Great job! We watch you all the time. My wife picked several lots of these army survival banners from a tackle shop going out of business for .25 a piece and sells them daily for $15. Crazy! God is good. 😊
Always love your guys videos! To answer one of your questions: I pick up a ton of VCR/DVD combo units at Estate Sales, depending on the model. Also, most vintage NFL Team drinking glasses. Picked up a set of 8 49ers glasses for $13 and the sold 4 days later for $75. So keep an eye out for those, everyone!
I think this internet channel thing here is just so perfect for you, your teaching back round is very obvious, you said you were a good teacher and I can tell you were and all though you love what you do I think you must have loved teaching also, cause your still teaching. Please don't grade me on my punctuation hahaha
My wife loves to pick up the MCM and 70s / 80s decor ( like DART and SYROCO). We usually get them really cheap at yard sales or thrift stores, and they sell fairly well, usually $20-40 a piece. The only downsides are they are bulky, and are not the fastest sellers. But they do sell!
I've been having really fast turnover and good profit on the name brand (Sony, Magnavox, Etc...) VCR's. If you can pick them up in the $5-10 range, they will almost always sell quickly for $40-60... Thank you for all your interesting content. Helps me tremendously!!
Totally agree on cameras. That has been one of my best sellers this summer, and I find them everywhere. Also, not just football jerseys, but Soccer / Futbol Jerseys (espicially adidas) were really good for me too
The Naber factory where they made theses dolls were here in the town I live in out west. In Surgarmillwoods. “Those are some Expensive Dolls you got your hands on-Don’t sell yourself short on them. Some went for $3-4 Hundred a piece. If I recall correctly he started making them for his Daughter. Gorgeous Dolls! Great Find
Digital cameras for me are super hot. Doesn't matter if they are incomplete or untested. I can buy them anywhere between $1-$20 and easily double or triple my money every single time.
Hi Kevin, I am not a reseller but for some unknown reason, I am fascinated with the business. Because of your videos, I recently joined Ebay as a buyer and have become a big fan of Pepper. So glad she (or he) made a rare appearance here!
My sisters and I went to McDonald's for lunch one day and got the cups. I had no idea but none of us wanted them so I looked them up on eBay before throwing them away. There weren't that many up for sale when I listed mine. Sold the first one for $39 free shipping and the second one for $32. They exploded on eBay overnight and prices are down now. Oh well, our lunch was free and I made a little profit.
Love the videos!! I started Ebay a few month ago, was foimg decent bit got lazy and got out of the algorithm, but watching your videos definitely encourages me to get back at it!
This is so funny, cause yesterday I sold one, also made in Italy. (not the same) and I picked two up for €1,50. sold this one for €25,- But I see that the stuff that is selling in America, doesn’t really sell in Europe. But I’m still learning anyway from you and other pickers and I just love watching picking in America. Have a great day!
I bought cups at McDs on Day 1. I sold 7 for $30 each! I am glad I did it first thing, because I'm with you in figuring they wouldn't go for big bucks for long!
Thanks for being honest... some other UA-cam resellers give Valued At/Unsold prices...any new to reselling would be Stuck if they listened to these fake values..you are For Real!!
Well to be honest I mix sold prices with some listed prices on my picker channel. It is just easier to use my own listings when editing but I try to keep it realistic when I do.
Love watching your videos. I am relatively new to reselling and flipping things for a profit. You say cassette tapes, what genre should I be on the lookout for. I see a lot of those, but I never know what sells. I am really trying to work on getting inventory. I only have @ 220 items listed, but I do not have enough stuff to be posting every day. Any suggestions?
Yes! Halloween is selling now. A 1940’s paper mache Jack o Lantern sold for $90 (paid .25). Sold 3 -1986 Boo Buckets from McDonald’s for $15 each (paid.25 each) also a Vtg Halloween puzzle. Start listing now! Love your channel!
Medium sized vintage wood shelves (like 18 inches across by 14 inches high) sell in the $20’s for me, so if I can find them for $3 or less, I get them 💝💝
Media is something most people don't value and I've been selling on eBay for 25 years. Seems like just in the last 3-5 years UA-cam Resellers have "discovered" media sells. I was doing it before smartphones existed to look them up.
We sell more glass than anything else. Pyrex Uranium glass and other like items. Halloween is moving already and some Christmas too. We mainly sell our stuff in our Antique booths. Was great seeing you and your dad again today.
Wonderful video as always. My wife and I watch you all the time and have learned so much from you. We have been posting all of our jackets and fall items and haven't really had any sales on them. Is there anything you recommend a seller does to helps sell jackets? We have a bunch of really nice ones
One of my very first Garage Sale purchases and first sales on eBay was actually a Sirius stratus 6 car radio new open box. The guy at the Garage Sale wanted $5 for it and I was able to get it for $3. It took only four days to sell for $32 plus shipping. That was back in October 2023. Today, in the same condition, it sells for about $25 plus shipping, and it probably wouldn’t sell as fast. The sell through rate and market value of items really does fluctuate within short periods of time.
I'm glad glass does really good. I'm sure I might one day sell something that is glass. After stocking in retail. I would always see candles broken and mirrors broken after opening the box. So with that being said. I'm scared to sell any glass items😅
