I remember staying at both Stoval's Space Best Westerns motels. At the time they were part of the Disney trip magic... love me some mid-century modern and mid-century future stuff 🧐😎🥳 I also loved the House of the Future.
Thanks for once again providing valuable information to your followers! Over the years we've stayed in every one of these types of lodging, although not always in *Anaheim*. We stayed in one of these in another city/State over this past holiday season and I was having "de ja Vue" at the identical look/layout/furniture/decor/amenities, etc. If I didn't KNOW these were in ANAHEIM I would have SWORN you were filming "our" room! LOL!! Comment/question: While helpful, ALL of these are "corporate" lodging (Hilton, Marriott, Best Western, Westin, etc.). Have you already given overviews of the more locally owned "local" favorites that are similar or even closer in distance & price points, such as Castle Inn, Park Place, Candy Cane Inn, etc.? I've seen a LOT of your Anaheim hotel overviews but not all, so forgive me if I've missed those! Would love to see them if you already have, and if you haven't, would love to see you include THOSE sooner than later! Thanks again Chris! Btw, your "cute names" for the gym equipment cracks me up! LOL!
We've stayed at both Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn and both of these are about a 5 minute walk from the Toy Story parking lot bus loading. You go through security before getting on the bus and it is super-quick. Then the bus drops you off past the security check and you walk right into the Disneyland Esplanade. So easy and free! The walk from the Hampton is a bit shorter and takes you past the Disney bathroom in case you need to use it before or after the bus ride. Oh, the bus ride from Toy Story to the Esplanade is under 5 minutes.
I stayed at the Westin the summer Disney reopened post shutdown. It was amazing! Compared to current prices, I got a great deal on the park facing room with full balcony. What a memorable stay. ✨️
Chris, I have great memories of my parents driving my sister and I around the outskirts of Disneyland in the 90’s with all the cool hotels with their crazy exteriors. I remember one specifically with a big genie on top of it. A cool video suggestion would be comparison of the olden days to modern day hotels surrounding the Disney resort.
Thank you for showing these hotels 😊 We stayed in Springhill Suites a year and a half ago and loved it. I see they must have added barn doors between the living area and sleeping area in the Queen rooms. Thats great, we were missing that. We are going back here at the end of June. We are coming from New Zealand
Just got back this morning from a Disneyland Trip. We stayed at the Residence Inn Anaheim Convention Center, the hotel right next to the Springhill Suites. It was a great stay and very convenient. The breakfast was one of the better buffets I have had at a Residence Inn. Highly recommend.
Hi Chris. I guess you got your 💪🏼 by using all the different Canoe Machines. Thank you for showing all the different places to stay that are close to Disney. You should do more Cliffhangers. Keep having Fun on your Adventures.
Hi Chris! Something that would have tied in nice with this video is discussing the weather in SoCal. "Cool & wet in the winter, very pleasant in the Spring, warm and nice in the Summer and hit and dry in the Fall".
These are awesome videos... I'm a stay on property guy, but it's great to see the options... And! Now I know to not pick up the heavy things in the workout rooms...
The Clarion is my go to hotel for DLR because it's right across the street from the toy story parking lot and you're able to walk to the parking lot and ride the shuttle to the front gate. Plus the hotel is a lot cheaper than most in the area.
I wonder if you could review motel 6 and Capri Suites please.(I am from Canada.I am interested in somewhere this reasonably priced and clean.)Thank you.
Hey Chris and Amanda, I stayed at the Hilton next to the Convention Centre when I was in town at the end of January (first time in California). It would normally be a bit expensive for me, but I split the room with a friend of mine who is a Canadian Military Vet. The military discount was quite substantial. I know that you don't usually mention prices, since they change so fast, but do you think it might be worth asking the desks if they do certain kinds of discounts? Also, thank you for pointing out the ADA adaptations in the pool and similar accessibility amenities.
New sub! I love watching reviews for my upcoming vacations and after we've gone to help remember the memories. I've been a Mammoth Club addict for years, but the California content is thin (of course, since they're Florida-based). I'm excited to find someone with a great personality to follow who prioritizes the same things I do when I'm on vacation. Thank you for the great content!
Amazing views and info thank you Chris great job I appreciate you covering everything even the small details this video will help me on my next vacation two thumbs up👍👍😎😎
Hello Chris, we love your informational documentary with your family and friends. What are your thoughts on the clementine suites in Anaheim ca? Thank you
Hey there, nice informative vid. Couldn’t help noticing that other groups were following you. Was there some kind of open house event with local resorts ?
Thank you for the hotel recommendations Chris!! I don't know if you're familiar with this hotel: Candy Cane Inn. It sits right behind Disneyland and when you wake up, it's under a second to get to the park. They have a great continental breakfast such as eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, and the like. I strongly suggest doing a video on this hotel.
Great video! But, are you not allowed to give general prices for the rooms? That would be awesome if you could give us an idea of what the rooms cost and the differences in seasonal costs.
You need to do a review of Staybridge Suites. It was a great hotel in the moderate range. Got a good deal with Costco Travel. Walking distance to Disneyland also.
Chris, could you discuss the pricing strategy of hotels. We are looking at coming to Disneyland Nov.17-23 of this year. Pricing some of the hotels where we have previously stayed for reasonable prices around $200-225 per night, currently charge exorbitant prices for a reservation booked now. But experience has told me the prices will drop to a reasonable price the closer we get to our travel dates. My questions why do hotels do this and who books at these rates? What is the sweet timing spot for booking a hotel reservation?
So far, two rooms and they both had a microwave. If our room at the 4 points had a microwave in the room, I wouldn't have a giant burn scar on my wrist 😮😢.
Thank you for your upbeat room tours with silliness thrown in. My cat passed away this morning and you helped make me smile after a day of sadness. 😊❤
I am familiar with the sadness. Glad you found a reason to smile today. May the happy memories with your cat be something that can bring you joy.
We stayed at Best Western Stovalls Inn last summer! We enjoyed it.
Good to know!

