I've had mine for 5 months now...repainted it...new bucking,barrel and spring...shooting 499 with .20....right around 390-400 with .32 and now I'm at 370 with .40...... Gun has not done me wrong yet....got a ton of kills with it....from 200-250 feet it's money. I have hit targets in the 280-300 ft range but not quite as consistent. All in all it's a great affordable airsoft sniper I would definitely recommend
From what I've read online, the m40a3 bucking is an upside down vsr-10 bucking; no others will fit into it because the hop up chamber is too short. I've also read that most inner barrels won't fit into the hop up unit because it is proprietary. People online are also saying a regular vsr-10 spring and piston are too small for the cylinder. I was hoping that since you've upgraded your gun, you'd have a parts list; no one else can seem to present one =/

Out of the box, mine was shooting 430s fps consistantly with .2 bb's. and with a little internal work to eliminate any minor air leaks( mostly a new slightly bigger O ring ) its now shooting 460s. It will shoot .36 with no problems what so ever and I was getting 200ft shots in with very little effort. admitedly the body is probabvly a little bit on the fragile side being made of a cheaper polymer but the rest of the construction seems sound enough.I would of preferred a 90 degree trigger as opposed to the 45 fitted but I'm more than happy with its current fps and am unlikely to fit a biggerspring so it shouldn't prove a reliability issue for some time. Without doubt the best bang for your buck out there,
Don't know about in the UK, but in the Colonies, that is made by Double Eagle/ Matrix (Commie China), and they also label the EXACT SAME rifle the M62. Best BB for it is the .30. Several other "brands" also get it private labeled, which amounts to only a different name on the box as there is absolutely no brand name on the gun itself no matter who is selling it.
I recently ordered and received this rifle, convinced I should buy it specifically because of this review. (Great job! The info is really superbly presented.) My use case for this rifle will strictly involve indoor target shooting.and it is fantastic. I just got back from my garage to sight in my scope, only 20ft to the target, getting a feel for the rifle. Quarter-sized groupings from a free-standing position. Awesome.
i just got this beauty, but i got a question when i shooting the bb not travelling that straight, may my scoop is to weak for this gun? Or what attachments shell i get 4 it to upgrade ?
What are the best weight bbs to use for this? Using .3 and cant have hop up set to more than a few clicks and the wind carries them left and right. Thinking .36 or .4 whats better for this gun?

the sling points do not hold the gun together as the screws are only 5mm in length..
Honestly I dont have enough money for airsoft gear but this all I would have to do is do a bit of work, now a few yards and I'll be there for myself.

i use .36 and they are probably the best for range but if you dont care ab range use .40

Not sniper accuret or long range, but you can sneak up to your opponents to perform perfect silent kills. Any bolt action gun have a quieter reload.

UK is limited to 1 joule anything more you need a licence.

Sniper rifles have some additional joules to them, using them in close quarters is absolutely forbidden though.