I have been passing up on the Polaroid cameras, even the rainbow /cream vintage that used to sell for great money. For me these have really went down in resell. I also avoid plush like I avoid lice and bed bugs for that very reason. LOL. Unless I get the plush brand new I usually jump past it. Have fun and be safe
Cassette tapes were my surprise sellers... I cleaned out my old collection of punk cassettes and some of them went for surprisingly good money. My husband was in a punk band too and their vinyl from the 80's does really well. Definitely an overlooked category although I don't really see it much in the wild.. just my closet.. ha! oh, and I had that exact koala plush when I was a kid. Totally forgot about it until I saw it in your video, thanks for the fun memory :)
@@AprilHelton-p3c I don't know about Eagles and Palmer. Some matchbox twenty do well, better if you have various cassettes from one band and sell them as a lot. Most cassettes aren't big money but rare ones, especially the punk ones where there weren't a ton printed can fetch a decent price. An ex: I sold a Misfits cassette for $55 and a lot of 5 exploited tapes for $90. But again, these were more rare. Many others went for $10-$20. You may be able to lot all of one artist together and get a better price if they are common tapes :)
Magazines are something people don’t value but I sell lots of them and get decent money. I’ve been selling a bit of everything. I have noticed jeans are starting to pick up. Oddly enough, I delisted and sold similar and sold a bunch of lots of cassette tapes
I only sell golf clubs and bags on my eBay. I document what I buy and sell on my channel. The next two months are the absolute best of the year and then I only generally get sales from Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, and Florida for the rest of 4Q.
Hey I've made an interesting observation about shipping rates on different platforms that could potentially be a good topic for one of your videos. I've just listed the same book on Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, and Mercari. What I listed is a heavy book that is just over 10 pounds. The results I'm finding in Google searching USPS Media Mail shipping rates is that they are standard flat rates without discounts. However, that's absolutely not true. Here are the different rates being charged for the same book on these 3 platforms, and I've also included the quoted rate direct from the USPS. Facebook Marketplace - $8.49; USPS rate - $12.13; Ebay - $12.13; Mercari - $12.99. I've long suspected these platforms have negotiated a lower shipping cost with the USPS than they are charging buyers and sellers on these platforms. So while Ebay says the Media Rate rates are flat, strangely Facebook Marketplace has a discounted rate for the same service. While it's physically possible Facebook Marketplace is taking a loss on the shipping rates I don't think that is economically reasonable, and I don't think that is what's occurring. Was Facebook Marketplace (Meta) able to negotiate a lower shipping cost for Media Mail with the USPS than Ebay? I can't answer that, but why would Facebook Marketplace be able to get the discount and Ebay not. Lastly, Mercari is charging more than the cost if I was to go to the post office myself, so clearly Mercari has no shame and is taking a larger cut on the shipping. Lastly I'll say these platforms are all charging a final sale fee that is generally based as a percentage of the sum of final sale price of the item, the cost of shipping paid by the buyer, and any sales tax collected. So while these platforms may quote the seller or buyer a sales fee of 10% or 16.5%, the actual amount taken can be significantly more if the seller was thinking it was being applied to only the price of the item sold. The percentage taken could be as high as 30% or more if the cost of shipping is equal to or higher than the cost of the item.
How do you figure out what to price items? I spend so much time trying to figure out what items should be priced. I’ve learned a ton of stuff from your videos.
My Poshmark sales are abysmal. Just my opinion (but I am a paid Analyst): Poshmark's marketing strategy is tanking sales and the micro-economy of the platform. Many buyers now think everything should be practically free because of Poshmark ads and sellers aren't having it. They're moving to crosslisting and selling everywhere. My sales are 50/50 for eB and PM. My goal (ques. from previous post) is to shift most of my sales to eBay and other platforms.
I was never a glass seller; shipping it was too much of a crapshoot, even if I packed to withstand a truck rolling over the box. I do buy it when it's pennies on the dollar though, because even if prices drop and I sell at auction locally I'm still in the black.
Do you have a person by the name of Sean That also goes by lakeside, that helps you on your Commonwealth picker channel. He was here at my yard sale last week and said that he works with you.
Odd item that every time I get 1 of any type, they're gone within a day or 2. Vintage Melted popcorn plastic decor. In the last 2 weeks I've sold 3 separate items to separate people. I'm a small seller so 3 of the same type of thing is a lot lol A turkey, a witch, and the Boston Bruins logo all in that material. Within 2 days...
For months I was buying copies of Deadpool on the PS4 knowing people would fall for the fad/ hype once the movie dropped. Sure enough the game’s value rose to $150 for the first couple of weeks the movie was out. It’s slowly coming back down but I already sold all my stock and made out like a bandit 😂
I love selling digital cameras (Canon/Sony/Nikon) and when priced right, they sell in 1-2 weeks max. The key is putting together a good bundle - camera, charger, battery, SD card, and maybe a carry case or AV cords.
Also, know that you will see many first time buyers in this category. I have sold digital cameras to dozens of ZERO feedback buyers in the last year, with ZERO issues. So let’s welcome these first time buyers when we are fortunate for them to buy from us.
I left a rude comment yesterday and want to say that it was uncalled for and I based it on very little and I shouldn’t have done that, and I feel bad. I take it back.

