Whitebeard is the only case of someone saying "Go on ahead. I'll buy you some time" and I actually believed that the people getting away would've been given a sufficient amount of time to get away. Of course, Ace made sure that didn't happen, but Whitebeard definitely tried.
One of my favorites that made Sanji my favorite is when he destroyed Kurobi. That combo was amazing they even repeated the final kick not 3 bit 4 times from different angles that's how epic it was

I have to disagree with the last line on this countdown. Luffy beating Lucci didn't leave us speechless, we jumped out of seats and screamed in triumph like we were the ones fighting.
Shirohige kicking Akainu's ass is probably one of the most satisfying scenes I've ever watched. That final Quake Punch against Akainu made me shout "HELL YEAH!"
@@cristianflores8913well if it's not disappointing for you that means you watch anime just from it's base...where i watch anime in depth, that awaking part is disappointing for me cuz it ruined the whole purpose of luffy being a casual protagonist with no special perks what so ever...a guy with a decent power level with rubber fruit ...where luffy continues to grow further and further and do creative stuff with rubber abilities like gears and his haki combo...he was THE PERFECT PROTAGONIST with no special perks, a guy who continues to grow with his seer will power...untill that sstty plot where writer oda literally made him a SPECIAL KID WITH GOD LIKE POWERS ...it ruined the luffy as a character...i swear luffy had the so much potential to be the perfect protagonist of all time...that plot armour of MYTHICAL NIKA NIKA FRUIT was disappointing dude ... luffy doesn't needed that to be powerful, he was the best with his rubber like normal powers ...
when writer things that character need more special perks in order to win fight ... that's simply LAZY WRITING... anyone can do that, give the protagonist a plot armour of some kind .. but why luffy was different it's because he was using the bare minimal power like rubber to be the pirate king with his will... that's the part that makes him special...but out of nowhere ODA thought that it's a good idea to give him god like and specialized powers ...and that was the point where ODA loss fans like me for ruining the 23 years well balanced rubber boy character with will power...

one moment i feel they missed here was Luffy's speech to Sanji after they had their duel in the Whole Cake Island arc, that speech was so incredibly moving.

I always enjoy these lists/vids. I'm even more excited to see things like this after Wano is over. I'm sure there has to be a few in there that will be awesome. Off the top of my head: Arlong Park, Water 7 going to fight franky ganng, Enis lobby (all on the rooftop scene Right after bruno)
Great number one pick. I always felt that Lucci was a bit stronger than Luffy in this fight, but through sheer guts and determination the strawhat captain took it. One of the best fights of the series I reckon.

Aside whitebeard being sick and mortally wounded during his fight with akainu, we all know the strongest man had to be killed off cause of Aces dream to make whitebeard the King of pirates clashes with Luffys dream.
When I saw Whitebeard ragging was only 2nd in the list, I genuinely thought what the hell have I forgotten that can top that. Then saw 1st place and understood who made the list doesn't know what he's talking about. Not that my argument need to be more solid, but just to add, Luffy giving that very emotional punch to that celestial dragon wasn't even on the list.
Luffy has always had a soft spot for robin. You can always see how he speaks and interacts with robin he is way gentler than the rest of the crew. Akainu survived cuz of plot cuz we allll kno. That white beard punch shldve split him into or he shld be a lava puddle.
