Point your finger downward so that the acrylic don’t flood your cuticle. And when you go back in to file with the electric file make sure you go around your cuticle after applying the acrylic to seal so you won’t get lifting. Once you see your cuticle, natural nail, and the acrylic you have sealed properly! Also there’s UA-cam to videos on apply acrylic! Your doing great !
Any tips for the gel base coats and Color and top coat to not come out un even and puddled?

I’ve been doing nails for 2months now and I’m starting to work on people and have cool work but am nowhere near ready to really promote on social media. but to each is own I still enjoyed this video I just wanted a comparison to see if anyone else was as trash as me when they first did it 🤣

hey love, if you don’t have the coarse drill bit that you need you can also use a coarse nail file to file off the gel polish
I think this is a great way to beginning to learn to do nails. Starting off doing a fill in. So that’s what I’m going to do, order all the products needed and go get my nails done professionally. You did well tho ❤️
Just know I am not cringing. I want to be a nail tech at 13 yrs old. You got this girl. I believe in you. We always try stuff new anyways. Good job too ! 3 main nail drill bits are the sanding band, extra fine , and extra coarse. The sanding band is to remove the shine. The extra fine is when you go around the cuticle area to seal it after you apply the acrylic , and extra coarse is when you only file a little and use acetone to remove all the acrylic.

You can make your own colored acrylic with pastels or sidewalk chalk. There are some UA-cam tutorials with it. I would love to see a video of you using colored acrylic!! Also you did really amazing on your nails this video

I would definitely recommend a safety bit to start. The mandrel and arbor bands aren’t that bad, but to remove the gel polish you’ll need a coarser arbor band.

For the acrylic you don’t necessarily need a led light because it will dry normally without it too in a time laps of 30 sec and 1 min. 🥰

2:09 to take of Gel nail polish you have to use that all silver drill bit and you need to turn the speed almost all the way up but not so high to where you would thin out your nails

It’s kinda funny to me I was doing nails way before quarantine even tho I’m only 12 so when I was a watching this I kinda cringed at her application method and her filing but for her first time she did really good. The first I did my nails I spent like 90 dollars on the supplies btw I used acrylic. But now I do dip, acrylic, gel, and poly gel nails. Which I’d have to say my favorite is poly gel because it’s easier to do and it doesn’t have a smell
tou can tell just by the 1st minute of the video that shes the type to use her nails for everything like always with the hand movements and stuff like that
