I have stayed at the Fairfield several times and always have had a nice time. As you said, location is fantastic and the facilities are great. One thing you failed to mention is customer service. Always awesome. During one stay, we had AC issues. They were unable to fix it and moved us to a new room. They gave us a comp stay for our next trip to Disneyland. It was just a letter the manager wrote for us. When I got home, I put the letter in a drawer and forgot about it. Several years later I found the letter and called the Fairfield to see if it was any good. There was a new manager who said no problem, just bring the letter when you come down for your stay. I had no way to verify the letter. To make a long story long, they take care of you at the Fairfield.
I just toured the Fairfield when I was there a couple of weeks ago and book a lot of clients there. Their gift shop is the best bar none! Even if my clients stay somewhere else, I tell them to check out the gift shop there!
The Fairfield is special to us, as that's where my wife and I stayed on our honeymoon, which was also our first trip back to the park (then just the one) since we were kids. We've been back many times and for many years The Fairfield was our go-to. Things have gotten a bit better for us recently, so we've started splurging on the Disneyland Hotel proper, but there is nothing wrong with the fine Fairfield.
It's been years since I've stayed in a Fairfield Inn hotel and it's great to know that one exists near Disneyland. What I remember about my past times staying at this hotel with family: the room was really nice and the customer service exceeded my expectations in many great ways. We called the front desk for more bath towels and they were right on it in the blink of a second. As far as this location goes, it looks really homey and has that classic feel. The seating areas upstairs are such a great addition to the customer service benefit. These hotel review videos that are near Disneyland are so beneficial to us and it makes my family feel less stressed for Disneyland planning. The posters of Disneyland upstairs and downstairs look fascinating. Disneyland history fascinates me so much.
Thanks Chris for the review. You helped me pick where to stay in April. Can’t wait for Star Wars night. I hope I run into you at Disney while I’m there.
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn earlier this year. I usually stay on property but was not disappointed. Next year we are going try the Anaheim Hotel it is a little bit cheaper. I would love a video on the Anaheim. This one was spot on. Thank you.
I just started there a couple of weeks ago... And the service was amazing. Everyone who worked there was great.... And they gave us a ground floor room that was needed for my sister's mobility needs. Could not be happier with this hotel and the location. 😁
Hi Chris! We stayed here a few weeks ago and it was great! We made sure to book through Get Away Today and told them Provost Park Pass sent us! We actually met you on the street and you were SUPER NICE! You took the time to talk to my wife and I which was really nice. You made us feel like we already knew you even though it was our first time meeting. We had the conversation about calling Sacramento SacTo, Sac Town, Sac, etc lol It was very nice to meet you! Your videos are awesome!
Thank you for making almost daily Videos Chris! Keeping me and all-a us up on the endless scoop de jure! You are a silly goose and more importantly a great friend! Hooray for PPP!
That’s where we’ve stayed every year for probably the last 12 years. Quick walk, so easy to go back for a power nap 3-5 pm, then power through until close.
I live close, but when we go to DL we stay here. Not fancy, but very practical and easy walk. It is great to take a break from the park and rest your dogs for a bit before going back for a night of fun. Thanks for posting.
As a family who traveled from Australia to stay there - cannot fault it. Also a Panera out the front to grab something light and healthy was also appreciated.
The Fairfield is pretty nice and great location. I just HATE the floors. The lack of carpet not only makes the room feel cheap, but carpet does an excellent job of noise absorption. You can hear how echo-y it is in the video. My go-to is the Spring Hill suites on the opposite side of Disney, by the mickey and friends garage. Huge rooms, carpet and comparable walking distance. Fairfield will do in a pinch, though I’d rather stay at the far superior Courtyard next door, especially with kids.
I stayed there last time I went back in November of 2022. Honestly a great hotel. I've stayed at the Camelot Inn & Suites next door but the marriot was a bit cheaper so I decided to go there. Room was super spacious for just one person
When Chris shows the toilet I say to myself “this is where you put your krakkens” lol also I’ve stayed here too it’s awesome and the walk isn’t too bad at all! ❤
Have great memories of dodger stadium grandpa took us twice a year to games. He was a dodger fan since they were the Brooklyn dodger cause he was born and raised in New York. Of course me and mom were angels fans 😂.
Great hotel we’ve stayed there twice, the Westin twice and the Disneyland Hotel twice. The walking distance from this hotel is to the main gate is about the same distance as from the Disneyland hotel to the main gate really convenient plus there’s a McDonalds and Panera Bread close to this hotel. We love you content hope to see you in the park this summer!
Hi 👋 I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy weekend and a happy Friday 😊. I also hope you have a good evening 🌆 and a happy night 🌉😴.
Nice, thanks for the vid. Seen it a million times but never stayed there. My family and I will almost always stay at the Desert Inn. I'll be there sunday night actually :D I recommend giving that place a try too, if you haven't already.
My family and I always stay at Tropicana Inn for the kitchen.. but this year we tried Fairfield since I work for the Marriott.. but it was Great👍🏽we enjoyed our stay😁
Never stayed there, my go to hotel is Desert Palms Hotel & Suites. Love that hotel, it's cheaper than the other hotels, has a 7 eleven next to it and it's close to where you can walk to Disneyland. If you have a big family, their rooms are also accommodating. Also has a pool and breakfast, I bring my 5 kids and they love it 😊
The Fairfield was perfect for our family on our DL trip in October of '21. It's a really solid "beds and a bathroom" type hotel - with, as noted, a couple of Disney touches. The biggest benefit is indeed the distance to the parks - it's maybe 5-10min from the hotel to the Harbor Blvd crosswalk. The only downside is that there's no actual food service. However, that is mitigated by having Panera and McDonalds close by - the Mimi's Bistro one hotel up is also good if you want a sit down dining option. Otherwise, if you stay in the wing that's perpendicular to Harbor, you can potentially save a few minutes in the morning by leaving through the staircase at the far end, rather than backtrack to the lobby elevators. I assume the other wing has one as well (as a safety exit, at least), but I don't know if it's as much of a time saver as the one by our room was. Also, coming back you'll need to enter through the lobby entrance - but by then you'll probably want the elevators anyway...
we like the fairfield but have found that the prices are typically better at the tropicana inn/camelot inn (same company) so we tend to stay there. and they’re closer!
Thanks for the wonderful tour of the hotel 🏨 and to me it looked like basic hotel 🏨 with some wonderful offerings as you pointed out, now I was wondering if that particular hotel has its own restaurant or some kinda place to get food items like breakfast, lunch and dinner, now another thing I thought looked quite nice was the pool and hot tub but for me what made the pool so nice was the beautiful palm trees 🌴 and I can’t forget that the hotel is just a hop skip and a jump away from Disneyland how cool is that, well thanks again Chris for another wonderful video, now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Chris Amanda and Miles and I’ll see you on the next PPP vlog adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️
One thing I'm always wanting whenever I go to a hotel is clean sheets and pillows, floor and tub/shower. No hair, dirt, dust, rust, or just an unclean and icky feeling.
That McDonald's next door is one of those McDonald's where they don't have counter service unless you get cranky with them and get them to give in. That Panera also next door is really nice- big, a lot of families, friends socializing and not alot of no life loners with laptops and @#$!. Also both those places you can probably sneakily park your car there (alot of spaces and no security guards watching) and save yourself $30 parking in the Disney parking building.
My daughter and I stayed there earlier this year and it was great. Walked to the parks every day and the staff was so darn friendly. Rained and was cold the entire time we were there. On night, we looked like frozen wet cats when we came in and the gentleman at the front desk rushed over to us with hand warmers for our pockets. Will 100% stay there on our next visit. GOT food poisoning one night from the IHOP over there. WON'T be going there!
I cannot more strongly disagree with you not hearing your neighbors. I could hear every word of every conversation. Stayed there March 2024. Just awful. But everything else about the hotel is great. You just have to be able to sleep through action movie noise if your neighbors keep the TV on all night. 😡
Worse hotel EVER! They don't like or treat black people well and their cleaning staff steals from rooms. So, if you're Caucasian its a fine place to stay. If you stay there, at least get a security camera to watch your room and inform the desk staff that they're going to be watched. Will NEVER stay there again. And I've stayed at most of the Harbor blvd hotels withing a block of the park except HoJo's (just missed out on that one.
@@thedrunkenfish5855 Because before I put anything down as such and not just bad service, I pretend to leave and then discreetly go back and watch other interactions for others to see and sometimes hear what happens and how they happen.

