Wow you guys are on You tube now!
so Awesome!!!!!!!!!
This episode was very cathartic for me and I loved hearing everyones perspectives. One thing that wasn't discussed is staying at a job longer than you should have. I have now done this a few times in my career and, to Cole's point, given too much of myself. Now that I've experienced leaving a job where I was very comfortable, taking on more scope, joining a place that made me deeply unhappy, etc. It has taught me a lot about myself and helped me understand what I need out of a job. When you've been in tech as long as we all have, we have the privilege or burden of choice. Some great advice I was given somewhat recently, is never take a job because you're running away from something. Always take a job because you're running toward something.
Great job, gents. You're always a beacon of knowledge & empathy for all of us.
Thank you, Jason! That is such a great point we could have covered staying too long at a job.
Please make more podcasts with video recording!!
We will be doing video moving forward 😊
