I honestly had no idea how beautiful Poland is. First Gdansk in winter and now Wroclaw in summer. Just beautiful 💛
Well now you are finding out from the other side of the world :)

Yes, Poland has much more to offer, not only places know by tourists.
those are 2 german cities tbf.
Keep this place a secret please. My wife is polish and I friggin love Wrocław and Poznan. Amazing amazing cities and don’t even get me started on the food . Love from U.K. for Poland
haha Im sure my little channel wont spread the word too far and wide
Don’t you worry. It’s well kept secret on internet. 😊
Do not forget that Poland is a very safe country. Therefore, you can really find local people and they will show you and tell you a lot of interesting things. I don't think you can trust the locals anywhere else😅
Oh yes I appreciate its very safe
Übertreibe nicht, " born to be alone" , nomen omen? Karma kehrt zurück, sagt man!
True. We all in Poland appreciate foreigners and look for some interaction.
Just came back from Wroclaw a day ago, It's an amazing city, im never gonna forget it 💪
Yes it's beautiful right
I'm from Kraków and I can say that your praise of Wrocław is well deserved, it is bautiful city with great atmosphere! I always enjoy my visits there.
I am really glad that I have not received hate from that comment yet 😁
Greetings to Krakow! I'm from Wroclaw but I love Krakow, the brother city. I always feel there like home :-)
ua-cam.com/video/133K_DgBg4Q/v-deo.html
The procession you saw was the Rath Yatra celebration in Wrocław. Poland has a quickly growing Hindu population. The festival is celebrated in Poland since 2009 and Wrocław was the first city in Poland where the festival was held.
Wow, the colours of those buildings and the layouts of them, just stunning 😍.
That's why I was almost speechless when I walked into the main market square
@@CharlieandRob neither of us are particularly religious, but you have to go inside these churches/cathedrals. If you are wowed by the outsides, the insides are just as spectacular 🤗
@@leandabee I did go in a few. You will see in tomorrow's Rob Reacts video. But once you have been in one or two, you have seen them all
@@CharlieandRob look forward to it. I love old architecture 🤗
I strongly recommend visiting Ostrów Tumski (it is really close to main square). In late evenings, when its almost night and there aren't that many peaople, this place has very unique and beautiful atmosphere.
People has no idea how many beautiful places Poland has. People often visit the same places known for they beauty but is lot, lot more not many people know about it.
What a beautiful place, I cannot wait to see more 😊 Great people you met too 🎉❤🥰
Yea great place and great people! I highly recommend Wrocław
Subscribed only because Wroclaw is my hometown but I moved to UK over 12 years ago and lived here since...I love Wroclaw of course and try to visit at least once a year. I am glad you like it. The claim about Wroclaw being more beautiful than Krakow is a bold one indeed and I blushed with pride when you said that :) As a Wroclawianka myself I am super excited that anyone could say that as Krakow is very highly regarded by all Poles.
haha I say it as I think it :)
Cudowne miasto
Hi Rob! Nice to see you happy in Poland. Enjoy the fantastic experiences with Polish architecture. For sure that will be memorable for you.
Yep, a very memorable trip. There are 4 more vlogs to come too!
At 1:20 when you passed by the church while looking for something to eat you had "Bar Witek" on your right hand side, delicious toasts and 'zapiekanki', one of the best in the city. Have a great time in Wrocław!
It was funny how you reacted to the washing machine in the bathroom. In Poland, we keep the washing machine in the bathroom, whereas in the UK, it's kept in the kitchen. In the UK, there are no power sockets in the bathrooms, but in Poland, there are. :D
Washing machine in bathroom weird! Not as weird as having it in your kitchen!
Haha I thought an Aussie would make that comment as soon as I mentioned it 🤣
Well not that strange if you do not have specific laundry room
@@CharlieandRob Every Polish would say the same :)
Washmashine in kitchen lol 😂 all that laundry smell ith food ? Bad idea
@@shivo4328 You could say that the laundry would smell like poo and wee in the bathroom! ;)
Visiting Poland is like:
A1 - Warszawa, Kraków
A2 - Gdańsk, Wrocław