I prefer the small, independent hotel/motels. Candy Cane is wonderful! Alpine Inn is a great value, too.

A cliff-hanger! You left us with . . .🙊

I appreciate that hotels have bunk beds! So awesome!
That's a lot of work making these videos for people thank you!
love the map references in video!
These videos are great. Very helpful, more please!

Chris do you ever have that urge to just jump into those pools you review? LOL I would have that urge, cloths and all!
Perfect timing! I was just planning our next Disney vacation!

When reviewing hotels could we know if the hotel has a shuttle. Very good info for us older visitors.
Thank you. I’ll include that in future reviews

You read my mind. I was just looking at these spots as I plan my son’s first visit to Disneyland. Thank you for the vid!🙌🙌🙌
Oh my! Chris you make these tours so enjoyable! Thanks for keeping it entertaining! And for showing us so many details! Can't wait to see the Westin!
These are awesome videos... I'm a stay on property guy, but it's great to see the options... And! Now I know to not pick up the heavy things in the workout rooms...
Glad to help!
I just received my PPP hoodie, tie pins & front gate pins today and I absolutely love them excellent quality merchandise
Just booked a stay at the homewood suites, thank you! I’ve been searching for somewhere a bit closer and pet friendly.
thank you GetAwayToday! That was helpful!

Love the Kids in the hall reference "squishing your head".. lol
Glad you mentioned the artificial scent, I am alergic. Good to know.
I wonder if you could review motel 6 and Capri Suites please.(I am from Canada.I am interested in somewhere this reasonably priced and clean.)Thank you.
....as always for the family..... the Villa's @ Grand California is where it's at. Best all!
Awesome, thank you Chris, I love when you show us the hotels

Great review of hotels!
Homewood also used to have evening buffet. Not sure if they still do?
Hey Provost! I was curious, have you ever reviewed the candy cane inn near Disneyland?
Please do video. On FREE PARKING hotels. Thank you
I’m not sure there are hotels in the immediate Disney area with free parking…🤔… easy additional revenue for hotels.
@robin5159 I am not for sure, but I was thinking candy cane inn or castle inn . I do not know if there is anything else. Thank you
Great views and courtesy as always
New sub!

These are great walk thru's, so helpful and honestly entertaining haha
I like toast. I like to put my face over the toaster. So warm
I got my shirt today. YAY!!! I'm going to try and not spill my chowder on it.
You did a great job. Useful information.
The pool at Pavillion looks more like a Gemini or Mercury capsule than Apollo.
I stay at the Hojo on harbor most of the time! It's home to us Mattercammers! But I have stayed at Stovalls and loved it! Classic!
I love these hotel videos!
Hey just want to tell you that UA-cam (Theme Park Steve) gave you a shout out last night on his live stream!
I love your hotel tour videos!
Mate, can you please do a review on the Desert Inn and Suites? We’re staying there in June.
Here ya go. ua-cam.com/video/goBWSwEh42Y/v-deo.htmlsi=at9ADZS0jG6aFFLn
Thanks Chris but wrong hotel - we’re staying at the Desert Inn and Suites not the Dessert Palms. Do you have a review on this one?
A question for viewers. Which do you prefer and why. One dunk and more counter space or two sinks? Just curious.
HAHAHAHAHA.... Name this fitness machine.... hahaha

Hi Chris. My brother and I met you when you were filming this. Sacto. If you remember.
SAC-toe!! 🤣🤣💙💚

Q? I know you have a vacation planner that gives the best rates. Are they just US based or will they help a UK traveller?
Thanks Chris!!
Howdy howdy howdy!
Chris, can you give us some price points!
Thank you Sir.
Ah your shoes match. Lol
How do you get access to each of these hotels?
Woa❤
13:57 it’s called valet.
So far, two rooms and they both had a microwave. If our room at the 4 points had a microwave in the room, I wouldn't have a giant burn scar on my wrist 😮😢.
Am I the first comment!!
When someone is in the bathroom the closet is exposed... and the person in the bathroom is not.

You butchered that fitness room 🤦🏻♀🤦🏻♀
