Percussive drum setting makes me feel like flying over the clouds towards the sunrise sun! Im really thinking to get one of these. Incredible echo pedal!
Endless Caravan I’ve owned every delay except an original EP3 and this binson. This is my favorite delay so far. Of all the strymon pedals. This is my fav as well. Another delay that gets overlooked is the ibanez echo shifter. Just don’t turn on the oscillator or the modulation and it is great as well as super cheap.
@@badkatrising3918 I am a delay nerd and love tape echos most. During the past 8 years I have owned over 30 delay pedals, rack unites & nothing has convinced me 100% as much the fulltone tube tape echo & strymon volante! although I dont own any of them. Saving in progress :) Totally agree about the Ibanez shift echo, it is the most underrated budget analog delay. I find that the korg SDD-3000 is overlooked as well, sounds very musical and amazing in stereo.
Worn out drum is the only setting out of those that could possibly be used in a live gig situation albeit with adjustments, the rest might be ok for making dopey noises at home but the idea for live guitarists is to earn money.

Oh so helpful! Please do another 7. These were fantastic. Great ear! Ps. Hold the shot steady for at least 1 second so this old man can copy. Thanks😇
Impressive pedal. I guess we can call this the "Über-Capistan" :)
Brother do a demo of how you use this in conjunction with the echosystem.
Great video!! The wobbling drum preset, is there any reverb added in the mix or is that purely the Volante? Sounds so sweet!
wow!
Wondering if this has a preamp like in the old binson echorec?
No really, no. It does have a low cut that effects only the repeats and the record level can create distortion, but again, on repeats only
such a big difference in tone before and after engaging the pedal. disappoointed.
On the part you are talking about, he had it set on Drum. That's what drum echoes sound like.
@@kooper3211 i was referring to the original signal, not the echod sig
I have mine in parallel so it doesn't matter.
@@sky-magnet right. I think that is the way to go.
