i think black swan is a lot harder than people give it credit for, it’s a whole different dance style than what the members (beside jimin) are used to and yoongi has said that it was the one he struggled with the most.

I’d have to agree with Black Swan being number 2 tho because it’s mostly contemporary dance which is very disciplined and very strenuous. That dance mostly uses the core and requires a certain stress of the muscles which makes it insanely difficult
Also, ON definitely deserves that #1 spot because that dance is actually insane. I’m currently learning the choreo and I’ve gone on to be with the lord and gotten sent back like twenty times.
Yeah, I gotta say, the wide leg stance that they do for a large part of the song is gonna get old /real quick/ when you have to do it so much haha. So much of Black Swan's difficulty comes from the poses and the flow of the movements imo, so even if it's less 'flashy' and lower energy than some of the others there's more difficulty and strain. Definitely top 5 imo

Boy With Luv is hard bc of the amount of control and charisma it takes to make it look so effortless. Many groups have covered it and nobody makes it look as easy as Bangtan

PLEASE your obsession with centre jin is so relatable. I'm so so proud of him. He can easily become a dance line member or even the main vocal at this point. And the fact that he only learnt this all after he turned 20 is insane. It's harder to learn from scratch once you're already out of your teenage. I'm so so proud.

You should check out the choreographer who did "Dope", "Fire", "Not Today", &"Blood, Sweat, & Tears". His name is Keone Madrid. He and his wife choreographed & appeared on JB's "Love Yourself". I forgot V's "Singularity".

@@kate35372 There are photos and videos on Twitter and there are videos of Keone dancing the choreos before he sent it to BTS. Someone probably has made a compilation for you to find on UA-cam. They're cute. BTS calling him and his wife teachers and stuff.
@@kate35372 Keone did the choreography with his crew and send the videotaped dance moves to BTS (e.g., he has one video here on UA-cam). Making it all the more impressive for them to learn it. Keone finally got to watch his choreography when they had their concert in Anaheim, CA. He posted pictures with them in his Twitter account.
We all know that spinebreaker (choreographed by legend Kim Seokjin) is the hardest and most impressive BTS dance to date💜🤪

I think the creator didn't focus much on the original choreographies, the Mic Drop in the list was a remix for MAMA performance, and just focused on some parts that are "one hard choreo" like the WAB: Pt. 2 and Boy With Luv's hat trick and kick part, respectively. I would've included Save Me 😭
They left out the floor work they do in Spring Day and the controlled handstands from BST too. Ik they can't include EVERYTHING but sometimes it seems like the creators unintentionally discredit their videos to people who aren't already ARMY.
their bside tracks have some of the most complex choreo but always get left out in these compilation videos
I'm upset that "Let Go" is never included like the choreo was really good in that and yet it's never mentioned, not even in the comments. 😪😭
That probably would be in a easiest to hardest bts contemporary dances this is more for their hip hop style dances

I guess ppl have to realize that the dances are not only called because of its complex dance moves but also because everyone has to be in sync. You have to time yourself right for yourself and others and pick up after any mistakes.
And also you have to look not stiff

For me the hardest dance doesn't only mean complex choreography but also the note you are singing
For example, fake love :--- some people may think that it an easy one but it's not true dancing while singing in high tone is very difficult and also the choreography itself requires smoothness and fluidity
Even there are people who may think that blackswan is not that difficult but if u try it by yourself u may know that it's not easy at all. It's a contemporary form of dance which requires patience and continuous practice

Baepsae is very easy choreo. the only complex part is j-hope's freestyle, but that's not choreography.

Baepsae could beat boy with love any day of the week, those hip thrusts my man are killer, also anpanman should have be number 20 or 19 cause it's harder than go go so is 21st century girl but DNA should have been before BWL for Sure and I agree with Blaze my number 2 is Idol. I would have had Save Me instead of BWL on the list and maybe Baepsae or Anpanman at like 20.
This was cool I love these kind of compliations its interesting to see what people think. BUT War of Hormone, Baepsae, 21st Century girl all rank higher than BWL and GoGo for me. Thank you for a lovely reaction early gang in the house.

BWL is really hard . I personally think it's harder than BLACKSWAN . Also airplane pt2 is missing
boy with luv looks easy but not everyone can do those karate kicks, u need stamina for that. maybe thats the reason
Even with people who can do those moves they're not as smooth as BTS. There is a certain fluidity in them that others can't seem to capture. I've seen many dance covers of Boy With Luv and none of them have that flair that BTS does. It not the moves that are hard but the way the BTS does the moves that is hard.
As a dancer, i can agree with boy with luv being harder than it looks because its about how you present yourself and your stage presence more but there is no way its harder than fire. thats just completely wrong no matter how you look at it.
But i think fire is still harder than that though
No arguments there. Bts has away of making choreo look easy, until you try it and end up kissing the floor or on your butt. They are always smooth and yes fire is much harder than BWL

I also prefer "fire" which is more difficult than" boy with luv". "fire" the difficulty level can also turn you off when dancing 😎
It's just that sometimes it's not because of "vision". like "X music seems to be easier than Y music". Sometimes even the easiest of songs can be one of the most difficult because of the technique used. Because the control of the body for the calmer ones is "easy" they are difficult to control
The dances that come to mind when I think about what the members have said...I can remember them naming Danger, Idol, and On as the hardest for them, either to master or to perform.
I agree....plus Dionysus I think, and in earlier days they would speak about NO being tough I thought?
Honestly, I would put BS&T in the top five. It's similar to On for me in that there are a lot of big movements you have to do quickly and still make it on beat. That expends a lot of energy fast, especially if you don't get it right. I taught myself On and learned BS&T from a video tutorial and let me tell you, pain and frustration! 😭😂 But this was a great video as always! Love that we all have different opinions and perspectives! 💜💜
agree about BS&T...it has a lot of up/down transition and the movements are unlike what they were used to at that point....not to mention they were so perfectly synched. I mean they have a lot of tough ones but it def deserves higher than what they ranked it here imo

Danger should be much higher. Until ON/DNA the guys said it was their hardest choreo from their earlier years. ON is definitely the hardest. People say they're "not doing hard choreo" anymore and I'm just like oop -- 2020.
Idol is so difficult. I remember it had the boys panting and like collapsing to the floor. When they performed it on America's Got Talent you could literally hear how heavy they were breathing at the end of it.

Just my opinion but I think the reason boy with love is so high on here even though it looks simple it's the synchronization that makes this dance extremely hard even though they're easy moves they're hard to synchronize that could be the reason otherwise I completely agree with y'all
Oh don't get me wrong I think the reason they are such excellent dancers besides they're just excellent dancers is their synchronization is is beyond it's just amazing

Boy with luv sometimes gets put so high because it's high impact and fast movement with constant vocally stable singing. I think it's a combo instead of the dance alone being intensely complicated.
I would love to see BTS rank their hardest choreos. Maybe for a Run BTS episode. I would love to see them discuss the different choreographies. I know they've said ON is their hardest to date and they've also mentioned Idol, Dope, and Danger as being hard in the past.

BTS has often said that fake love is even a lot harder than it looks. All the small popping and locking, moving between fast and slow and conveying a lot of emotion. They said while filming ON: Kinetic Manifesto that it was their hardest choreo to date surpasing Idol. I guess "hardest" is on one hand the hardest cardio-wise/which exhaust them the most and on the other hand it's "hardest" as in level of difficulty (expression of emotion, footwork, pace changes, transitions etc.).
