Coach Kolyn, firstly, I would like to congratulate for the great content, and I'm thinking abt buying the Metarise, I'm an OH/OPP, but I have wide feet, I ususally use 11 for wide shoes and 12 for "narrow" shoes. Do you think it would be best for me if I went up a whole size, or just half size is enough?

hey what is the best shoes for Opposite hitter Metarise or sky elite ff2? i am hesitating between sky elite ff2 and metarise. thank you for your opinion
Sorry if it's to late! But in terms of straight hitting the metarise hands down! But for more all round play the Sky Elite FF 2!

It's good for point guard position due to the similarity of how point guards and volleyball players move like quick lane changes, crossovers and any movement that demands aggressive footwork.

Would you say that this shoe is more for bouncy jumps or did you not feel any bounce with them?
The shoes aren't "Bouncy" per say, like the Jordan 37s are bouncy cause of the Air Units, but that because of the well Air.
The Metarises have an insane heel toe transition, so if you do an approach with the "right" technique, then the shoe will basically launch you up.
The shoes were basically made for you to full on run and jump, not really standing jumps.
So they launch you if you run, but are just a normal shoe if you like go to block.

You have to buy them resale, so ebay or another trusted source, cause Asics doesn't sell them in the USA anymore

which one would you recommend to a mid blocker?
MB need a shoe that has a lot of cushion, stability... not necessarily Jumping power or insane bounce, so I recommend Sky Elite FF 1/2 or a budget option Dame 8s!
