- Modular rifles are popular in Europe, and they make good sense economically. If you find a rifle that fits you, works great, and is accurate, being able to change the calibre of it in minutes (back and forth) is a real plus.
This is the latest version of this perennial favourite Austrian firearm. We really like the look and feel, but we really like how light and compact it is. The balance and pointability are really exceptional.
Steyr's are difficult to find in Canada, and they aren't cheap. This one retailed at $2250.
From a European perspective, the idea is even that you can change caliber while in the field. Hunting is often a very organized event, often via driven hunts. But a day can take you through several situations, everything from roe deer to red stag, and later in the evening there might be opportunity for fox and crows. However the name of this company is Mannlicher, and it is not pronounced in a way that indicate perverted activities.

Does Style still make this rifle? I tried to find it on their website but was unsuccessful, great video.
Do you have steyr's bolt action rifle? I found some errors in Steyr scout rifle model from 'World of guns'. First is the bolt locking safety system, the other the bolt mechanism assembly.
