  • A pinhole camera is the simplest camera and its introduces one to the basics of photography. While there are commercially made pinhole cameras, most are homemade.
In this video, I shared how I made use of a $2 wooden box and modified it to became a pinhole camera.
    About me:
I have been doing fim photography, darkroom printing since 2003. Since then, I have also been doing alternative processes such as albumen printing, kallitype printing, wet plate and dry plate photography. My favorite cameras are the Nikon FM2 and Nikon F2 and my favorite films are Fomapan 100, Kodak Ektar, Fujifilm Velvia, Rollei Superpan. with The various genres of photography I enjoy doing are landscape photography, portrait photography,
Being new to UA-cam, I appreciate the works of other film photographers on youtube, such as Willem Verbeeck, Matt Day, Bigheadtaco and many more

I have no woodworking skills, but as someone who just ordered a 4x5 pinhole camera online, the timing of this video couldn’t have been better. Really helpful, I have a much better idea of the process now. Can’t wait to try it!

@@AnaloguePT it’s not really branded or made by a big company or anything, there is a gentleman who builds them and sells them on eBay. Haven’t received it yet but looking forward to trying it out

Nice work. I like your idea of the bolts for keeping the film holder in place. I buy the sticky backed light seal foam and use strips of it where my film holder meets the wooden box. That helps a lot with stopping light leaks too.

you can use photo paper too. use a shoebox or something similar and load the photo paper in a darkbag.
