Thank you for continuing to discover the Jaivas 😍 The drummer is called Juanita, she is the daughter of Gabriel Parra, the original drummer, who died in an accident. Juanita took her position at 19 years old, idol! A hug 😘😘😘

The long wind instrument, with the horn in one end (the rolled one too) are called Trutrukas, a Mapuche instrument. The Mapuche are the only indigenous that the Spanish Empire can't defeat, but today they are stigmatized and historically robbed by the Chilean State.
Amazing reaction, Los Jaivas are a wonderful world of many, many kinds of music. I recommed that you listen Arauco Tiene una Pena, a version (not just a cover, is far more than that) of a song of Violeta Parra, a really wonderful singer and composer

Claudio Parra es un maestro del piano 🛐 Sé que ya te han pedido el tema Corre que te pillo, ojalá fuera la versión de Viña del Mar 1983 donde se puede apreciar el solo de batería de Gabriel Parra.
