@@loganshate Sorry if that is incorrect, I read he had throat issues (and who wouldn't with that awesomely growl) and that was the reason for some missed tour dates.
Of course he has hearling loss... he's playing in the loudest fuckin Rock band in history... well, the Who and Moterhead aside... but AC/DC brings fucking cannons to the show! Fuck yea!
Funny trivia... when they played Greensboro, NC in 85 or 86 (sorry, I was stoned and rocking my ass off... don't remember much of those years, LOL!). At the end of "For Those About to Rock" they fired off the cannons... the percussion was so loud it knocked half a dozen ceiling tiles out of the coliseum! Man, that was the shit! Funniest part, as the tiles flipped and floated into the crowd below, it looked like they were dropped into a kitchen Ninja! Shredded on impact! People 50ft away got a souvenir! Man, what an awesome show! Yngwie was the opener and I swear it made Angus play even better!
      "Hail-hail to the good times
'Cause rock has got the right of way
We ain't no legend, ain't no cause
      We're just living for today!"
RIP Malcolm & Bon... thanks for being part of my life!

First saw them in '77, about 700 people there, tickets were $7.50. They opened for Ronnie Montrose, my buddy loved Montrose. I asked who the opening band was and he said, i don't know, some band from Australia. They came out, played, and when they finished i looked at my friend and said what the fuck was that. Totally blew me away. and blew Montrose off the stage. Never saw anything like them before and have been hooked ever since. 6 months later saw them again with Van Halen, Areosmith, Ted Nuggent, and a couple others at day on the green in Oakland Ca. Best RnR band ever. 50 yrs from now, some kid somewhere will be sitting in their garage trying to learn Whole Lotta Rosie, you cant ask for a better legacy then that.

This documentary made me emotional about some wrenching moments in the history of the band. I shed tears about Bon for the first time in my life. And that sentence by Malcolm: " You just can't explain death, it gets you numb".....something to think over and maybe dedicate a song about.

I saw AkkaDakka at the old Bondi Lifesaver , a wonderfully seedy dive in the 70s , Bon was the great frontman , and Angus was the showman that sold it all , but Malcolm was the man , the glue , the anchor ... the bass player could have gone home and you wouldn't have noticed . Big Wrist Malky was the heart and soul of the band , magically minimal , the best grunt rock sound and absolutely immaculate timing . Vale Malcolm Young . Best . Rhythm Guitarist . Ever .

I am now55 and cant believe how fast time has vanished , , ,
I remember the 70's n 80's very well - they were the BEST times of my life and AC/DC was an well ingrained part of our youth and countless parties,,,,,,,
Was lucky enough to see Back in Black - Sudbury Ontario early 80's.
Prob the best concert EVER ,,,, it was definitely epic, , , did i mention that LSD was pretty rampant back then ,,,hhmmm
AC/DC is def one of the best party / rock n roll music of all time
and it still is to this day .....

I have never disliked the band... Always liked them in fact.
I think no body really ever did since they were somehow sympathetic in some odd way...
But now: I have a better developed respect to the beautiful people behind their music and feel honestly rude for not having known this so much before...
I think it would be correct to say that you have done the band and the memory of a very special little guy I personally much "correcter" respect; justice
Thank you very much for sharing these with us.

Real luck to be living in these juicy times when AC/DC were creating their masterpieces and what's cool - you may rather easily play and sing their music aloud due to this IS the perfection for all times

i want to thank youtube for allowing this amazing multi video documentary. it opened up all i was totally needing to hear and know. it put simply, is outstanding. myself as viewer and fans rarely are given the opportunity into the lives of famous people. and its great that ac dc allowed access to such great knowledge. it helps people like myself come to understand the importance about the unknown and open up the realities of exactly how difficult these bands lives can really be. and show me yeah these dudes are simply everyday people when you dig down deep. it sure makes me appreciate their hard effort. most people see them as the trees and not the forest through those trees. like marilyn manson sang. who is another disguised person i say holds great intelligence. even though his approach and appearance appears different he is a very sophisticated individual. if you get a chance to listen to him you might see the forest through those trees. as long as people stay honest within their giving viewers the truth. and not just make up some fake version of fake bs. these are the things that i hold interest in. just like peter fonda. another one who chose to keep his life in a fenced in area. yeah he did do a few in public events. but it would be nice to watch a multiple part video of his life and journeys he went through with all his ups and downs. as of now fonda is more mystery than knowledge to myself. hopefully someone can open his sealed life and just allow someone to explain in documentary his rigors and rewards in life. thanks for all the effort putting together a hell of a lot of research, interviews and information and format it into one great story. it was to say the very least. excellent! i'm totally impressed. information like this gives an understanding to many that i'd bet didn't even know hardly anything. then some that have followed them all along the way. possibly some unknown.

There's the Ballbreaker time missing in this good documentary, how comes?
It goes from Moscow Monsters of Rock, Live 91 until Stiff upper lip in 2000...

Even today, I still think of Bon as the singer.......I remember the stop press on the front page of the local paper announcing his death......still can't believe it now. R.I.P. Bon and Malcolm.
