Hey guys! I really appreciated the feedback on my last video. So here's more of that! My next video should be up Wednesday and we're breaking down FNATIC's legendary comeback against LOUD. So stay tuned!
@@fewsnow i don't think it is rude, it seems most of us have seen sovereign guides first , he isn't mindlessly copying his style , i've seen a couple of channels do this style after sovereign and even tho u can notice some differences they are still quality videos so i wanna see more , fnatic's comeback would be great to see in more detail, i wanna learn ab anything i've missed :D
great video, definitely really odd that neither vanity nor their coach could come up with a solution here. I'm assuming they simply had zero experience facing a Harbor as seemingly no NA teams played him, but even then that's no excuse
@@uscninja4190not expecting is a good reason, but they can still… you know, “adapt” like how the dude in the video mentioned almost every minutes of the video
@@uscninja4190 it's a bad agent in most scenarios since u need another controller to play with him but he's really gud when you have gud teamwork (pro play) especially since he's a specialist. also his ult is strong if you play around it really well. it's not meant to actually make sure the enemies are stunned like breach's ult, it's for info and annoying the enemy team. the reason why most people don't play him in comp is that most of the time, you're not five-stacking, and even if u do, most of the time, you don't have the insane teamwork pros do
love the new case study -esque style you're going with. Especially love how even though the focus is C9's failure to adapt, you still mention and point out the conditioning DRX were doing at B main while not getting side-railed from the focus of the vid. Awesome vid man
Harbour is great under the right conditions, which is also why he is generally low tier since he needs certain considitons to truly be powerful. Unlike the S tier agents like Jett and KJ who can do a lot on their own
the only thing to make harbor fucking goated is to buff his cove a tiiiinnnny bit so that it lasts just long enough to cover a full plant and safe retreat the rest of his abilities are fucking incredible, having a horizontal wall you can launch safely, having a 30s cool down adaptive wall, and an ult that literally gives info on positions and also causes repositioning is just an insane combo its literally just the cove thats slightly underwhelming bc even if there's just 1 person spamming it with ak, it breaks before you can get a safe plant/retreat off
@Charizard24682 His only weakness (and hence the smallest pick rate among controllers) is that he is very dependent on the team. While Omen and Viper are fairly self-sufficient agents, and Brim and Astra can combo with only one of their teammates, Harbor relies entirely on the coordinated and fearless actions of the team. The team doesn't run behind your wall - you're useless. The team does not cover you during the plant (or does not use a shield for the plant) - you are useless. Doesn't go to the site and doesn't look for a kill during the ult - you're useless. So I understand why he has such a small pick rate, and Reyna has the largest. It’s good to play it at ranks above Ascendant without pain in the ass, but if u are Plat or below... its nearly impossible to be useful
You are really good in explaining what actually the plays these pros are doing. Hopefully you can have your own review as well regarding game 5 Finals of FNC vs LOUD.
As a bronze player, this video is impressive. The analysis is so deep and I would not be able to understand why any of these things were happening without these kinds of videos. Thanks for making me understand how much difference a little teamplay can make
I love playing Harbor. He functions similar to Overwatch tank heroes, which I peaked plat playing, so it's great to have a similar sort of safeguard agent with moving walls that make it easy to clear angles, an insanely useful ult, and his cove being super underrated.
I would say the bigger mistake on round 3 was viper's positioning. Yay goes around the back to prevent a rotate, forcing rb to plant on A, which is completely fine. Knowing this, vanity and leaf should just play together, and just swing together with yay flanking when they hear the tap. But for some reason leaf just runs mid, and takes way too long to get back to vanity even after the bomb is planted. Then yay swings too early.
This was an awesome video - not enough content creators detailing how to creatively use agents in a tactical way and also give the corresponding counters to it. Great stuff!
I don't even play valorant that much, but this gave me serious ReaperEN vibes from Siege, and that was some of my favorite content around. Great video and I'd love to see more!
Yeah I have realized even though I'm not a pro player a lot of people refuse to believe harbor is useful but he is seriously op when you realize nobody knows how to play against him.
he's not op at even remotely decent elo, his shield lasts waaaaay too little to be considered useful, they either gotta buff the health slightly so you can get a plant+safe retreat before 1-2 ppl can spam it down, or they need to make the shield portion go away but the actual water smoke stay until it expires like other smokes/walls
Harbor is great. First agent I unlocked after recently playing for the first time two-three months ago, so much util and map control. And his ult is great for much more than concussions, the circle below the feet is visible through walls and it is also very loud
thats what ppl don't understand about harbor when they call him a dogshit hero his ult literally only spawns below the feet and is so fucking loud, you use it on a site and it essentially just gives you wallhacks on the positions of ppl, you can hold the retreat for a free frag or prefire the corner if they didnt move and got stunned
8:22 they dont hear the crowd btw, they have to use on ear headphones that make white noise ontop of the earbuds that give their game sounds and voice comms. and they dont hear the keyboard clicking either.. noise suppression.. but yeah
Lmao none of that matters bro especially when LOUD is playing. The whole stadium vs some white noise isnt gonna do anything. Plus you can feel the vibrations from the shouts in the arena.

@@pub2592 Don't agree with that. You give them space on maze with c9 wall. There is a better way to wall 410 then the default one which gives less space on 410.
@@TeetsTV Maybe I'm too harsh, but that multiple attempts by DRX planting at the same spot over and over again without any clear counter from C9 is just unbelievable. Maybe karma has got'em real good

yeah thats why i love playing that fucker. i hate when people think hes a 'true' controller. his walls and cascades are absolutely fucking awful for site control, theyre just literally PERFECT for quick map control and isolating angles to get better positioning he's like a position 4 role in dota, not hard support but like an adaptive 'roamer' kinda thing
This is the first time ive heard that Harbor is a low tier agent I finally got him a few days ago but i found his abilities are very good for pushing or retaking a site, especially his ult where it forces enemies out of a site

C9 have trolled harder with this yay vanity situation than i thought possible. Even if you're having a tough time financially, i feel like the move is to keep them and then get 3 up and comers to have the veterans train up
