
A well done video yet again. Thank you interesting you don't like the red color. Most reds look good in red. But I don't see that happening now. Thanks for the cheer leader poses.
I had only seen those from a distance and until your videos, didn't realize how much of a work horse they really are! I would be interested in an informative video as well. This will be a must for my future operation. Buy the best you can afford is my opinion. Good video!
Yes, please make a video using the grapple!
Yes, please.
A tutorial on how to use the grapple would be very helpful.
I just bought a tractor today, a John Deere… it came with a front brush grappler and I’m so happy it does so I can move oak logs.. now I’m 1 step closer to having my own sawmill, I got a LT25 on order :)
but other than that is your tag line. similar to you're ending. it's very adorable
i love the quality of your videos. great editing and great camera work. you are also a great spokesperson! thank you for the great videos.
I’ve really enjoyed your videos and don’t really mind your intro. That said, the outro to this video is a real gem! Love your channel; thanks for bringing us along on the journey!
That was fun video.
The removable side pipe, is good for the large logs..
Don't have to lift Them so high..
Or use shorter side pipes.
I was log truck driver, loved loading my truck .
Great job as always- like the insight of the boss man - how about doing a sit down with the “boss lady” I think that’d be interesting too
Yes,please do a video on how to use the grapple. Great video!👍🏻
Great video young lady
Good luck. 👍 Note to self... don't grab the greasy parts.
Good job explaining the trailer.I think maybe a smaller one would be nice for my fire wood.thank you for your time and work on the video.
Great informative video! I have used a track loader with a grapple to move 12 footers many times but the cost was higher, but we use the track loader for many jobs....
I see you in Hollywood some day.
Thank you for this nice video. Metavic are indeed good equipments, Canadien made in Saint-Pierre-Baptiste but I think before moving there, the manufacturer was originally founded in the small city of Victoriaville, so for their name: Metallic + Victoriaville = Metavic. These are GOOD sturdy, well designed grapple trailers. The only possible weakness is whenever you rotate a long heavy log or if a long log swings too much, there is a possibility that it would hit on of the hydraulic cylinders and/or one of their pistons' shafts which could lead to annoying damage. But once you are aware of that, just take extra care and move any large log slowly and cautiously to avoid that happening. But on the other side, the obvious advantage of having the cylinders on the down side of the boom is that you get a 10 to 15% extra strength from your hydraulic cylinders since they are always stronger on extension than on contraction, meaning you get that extra force where you need it most, that is on the log lifting movements. As for price, they still are quite fairly priced, considering the quality you get, and more so since the money exchange rate get you a 25% rebate to begin with. I just incidentally got a price on a similar, just slightly smaller machine of theirs, from one of their retailers, this very afternoon. Yours is a 1150M16, with a 16 ft boom, a 1750 average lifting capacity and a 12 ft long loading deck on the trailer that you paid roughly 17 500$ US for. The price I got this very afternoon was for a 1150M14, with the same lifting capacity but a shorter 14 ft boom and a 11 ft long loading deck. So that is just a slightly smaller setup really and the price I got today was 18 800$ CAN meaning 13 958$ US, but you could add about 1000$ for customs and freight costs to ship in Pennsylvania, so, all in all, you could get it about anywhere in northeastern US for roughly 15 000$ US.
Great video, especially the end!🤣🤣🤣
Grew up near Sweet Valley PA good to see you guys online!
Yes on the grapple operating.
A very good Friday morning to you all from Wellington Somerset in the UK
but they have good enough tractor to run hydraulics from instead of using this extra engine/pump. and if they buy bigger they skould also make sure to be able to stay in tractor instead of stand on the trailer. safer, more convinient and faster
Yes, a video on the grappler!
Your intro is fine. A video on grapple operation would defiantly be interesting.
Intro suggestion.
One of the ones I follow starts by saying that he "hopes to earn my subscription" which I think is much less pushy than telling me to like and subscribe before I've even seen the video.
Also you can't repaint it if you are making payments still cause someone else holds the title.
Removable side rails are probably so you can remove logs with a forklift if the hydraulics fail.
You made me smile.
Greetings from Ireland. I love your Channel. I would like to see a video on the grapple trailer in operation, thanks.
Very informative videos...... and yes, a video on operation would be most excellent.
It would cool to see how it operates. Thanks!
Wonderful !
Thanks for the wonderful info as well
Good to mix a little funny stuff with all the commentary, I enjoyed your presentation, funny stuff and the way it was shared was great, and cool! Alolled
And nice meeting you too
Thank you beautiful Lady 👍😘❤🌹🌹
