What an adorable set!
when i was around 15 years old in the 2000s, i was lucky enough to get a tv for my bedroom with a dvd player! i remember feeling like i'd really made it at that point. Definitely would have loved a TV in a treehouse when i was a child!
I remember my mother got this for me when I turned 12 or 13. I loved polly pockets as a young kid like 5-9 yrs old, and we couldn’t afford a lot of them (I only had maybe 2), but going to my (rich) friend’s house they had SO MANY.
But by the time I turned into a tween, I was too old for them and she could see in my eyes that I loved it but I had grown past it
She cried because the time had come for me to be a teenager and I wasn’t a little girl anymore.
And now I’m looking for this toy as an adult because it’s unlocking so many childhood memories, and even if we didn’t have a lot, my mom loved me and gave me small pockets of joy in between (no pun intended)
Thank you for uploading this! I feel like we belonged to the same generation! The late 90s and early 2000s was so full of war and hate but I’m lucky that I had a gentle and kind childhood during that time
I had that set in 6th grade! It brought so much joy! I remember having rough days in school and looking forward to going home and playing with that set! Thanks for bringing back those memories for me, Holly!
There is such a innate nostalgia to this set, like i never had a treefort but i still felt something with this
Trapdoor slide is very cool
Fav part is definetely the cozy area with the hammock, just too nostalgic! I also love the palette in general on the figures too, the overall and colors just SCREAM 90S!!

you skipped the best part! further up the tree’s branches there’s a platform hidden in the leaves. I used to pretend Lulu would stand there and use a slingshot to protect the treehouse from intruders 😂
I don't remember which way they should sit on the swing... I remember I got my first TV in my room in '97... It was really nice... But it got even nicer in 2002/3 when I got a dvd player as well