B1 - Łódź, Toruń, Poznań, Lublin, Zakopane, Katowice, Białystok
B2 - Malbork, Zamość, Kazimierz Dolny, Gdynia, Przemyśl, Bydgoszcz
C1 - Tarnowskie Góry (silver mine), Książ (castle), Wieliczka (salt mine), Cieszyn, Sandomierz, Warmia i Mazury (lakes region) e.g. Lidzbark Warmiński
C2 - Szczebrzeszyn, Wiślica, Łańcut, Brzeg, Lębork, Moszna (castle), Pszczyna (castle), Krzyżtopór (castle), Pieskowa Skała (castle), Morskie Oko (Tatra lake), Duszniki Zdrój, Bystrzyca Kłodzka, Nysa, Rogalin (palace), Święty Krzyż (mountain), Góra Świętej Anny (mountain), Hel, Błedów (desert), Tyniec, Jędrzejów, Zalipie...
So, what's your level?
No Tarnów and Rzeszów?! 😉
Wrocław, I love it. It's my home town. Greetings from Down Under.
"It's weird having a washing machine in your bathroom" says the bloke with a washing machine in his kitchen 😂😂🤣🤣
Haha yep! Kitchen is bigger so it is easier to have space to put on an airer
In Poland the bathrooms a lot bigger than UK so we usually have space to have washers in the bathroom or some people will have laundry rooms but we will never put it in the kitchen! 😂
When it comes to 6:45, I'd say like 95-ish percent of Polish people have their washing machine in the bathroom. It makes sense if you think about it - they take off their clothes in the bathroom before they go to sleep or to take a shower, put them in the dirty laundry bin, then just take the laundry and put it in the washing machine whenever needed. If anything breaks in the washing machine, bathrooms usually have really good hydro-isolation so the chance of any damage to the flooring and other parts of the building due to flooding is minimal. In 2 out of 3 houses I lived in in the UK we had our washing machines put in the kitchen, on a carpet, which was installed on a wooden floor. The flooding wouldn't end very well, I'll tell you that much 🤣My friend's house which she was renting literally collapsed due to that. She had to live in a swamp for a week and after that she basically got homeless - the landlord kicked her out 'cause the house had to be demolished. It was quite a new house, like 20-30 years old.
The historical coat of arms of Silesia is the coat of arms of the Lower Silesian Piasts ( Polish Dynasty ) - the coat of arms of the Piast dynasty, ruling the principalities of Lower Silesia. It was a shield with a golden field with a black eagle with a silver crescent band running through the eagle's wings and breast, which was crowned with a cross. Wrocław historically belonged to the Czech Republic for about 500 years, to Poland for about 400 years and to Germany for about 200 years.
About 2 weeks ago , I came back to my hometown from Wrocław (I'm studying here). It's so strange to see you here. I mean, it's a good feeling, but it’s just that I've recently been in Wrocław walking the same streets as you. And you are from England, and this makes my little head explode, haha. I guess I'm just happy that you've visited Poland.
So, as I said, I'm so happy you liked Wrocław and had a good time here. I can't wait to watch your other videos ❤️
Haha yea what a beautiful city! I always think like that. Like when I watch videos about a city and then go there
Welcome to Wrocław ❤Polish people only put wash machine in Kichen if the bathroom is to small ! Actually most country I visited wash machine is in bathroom r have seperate room as laundry room ! I Like Wrocław but my favourite is Gdańsk Poznan and Torun
Cześć, jestem z Wrocławia, powinieneś zwiedzić Ostrów Tumski, pozdrawiam
I lived 40-ish kilometers south of Wrocław for almost 30 years before moving to Poznań last year. Nothing but pleasant memories.
Kocham to miasto ❤
Hey, Rob, I'm glad you enjoy Wrocław. I live here myself since 2018 and I was as mesmerised as you when I first arrived for my exams. Have a nice day!
It really did put joy into my day!
Greetings from Wrocław, my hometown :) You should see city market during winter, when the christmas town comes. Just like in a Santa Claus town. Wroclaw ZOO is also amazing. Have a nice trip.
Great vlog Rob! I had never seen or heard of this place til your trip. It's visually so beautiful. Nice drone shots earlier too🙂
And yes always good to have the guidance of locals when travelling.
Well I hadn't heard of it, let alone pronounce it a few months ago. But truly wonderful place
Wrocław, Kraków, and Gdańsk - definitely the top three ❤❤❤
Poznań better than Wrocław 😂😂😂

