The main timeline would be the one where Cell kills Trunks for his time machine because it's from a further future from the others. The threats might be gone unless Goku Black tried destroying that too and there isn't anyone strong enough to beat them while the saiyans are gone too.

This is exactly why i say people dont know what they talking about when it came to the rock music in the dbz movies because often it somehow fit. But for this movie specifically the intensity of these songs was godly given the tone of the movie and what was going on. This song is definitely one of the greatest on the american dbz tracklist

No it's NOT. The main timeline is as we see it. In FUTURE TRUNKS timeline the crew failed and the androids won. Trunks came to the MAIN TIMELINE where we find him. How do you all get this wrong?

DGDNtertainment I think it was put in to emphasize horror, or on this case the Androids. The Android's are horrible beings who kill with absolutely no remorse. The same could be applied to Micheal Myers. That's my take.

I don’t like time travel in dragonballz too inconsistent. The original time line get screwed so trunks goes back in time. He alters the time line by warning them about the androids. He leaves for a year and cell kills the original trunks to travel back in time. So a different trunks comes back to fight with them. So now we have a future cell and a alternative timeline trunks...lol so confusing
It's not that confusing to be honest, this trunks timeline is also alternate timeline, because the main original timeline is from when cell killed trunks to use his time machine, so cell use to go back in time which creates the timeline that we all know now....this altered timeline exist because cell travels back to the past....so technically there's 2 alternate timeline, the timeline we know and follow is because of cell the other is this version from which trunks came from! Put simply Timelime1: cell kills trunks to use his time machine creating the timeline that we follow. Tmeline2 : this version of trunks where he travels back in time which is the one that cell went to. Timeline 3: the one we follow. And other's i'm not gonna touch on because it will blow my head!! If you watch carefully in the DBZ episodes or manga chapters(i clearly forgot) you'll see that trunks found another time machine...that time machine is from the main timeline. I know it sounds confusing but don't blow your head off!!
