Toy store: I love the footprints in the snow on the Christmas version. So cute! I do understand why they made the brick sidewalk red. It matches the rest of the set better. The problem is, if you put several sets together to make a street or town the red bricks will stand out as different next to the typical pink. Pet Shop: Both of these are really cute. I can't pick a favorite. Cozy Cottage: I actually like the variation's color pallet. I do agree that the yellow pillows are a little weird, but I really like the brighter colors overall. They just pop more. Grandma's Cottage: I really like purple, so I like that one better, but both are verry cute.
Thank you this a REALLY cool idea for a video, I love the comparisons!! I would really, really love to see like a "mega tour" of your whole collection sometime!! Thanks again ❤️👍
I don't have a whole lot of Pollyville sets. I'm collecting the compacts first. I have gotten a few of my favorite Pollyville sets though. They're all so cute!
You know I like all of them but what I find most interesting about these pallet swaps is that just by changing the color the toys switch from reading very early nineties to reading late nineties. Love your channel by the way, my parents wouldn't buy me polly pockets so seeing yours fills me with joy.
I had no idea this was even a thing. But I am fascinated. I didn't have them when I was a kid. This is pretty amazing. To continue binge watching your vids. Thanks!
Okay let's see, I prefer: 1) Regular toy store 2) I'm kinda torn on the cottage... I prefer the outside of the white one but the inside of the pink one 3) Pet store's kind of a wash, they're both very similar 4) Most definitely prefer the white house, although I can appreciate the creativity with the purple stones :P
I love bright colors so I'm more into those sets. I've only been collecting the "OG" ones since I played with those and I'll probably go insane trying to find the variants. Those yellow pillows though...
I wonder if the sign variations are so they can have a version to release in areas that aren't english-speaking, so they dont have to make a ton of different translations?
That makes a lot of sense! I know with Sylvanian Families they do alternate signage/labeling for different releases, the ones for Japan have simplified versions of the English signs/stickers rather than translating it, with separate versions for the UK, and English/Canadian "Calico Critters" versions with their own unique name. It really depended on the set and how far they'd be distributing it, I bet it was similar with Polly. I'm such a nerd LOL!!
oh my gosh, dk the watermill turned the clock!!! how cool!!!💕

The inside of the pink cottage is really nice. But... yellow pillows. Why 😂

Can you do a toy tour on the light up kitty house? That was my absolute favorite thing from childhood
I haven't collected any of the animal wonderland sets yet, but when I do, I'll definitely make a video!