It was a pretty sunny long weekend. It's now 30c there while I'm back home in the wet! 🤣
Nice endorsment for my city! I can clearly see that you enjoyed your weekend here!
More videos to come. Loved it!
Probably the most english comment is "having a washing machine in the bathroom is weird". Yeah right but having it in the kitchen where you cook all sorts of dishes and meat, where you eat and where your dog eats is all right 😂😂.
It's so nice to hear you like my city. On this video you passed by both my former and current workplace, weird feeling to see those places on You Tube :O
Oh, and guitar record was beaten for the first time in 2006! I know cause I was there :D
Haha always funny seeing places you know on TV
Looks amazing
Welcome to my home city. Hope you enjoyed it!
Thanks again for you video 😊
Great job 😊 Greetings from central Poland 👍❤️
Dzięki
Bardzo fajny vlog. Czekam na kolejne.
Thanks mate!
I think all Poland is Amazing. Enjoy
YEEEEYYYYY!!! You are in my city!!! WrocLOVE :) Hope you will come back more!!
I did absolutely love it there!
Wroclaw has a specific creative vibe, many different cultures, many freaks 😂
Hi Rob. It's great that you are having a good time in Poland. You should visit other places in Poland.
I have plenty of places to visit when I get the chance 😁
No, one time i drove thru a city at Sunday, it was so beatiful, somewhat medieval, and there was so many people walking on the sidewalks, so many beatiful girls. Today I don't know the name of the city but would like to visit it again. Somewhere in Poland.
I had lived in Wrocław for 5 years during my studies, and I did not have any idea of things you told us about this city. Thank you:)
There are a lot more interesting things in the next lot of vlogs!
Wrocławw is beautyfull. My favourites though Toruń, Poznań and Lublin.
I was in Wrocław as a 7 years old, with parents, all day drive from Mazury in Polonez car...
Still remember zoo and moving stairs.😮 It was 1990.
My city! Welcome!
I see a lot of drinks :) enjoy
Yes it is,Wrocław is most beautiful city of Poland😄.
To miasto z nazwy WROCŁAW powoli zmienia nazwę na BANDERASTAD!!.
szybared, No Krakow is the most beautiful. I also like Warsaw. Poland's cities and towns are gorgeous. but you people beware such twats as this guy.
Of course it is!!! No doubt about that👍🏻
Hey man I live here in Wrocław , thanks for visiting my hometown, you even passed erea where my grany goes shoping. Anyways I hope you enjoy stay.👍
Regards from Wrocław. :)
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder :)
Hi rob rob here, I watching your videos and I thing you doing great job special wit my language 😂btw I’m polish…. I love Wrocław that was good choice. I think you should get inside one of polish church I think you will like all decoration

My first day in the UK, o my god they have a washing machine in the kitchen 😮 greetings from Basingstoke
Just up the road from us. We frequently go to Basingstoke. Washing machines in the kitchen just make sense 🤣

