Today I'm taking a look at the upcoming Jordan 1 x Union x Bephies Beauty Supply. These are definitely one of the wildest sneakers we've seen in a while & considering it's a Jordan 1 just makes it all the more interesting. The Jordan 1 Union Woven is an iteration taking inspiration from the Nike Footscape sneaker that has a woven stitch design around the entire shoe. This triple collaboration is a very meaningful one to the designers Chris Gibbs & his wife Beth Birkett. Chris & Beth both co own Union, while Beth owns her own brand Bephies Beauty Supply, they brought all of this together to create a sneaker centred around the year the both met, the summer of 96.
The 2023 Jordan 1 Union is a wild sneaker so theres a lot to get into so be sure to catch the full review & let me know your thoughts on these down in the comments!

Reading some of these comments it clear a lot of folks don’t have imagination. This shoe is stylish and you can make many outfits especially for the fall season. They took a chance on this design and it works. They others were fine but very basic to me. This shoe forces folks to think outside of the hype. Buy what you want and give something new a try ❤

Can’t go wrong with a neutral colored shoe, they are definitely heat
They are FIRE ¡¡ and the materials are one of the greatest leathers I've seen in a sneaker.
History, materials, design.... 100% a COP for me.

These shoes are fire. Definitely a statement shoe if you want to turn heads. I think people will be wanting these years from now because if it’s versatility

The basket weave stitching is pretty nice
Wovens do not unravel. I’ve had pairs made for the winter. Worn in rain and snow and still in tact.
Gotta say. The color on these is quite nice. The whole woven look I’m still on the fence about. Definitely a wearable shoe though, I may try for a pair based on your review!

The nicest thing about these shoes is literally the box they come in. I thought maybe a different color woild make these better but, that probably wouldn't be enough. If you want these shoes, I hope you cop. It shouldn't be hard to get, however I think retail is steep for what you are getting. It might be best to cop in the resell market when they go under retail.
They’re never going under retail. Union hype and stock will prevent that.

Based on the og neutral grey, imagine this shoe without the Frankenstein stitches and less of the vintage yellowed midsole, but with the nice union details and materials, vintaged neutral grey the Union way....... could've been another grail

the one nice thing i'll say about the frankenstein stitching is that it is distinctive as hell. you will be able to recognize these easily. that being said, would never rock these.

I am considering buying these cause I love the design despite how much people seem to hate on it. I know this is a hot take but these seem like the off-white white AJ1s but I like them more.
Maybe if different color laces were in the shoe, like something with more of a contrast than white. It would change the profile a bit and the shoe wouldn't look as long.

i have wanted these since the first time i saw them. im not crazy how the shoe box i n the front but im to curious not to get a pair. i thought about waiting to see if i could get them for less then retail..its hard to say i feel they may sell out and price go sky high or they wont really sell and i might find them at a nike store in a year of so for 120 or less...idk if i want to take the chance
They will def sell out, resellers still out there botting pairs so they’ll probably still be hard to get
They will definitely sell out. Might not be a $1000 sneaker but they won’t be easy cop. Right now my size around $450 and that’s bananas for these. I’d have even gone up to $250, i think they are wacky and I’ll rock ‘em just for that. But not for $500 after taxes and fees.

They ok for the retail price or slightly above I wouldn't pay more then 350 for them and would probably wear 2 or 3x.❤

if I can give you an opinion on this very original pair that I have just received. I would say it's a real big cinder block on your feet and it makes you hot in the summer😋. It doesn't bother me because I wore a lot of this kind of big sneakers in the 90s. Otherwise, like all Crazy (or Kobe in the same genre) it is well padded so serves the feet but should crush or not 😋 in time. The zipped part (accessory) does not serve the top of the foot either. I took a 44 (10US/9UK) which is my usual size at Nike, Jordan, NB and Adidas. Above would have been a mistake. To see for slightly wide feet. Pay attention perhaps to the material of the end of the pair which can give this impression of touching the end of the sneaker. I find it comfortable having worn it all afternoon. That may have helped you in the choice to acquire it.😉 And sorry maybe for my approximate English 😋

that stiching worries me that it will be the first thing that splits when you walk around enough in the shoe. Also that toe box is horrible. looks like my toes will be cold in this straw shoe.

I like these better then the first union 1s!! The story and design actually took some thought, the other pair is just mismatched OG pairs, but everyone loves them cuz their cut like the OG 1985 1's

Now that I really got the chance to look at them from multiple angles, and styled in a way, these aren’t bad. They are god awful, I would say it wouldn’t be a bad collection piece just not something to rock imo