Oh I love when places have no carpet. So much cleaner. 👍🏼
Their little store is super cute! Love the historical photos.❤

I’ve stayed there twice.. once with my husband and once just me and my daughter. Very convenient, nice and clean, safe. ✔️

Love these indepth hotel videos. They are helpful. DL I on my bucket list so this is helpful to know where to stay.
I stay at the Fairfield Inn on the time whenever I go to Disneyland and it’s really good hotel

Awesome information as usual. Thanks for sharing!

We just stayed there last month. It was so Awesome to walk right across the street to Disneyland.
No goofy signing during the end card. Miss that! Thanks Chris!
We stayed there a couple of years ago. Nice place.
I always stay there. I even stayed there as a child, when it first opened and it was the Ramada Maingate.

Appreciate these hotel tours. Have a big family trip planned for next year so this helps with possible places to stay.
The old pics of DL being built are very cool.

Thanks for the tour. We are actually going to be staying here Mid-January. Can’t wait!

This is our first choice for hotels since it is so close to entrance and Panera mobile order in the morning.
I'm with you on the socks and shoes and pools😂

Hi Chris you tube channel Love my favorite one fan Big video Love ❤️
My family and I really enjoy staying at the Fairfield
I always pack flip flops for the pool and even around the room... I don't like walking barefoot on the carpet.
This is our go to
Just met you at the slc airport pick up area. Bucket list check. Maybe next time it will be in the park. Thank you for all the great work you do 😀

If possible, could you find out if the assorted resorts hold luggage the days of check-in/check-out? That’s info we’re struggling to find out.

It doesn't have a restaurant onsite but there is a Panera right in front of it.
Stayed there seven years ago and the walk to and from the park was minimal.
Hello from the Colorado River.
One thing I'm always wanting whenever I go to a hotel is clean sheets and pillows, floor and tub/shower. No hair, dirt, dust, rust, or just an unclean and icky feeling.
Can you do a review of the
Home 2 suite by Hilton Anaheim. I'll be there in January
The Home2 is fabulous!! Nice big rooms and a fantastic complimentary hot breakfast.
I booked Desert Inn for Dec 17-21. Can you do a review of it?

Not having pool shoes is the worst. I too have suffered from wet sock syndrome.
You’re an awesome 😎 UA-cam channel.
We love this hotel, but the price has doubled in the last few years beyond what we can afford now. Very disappointed
I will be a diesel in November 4
Do they have free breakfast?
They do not
It’s too bad they don’t have Pizza Hut and Seattles Best coffee on the 3rd floor anymore 😢
32nd
So what kind of price scale are we looking at?
The room is basic if that. No color, nothing modern. It’s well overdue for a re-model. It’s a glorified motel. Proximity is the only perk.
Fridge in the bathroom ?!
