This is such an inspiring video, thank you. I painted my whole house in my free time over the last year. It gave me flexibility to do it on my own schedule. Also, it gave me enough time to fill all the cracks using dr fixit and let it cure properly. My furniture was never cluttered since I did one room at a time. But yeah some people did make fun of me that I am saving money but then what’s wrong with that I wonder. I also created a brick wall myself last year same way you also showed in a makeover. Such a fulfilling feeling this is. I am happy to see you are breaking the Indian trends of outsourcing and diying. Sorry for the long message, just got really excited 😊
There is never anything wrong with saving money. If you can do some work on your own, then by all means go do it and don't listen to any losers whose self-worth is tied to hiring people and spending money to make themselves feel rich.

Just a precautionary suggestion. I fell ill while doing painting job. By inhaling turpentine or paint thinner. Even the strong paint smell. I suffered palpitations and lethargy due to exposure to chemical contents in paint.. I used enamel based paint and emulsions.. so painting is not a fun job. Especially if your new to painting home.. be careful and use good quality mask.. if you have asthma or allergies then precaution must be taken and take the help of professionals..
I agree, I have asthema too and it took a toll on my health. So yes, you are right.
@@InteriorMaata I suffered much. And had to consult the pulmonologist. He again and again asked me if I drank the turpentine because of my symptoms.. my family doctor asked me why to paint by yourself. I asked why not. Why nothing happened to painters.. he said they all have been used to that work.. I even had to take nebulaizer medication in the hospital. All this happened during pandemic. So I felt very bad that I exposed my dad and me to hospital.. I think there are organic paints to make the job feeling better. I have a request. I rented a house for my UA-cam works. I want to beautiful the boring green and pink walls. So I want to choose poster colours to create some texture on walls. Because poster colours are water based and temporary so I can simple wash them off while vacating the house. Please let me know your thoughts on this..

I would like you to continue on UA-cam & not tik tok. UA-cam has a better class. I love watching your videos, painting by myself on the walls isn't possible at my age & also allergic to paint odour. I wished when in Mumbai, you could drop by to update my home sometime.
Mam do give information about tv unit,, pvc colour used in kitchen and bathroom.
My home is really old so has distemper paint on it but I'm planning to do a wall mural on it so what paint would you suggest and do you think I should scrape off my distemper first

Hello sister I got inspired by you and decided to repaint my house so got some colours yesterday for living room I got yellow in one wall with off white in rest three ....for kids room I got pastel pink with orange as I could not get any other it’s totally on kids choice ......for our bedroom I got off white with pink ......in living room what colour furniture will look good please suggest something not white as I have small kids .....from where can I get these stencils?? Yeah...Nice question you asked....I think there should be dedicated video for that, people change tiles just for the sake of design....it is terrible to destroy flooring completely for design as it costs huge ( both, economically and environmentally)
