i'm surprised more don't annotate their uploads. it's extremely effective. thank you!
You should make videos explaining your off meta comps and why they work, that would be awesome!
It’s great to see nova doing well at a competitive setting
I'm a simple woman, I see Pika annotated play and I watch immediately 😁
I really like the comp y’all have going on. It’s really unique!
Pika the champion for sensor/angle shooter showing off the subs yet again
Nova gaming!
loved the commentary, its awesome to get insight into your thought process as you play!
Nice! Was wondering about the nova gaming in the scrims, and the post commentary annotations are great!
I have some questions for this comp, though. I know Lily usually plays support and paint control with their nsplash when you and Crim were playing aggro weps; what's Lily's role in this comp? Are they still support, just more aggressive? Is it just to add more paint for Raze the blaster?
I'd love to know; keep up the great stuff! (And amazing job at LTC :D)
We're still figuring things out honestly lol, between Shiny going on a hiatus for now and us wanting to try a new comp style we're essentially restructuring everything and since I'm the shotcaller we're trying me on the main support/anchor role. Lily will ideally end up playing a bit more aggressively than they used to with time, just also with a decent amount of paint still to support whatever weapons Crim and Raze decide to play as the main slayers - So essentially your guess is correct! We're definitely in the experimental stages with what weapons everyone is on though just to feel what we do and don't like within these new roles though.
Also thanks!
Very interesting insight, thank you for the response!
Y’all should be in the top 500 for such hard work you guys are doing
hehe, that hubris!!
awesome commentary! keep em comin! imma subscribe
good video nice work
Been using nova a bit recently and im still just unsure as to what they intend for you to do with this thing.
Im excited for annaki nova though, as its the first shooter with ink jet so far. And with mines you can watch/trap your own jet marker, leading to some potentially cheesy kills.
this actually didnt come to my mind at all when i saw the kit lol placing mines at your landing point is gonna be really cool
@@kirby260b3 its even better when you consider the damage from the mine. 35 + 24 + 24 + 24 is 107. Meaning it turns your dinky 5 shot trash gun to a slightly more threating 3 shot.
Also use Sub power up. One main increases the blast by a lot, guaranteeing damage + marking.
Do you think the Nova with mine and inkjet will be good?
I think so! Inkmine chip damage will help make kills much easier given nova's low base damage, and as a good painting weapon it'll be able to charge plenty of inkjets which is great with how strong it is currently

I'm pretty curious on the chocie of using OS on the Nova.
Does the Nova have higher object damage value or is it more to boost the killer wail dmg vs objects?
OS is mostly for killer wails, they're already pretty decent at bullying around crab tanks and having them threaten to completely shred them more quickly just adds to that. Nova's main weapon object damage is also pretty awful so having OS helps with consistency there too
1:16 - have I just never noticed this, does the tower move slower when travelling through enemy ink when your team is on it?
ive never heard of this before, i think they meant more along the lines of ‘ride tower to get it through mid quicker, instead of letting it reset on its own’ and then painting at the same time so ur not sitting on tower doing nothing
Ghostfly's response is right, sorry for the confusion! When your team has control of the tower is will move back to neutral more quickly than it would on its own, so standing on it while we still need to retake our side of the map is just a minor time optimization
@@pikadave465 That's no problem, it's just with so many hidden mechanics (such as special charge when on tower... or is that while it's your colour...) I would have believed just finding out about another one xD
no opening gamba? :(
Gambit nova is definitely funny, I would be running it if I wasn't essentially playing an anchor role for the team. I want to start games pretty passively painting but gambit requires me to fish for kills/assists super early on to be worthwhile
*ink is ink