Maybe I will and bring Charlie this time 😁
Wrocław slays !!!
Awesome place!
Greetings from Wrocław.My city
It's nice that you visited Wrocław, I had the opportunity to see my housing estate for a while ;)
Haha nice
Next time visit Ustka on the Baltic coast.
Whoa, wait!!! You are in my city now? Nice to have you here, Rob ;-)
Well I was ☺️
@@CharlieandRob Yeah, yeah, yeah... I've missed your invitation, but found it already: 1st of July. Remember, 3 days is not enough. You must come back to us !!!
Very nice. Visited in 60s. It was gray and sad.😊
Well its not grey and sad anymore! :)
Heading there next month
Im sure you will love it!
Having a washing maschine in bathroom is most popular location for this in Poland.
Kitchen for us in england
speaking of "hoovers" - the self winding mechanism for the lead is a polish patent - one of the firms (electrolux I think) bought the polish maker zelmer to get that patent, pity it was sold...
Amazing!!!
I love Wrocław. I need to visit it more.
If I had to move, my first choice would be Poznań for sentimental reasons and Wrocław would be my second choice.
Come and visit Poznan! You will love it as much as Wroclaw 😊
It is on the list!!
Go to "przedwojenna" and try eat "gzik" - pyry z gzikiem, pyszna prosta przystawka :). Welcome to my city. I come from Gdańsk, I recommend it too, but Wrocław kept me here, and i love this city.
3:14 czarna Madzia 😂, Magdalena. Subscribed
Wroclaw ist super, tolle Stadt!
You haven't found even 1 British person - this was so cool! :-) You made me laugh for so long! Gorgeous!
Haha well I found 2 English people in the end. But that's not a lot with the amount of tourists
@@CharlieandRob true :-)
I’m from Wrocław ❤️ Actually live in England
Greeting’s from Bognor Regis
I would have stayed in Wroclaw rather than Bognor ;)
Most - if not all - Polish people keep their washing machines in the bathroom. And they find keeping it in the kitchen odd. Go figure 😂😂😂
Please more trips to Poland :)))
More vlogs from Poland coming!
Hi, welcome to my city, you need at least a week to get to know him better.
Last year november 10 day holiday . on 11 november National Independence Day (Polish: Narodowe Święto Niepodległości) that was great to be there. And the first day Christmas Market in Wroclaw beautiful. Ostrów Tumski is great Panorama van Racławice and close by The Lower Silesian Family Of Katyn monument . Really liked The Passage (Tablica Upamietniajaca Powodz Lipiec 1997 r.) Hala Targova my favorite place for some great food .
Maybe me and Charlie will have to come back for the Christmas Market!
8:29 ist called "deszczownica" and "deszcz" mean "rain". So its like a rainmaker or something like that hahaha
thank you for your opinion about my town :-)
My pleasure. I loved it there!
Hi Rob :] Good Job !!! - Capitol FM ... night shift :]
Good on ya Rob, I'm a Polish Aussie born here bread in Australia and back living here in Krakow, if you need a hand when you're back in this beautiful city, give us a yell, I'll be glad to help. Cheers.
Thats interesting you have made the move back to Poland!
Long story mate.
extra vlog
More coming
Trams are great - sadly, quite a few places in England, but also France and Germany, that once got them, but got rid of them in favour of cars and buses in the era of car-modernisation in the 60s-70s (it happened in Poland too, but on a much smaller scale, presumably, because of cost - the wonderful city of Olsztyn has just reversed it and got trams back several year back). Sadly, it turned out it wasn't the best idea. I am often leading tour groups of children from the UK in Krakow, and usually one of the top attractions is... the ride on the tram. It is efficient, much more reliable than buses timewise, does not make you motion-sick, looks really cool in my opinion, and you can see a lot of stuff, unlike metro (although metro is really great too, especially if your city is over 1 million people). If you can, please push for their restoration in the English cities. I think that only Birmingham has some. As for the UK as a whole, I saw one line in Edinburgh.
Well if cities want cars out, we need park and rides, then busses or trams in my opinion
Manchester has pretty nice and quite big tram network
@@CharlieandRob Similar history in Australia. Apparently Brisbane and Sydney had trams originally and got rid of them in the 60s in favour of buses. Only melbourne kept them. Then Sydney spent years making a mess digging everything back uo to put them back in. I was living there all through that.
The gold coast, Adelaide and Canberra have added trams/light rail in recent years.
The city of Grudziądz has the most beautiful trams in Poland.
I love your channel anyway ❤
Wroclaw is awesome. Ill be there in less than a month
Amazing place!
Toruń - ❤️
Wrocław!!! ❤
The guy at 5:05 with the glove on his head said:
"Kids, don't try this at home... Do it at school!"
*inflates the glove further*
"Now time for my better side"

LOL
Haha I had no idea what he was saying so glad you told me!

Hi Wroclaw is much much betyer than Krakow!!! U have to visit Wroclaw in Christmas time!! Christmas markt is just charming!!
Kraków Is Mach mor interesting by far.
Mógłbym tu podesłać wiele linków na filmy podobnych YT uberów zarówno zza wschodniej, jak i zza zachodniej granicy. Trwają spory, które polskie miasto jest najpiękniejsze. Aspiracje do tego miana mają oglądany tu piękny Wrocław, Kraków, Gdańsk, Warszawa, Poznań, Szczecin, Toruń, Kazimierz nad Wisłą, Sandomierz, Lublin, Łódź i wiele innych.
Well beauty is in the eyes of the beholder :D

My friend, Wroclaw is my favorite Polish city. Krakow is beautiful, but I prefer Wroclaw as well.
Those buildings are very nice 😊 Don't you eat a lot on all trips though? 😅
I eat a fair bit, but I also normally do a lot of walking and exploring to burn it off
Try to check the city of Wroclaw. Among Poles it is the best city
It's a magic city
