      +Antonius Maximus Really cheap actually, the laminate are leftovers of my brothers floor so for me it was free, but you can buy pretty cheap laminate at IKE for about 15 euros you will have enough for a table. The legs are about 2,50 euro per piece in the IKEA. Then you just need some glue and some wood the glue the underside of the table together that should not be more than 8 euro's. I think you can make the whole table with about 40-50 euro's

    How is the bounce? Does it have a consistent 23cm bounce from a drop 30cm? what about on the seems?

    • @SirContact
      @SirContact  8 років тому +5

      +Mike Gabris I have actually never measured the bounce like that, I will do and will let you know. But me and my friends have played over a year on it, we are no professionals but we do play it a lot, we never felt like it didn't bounce properly or that we feel cheated by it. No one has ever noticed the seems or that they would have an effect on the ball. We actually had a small table tennis tournament with about 30 people and 4 tables (3 professional tables and this one). This one was actually used for the finals because everyone liked the looks of it and it didn't feel like a lesser quality.

      Gele Haas
      hello Gele, so you are saying that you didn 't encounter any problems with the smoothness of the surface of laminate? because i thought that the ball is faster with this kind of surface, maybe i am going to build some table too , i also have left some laminate sheets somewhere
      thanks for the idea

    How do you do with the gap between laminate floors?

    • @SirContact
      @SirContact  4 роки тому

      You should use laminate with the smallest gap. If you connect them properly you won't notice anything when you play.

    Call me old fashioned, but is it really necessary for all the cussing and degrading talk? I had to shut the sound off just to finish seeing the build. What I seen looks good and I have to give you credit for ingenuity. Now is this built to regulation size and height?