I haven't been doing well trying to sell Cassette Tapes, Records, 45s and DVDs as lots on Facebook Marketplace. Maybe I need to switch to Ebay? ⏺️📀
Hey Kevin it's been awhile, glad to see your still selling ET pins!! 😹
Ivan. It has slowed drastically my friend. I still have thousands. Hope you are doing well my friend.

Do you think I need to order remotes for each one, or will that be worth it?
LOVE THIS VIDEO ABOUT ITEMS!!! Thanks Kevin!!!
Alien 3 sold because of the new Aliens movie that was just released in theaters.

Your yard always looks so amazing! Looks like your very own city park! Do you mow it, or do you hire it done?
Digital cameras for me are super hot. Doesn't matter if they are incomplete or untested. I can buy them anywhere between $1-$20 and easily double or triple my money every single time.
Truth! About a month ago I listed a 14mp camera and it sold high in less than an hour. I'd be happy to find them more often.

McDonald's cups for the win! Definitely sold a handful the first week they released, covered my lunch that week!

Mid to late nineties and basically all rock and some pop in the 80’s and 90’s

Do you test your cameras whether regular 35mm film or sd cards or video cameras of all types?
Pottery n Glass has stalled for me since 2021
Pepper seems to be very happy to see you! :D
ive been selling hallmark christmas keepsake ornamnets all summer. the highest sold was 26.99 plus shipping. i paid $1 each or less for the ornaments.
I’m excited that Records are selling well for me followed by cassettes then compact discs.
We sell more glass than anything else. Pyrex Uranium glass and other like items. Halloween is moving already and some Christmas too. We mainly sell our stuff in our Antique booths. Was great seeing you and your dad again today.
Sold the bus too at Christmas. Got it from the GW bins.

good pics, send offers early and often and pray for cold weather. It is around the corner.
Funny enough, just sold a crafting item. 2nd crafting item in a week. Will see if the trend continues!
Loving your Nova Scotia licence plate! ....you guessed it...that's where I watch from 🙂
It was from Cincinnati picker.
Vintage Tupperware and believe it or not, Pyrex/Fire King

Yes. Good point Polaroid is hit and miss
I like to pick up and most miss them. Eyeglasses. Candles. Trinket Boxes. Books.
Picked a Beastie Boys cassette today with all comps greater than $35. Paid $0.50. Have had really good luck with them lately
Pottery is also on the uptick.... in addition to glass

Hello, Do you use ebay shipping labels? I'm wondering because I'm very new at this n just trying to learn on my own. Have a great day.
Yes. Most of the time
Magazines are something people don’t value but I sell lots of them and get decent money.
I’ve been selling a bit of everything. I have noticed jeans are starting to pick up. Oddly enough, I delisted and sold similar and sold a bunch of lots of cassette tapes
I'm struggling to find info on an Alberta China set I've got. I'm stuck researching it. It's got gold trim on it as well.
I only sell golf clubs and bags on my eBay. I document what I buy and sell on my channel. The next two months are the absolute best of the year and then I only generally get sales from Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, and Florida for the rest of 4Q.

Halloween and toys have been selling since july for us
May be atypical but I haven't experienced summer slowdown on Posh. And Q4 sales typically are not especially strong. Can't say why...?
Massive Debt Pile for me would be an understatement. 😅😂 😆 🤣
lol. Richard get to selling on commons my friend.
I have good luck with Must cameras. I find.
My Poshmark sales are almost non-existent. Sending out offers but very few bites.
?????Kevin my mom is asking “ Where on 127 did you buy the Naber Dolls”! She was STOKED WHEN SHE SAW YOUR NABER DOLLS- ????❤
North or Frankfurt
Hey there Kevin 😊😊
Do you have a person by the name of Sean

No. His name is Andrew.
Good video! But the oval little boy blue wall hangings are ugly, but glad you did well with them lol
Your missing Pikachu is actually a Raichu. Not that that helps you track him down, heh.

VGA cables lol

I know nothing about international shipping. How tough is it to do international shipping.
I just do it through ebay. They do everything for you
I'm unable to watch properly, as it's showing words on the screen, for some reason, does anyone else have this problem? Thank you in advance Jayne 🇬🇧
I think computers will be the next big crash
Either by new tech, or something
Vintage watch and clocks people overlook a lot
Womens hair hotrollers is hot for me .
I left a rude comment yesterday and want to say that it was uncalled for and I based it on very little and I shouldn’t have done that, and I feel bad. I take it back.
If it makes you feel better I don’t remember it. 😉
So fast on the clickbait that you messed up the title.
If this is clickbait then I can’t wait to see what you think of next week. 😉
