Funny story. One of the boys I use to coach messaged me and asked me to perform a song for his school. Something uplifting he said. So I said ok! I thought it was just gonna be a private event, which it was, but didn’t know they were gonna upload this after. Haha

Phoenix "Unplugged", so to speak. Since he co-wrote this song, he can perform it from the heart. Dave has many talents, whether singing, playing or doing video production.
Wow!!!! A hit from the master himself. I think Dave and Morissette are going to be a force in the music industry. I was so glad when they started their own company. I am as excited by the idea of these two writing songs as I am to hear her sing them. TSR. he is also sitting and playing so I can only imagine where his limit might be. I wonder if he has whistle tones? Nah! that would be asking too much. I just had a thought, what do you think happens with children? That could be a scary, but in a good way, proposition. That is getting over our skis a bit.

They are together because that is where God wants them to be. I don't think either of them could have found a better partner. Besides being a handsome man Dave has that calm in the face of disaster feel about him. I also think he has a fire in him to get Morissette where she is meant to be. It takes a strong personality to keep things level when being with a force of nature such as Morissette.

Dave’s version is very acoustic. Interesting take on this power anthem but it works. His tone is unique as well. Him and Mori have the making of being a power couple. I enjoy his voice.

Hmmm. Did we watch the same thing? I always love Nick’s reactions and how when he hears something he appreciates he tries to sing it. We all do that as singers and that’s what I appreciate about Nick’s reactions is that he appreciates the nuances of someone’s vocal performance. He knows placement and when someone is using a mixed tone in their voice, and all those other details.
So yeah. I appreciate everything you said, but I also appreciate reactors/commentators like Nick who make an effort to put this kind of content out. :)

Great reaction. Dave is a great artist in his own right and I love the soul and blues in his stripped-down version. I love when Mori and Dave sing together. You can see how proud and excited she is when he pulls off a difficult passage. They seem to help each other grow and that's why they make a great couple.

Nick that was a great reaction. Dave was also competing on the Voice Philippines the same year on the same team with coach Sarah. He competed in American Idol a few years later and made it through to Hollywood week. He has alot of great music on his UA-cam channel you can check out including many old and more recent duets with Morissette.

I did not think or know he could sing like that . I've only seen pictures of him here and there but that's about it. But i liked that. Ow come on! Morissette is a power house and it's very hard to find a male singer that can match her voice. BUT Dave is a good singer too. A musician at that and a song writer too 😉
