What ron did you use for the Evo? I'm picking mine up from the port this upcoming week, but there are very few 99ron gas pumps here in Canada. Most are 97.
I have the 6 GSR which are heavier than RS. I would advise getting a boost gauge, its eco mode for your foot. And your rear wing needs adjustment or remove it all together. Wheels help too the O.Z OEM wheels is actually very good at 17lb if you haven't made that mistake of replacing them with heavier alloy ones.
best way is to fill tank full. Drive around then fill back to full. You will get accurate litres used to fill back up. You don't need to run down to last fumes that way. You have the miles and exact litres.
I wanted to see how many miles I actually got through varied driving types. Motorway, round town, long trips etc. Your way would work though. When I filled back up it took just over 40 litres so pretty close to the 39 litres I originally put in. Thanks for subscribing too Martin :)
I think your numbers may be wrong, or mine are. My evo (literally the same as yours) goes 402kms per tank. That's 249 Miles. The evo fuel tank capacity is 50 Litres, converted to US Gallons, it 13.2 which divided by 249 miles is 18MPG US. If you use IMP gallons the tank is 10.99 gallons. Which makes it 22MPG IMP.
My 7 lives @ the Shell petrol station! I do not even wanna consider the MPG espeically coming from a TDI A3 which was about just shy of 60+ mpg with a plug in map and all motorway miles, all about the smiles per gallon haha, good video lad
I don't know Evos that well, I would have thought you'd get better economy given they are relatively small engines, albeit turbocharged. I get about that from my 4.0 supercharged V8 jag. Thanks for your vids. Really useful overview of the importing process. Cheers
It maybe only 2 litres but it's a performance turbo application, that effectively makes it like a 4 litre N/A engine on fuel. My old Evo IV got 22 mpg at best on a long run.
@@projectfearn Tell me about it! I run my remapped Scirocco TDI on the stuff and for the first time ever last week filled it up to £100 for a full tank!
I didn't think 24.7mpg was bad. Will see if I ate into that reserve when I fill up next time and see how many litres it takes.
what octane did you use in the states we get up to 91 or 93 i dont know how it is in the uk but if you have any idea i would love to know

They reckon when the fuel light comes on there’s a gallon left in most cars
I did my figures on fuel light to fuel light pal 😎
Danny it’s Gyula, watched your vids mate. Bang on
How's it going mate?
160 miles to a full tank i get in my 6
My best so far on varied roads/driving is 310 miles
Not bad going that mate 😎
Your car is my dream car, but in LHD.
It is also my dream car but in RHD haha :)
Not bad id say with rush hour traffic etc
Yeah I thought the same. Maybe I might of gone into that 10 litre reserve a little but will see when I fill it up.
That the shell on the ring road in bolton?
Yeah mate :) You local?
@@projectfearn yes mate. Bury lad. You from bolton?
What a nugget, why not just call to the shell garage. Fill. And calculate from fuel dispensed.
Because I'm a nugget mate 👍

My old 2002 impreza sti had 20+ liters/100 in daily use. In racing mode over 30 liters!!! It was a petrol eater but l still miss it...
Lol I sell my suburo
Top vid amigo!! You lost me at the end I'll have to skip back haha
Not bad mpg that. My ST220 gets 18.5 :(
Cheers my friend :)
Buna Buna mad my st225 gets 13
It would probably cost about £260 to fill up in this day and age.
V-power has always been expensive 😫

🤢🤢🤢
It's obvious why your fuel consumption is so bad, look at the angle of attack of that rear wing.
Time to get the Allen key out I think.
I like it the way it is. You are the second person to mention the angle of the wing though ha 😎
😳 how u manage soo many miles. I barely get 170 miles out of a full tank on mind lol
Is yours standard too pal? 🤔
@@projectfearn no mate. There might be the answer lol or heavy foot.
🤣🤣🤣
deffo being cheated here cuz my suzuki jimny does exactly the same only slower. i need a change.
🤣 no cheating pal :) used to sell Jimnys and they are heavy on the juice :) 👊
