I realized I'm like this girl recently. I don't use guys romantically or anything, but there's so much more to her character than that. She's insecure about herself and being rude or mean or using people makes her feel better about herself somehow. I end up being rude to people then realize they're not actually in the wrong. She realizes she's a bad person yet continues because of how scary change can be, and how hard it is to really take that step.
Some of this is projecting and might not actually connect to the character lol so take it with a grain of salt

the fact that this is not just a song that ties with the pink girl with the idol, but also her ties with the purple hair. the fact that she changed her appearance (shown at 1:44) depicts how that one moment changed her mind set and became who she was in the song. it was because of that mentality that led her self-hatred after all the time she wasted faking out and using the boys as her tools to her liking, which led to the meet up with the purple girl at 2:15 and the phrase "i just want to be like her" and we know that she is quite suicidal and longing for admiration. despite the fact that she wont admit that she is taken an interest in her (what a fcking tsundere), she still step up into purple girl's life (which saves the purple girl from the boys). it is actually an interesting chemistry between someone that fakes out their persona to get admiration and someone that longs for admiration, fake or genuine creates as this song creates. the two may have formed their own friendship along the way and discover their oshi-p in the process, which led up to their own obsessions on "would be nice if you grow up one day" MV.

Edit: Also, i can faintly hear Damonisch, and it might be connected too since the girl in Damonisch was envious of a better life, The girl in this MV is also envious of the Under Kids girl, or envious of having a happy ending.

OMG LESBIANS ARE REAL!?!?!? jokes aside THE MV WAS FANTASTIC!! Viewers won't even NEED the translation to understand the song with this MV. There was also an abundance of artworks of Anhero/Pink Girl & the other characters (all of which are so pfp-able btw), and the song itself?? It somehow sounded BETTER with the visuals and editing.
This song has honestly one of the best MVs of all TUYU, and I plan to rewatch & relisten 'til the day I get tired of it (P.S., that day will never come).
