Should I go and see the Milton Avery Show at The Royal Academy in London?

Come and and join me as I explore the new retrospective by American colourist Milton Avery, now showing at the Royal Academy in London. Avery is not as well known in the UK as some of his peers but deserves greater recognition. The exhibition traces his career from early impressionist influences to almost pure abstraction and left me feeling joyous and uplifted!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm in the US - actually near the Phillips in DC & have always adored Avery's work. I think he is not as well known here as he deserves to be. I really appreciated all the information and perspective you shared here
