Oh dear... It sounds like you were connecting the button test point to the motor wire cold. This should vibrate when button is pressed and the button light is on. I don't think this causes damage however, I would not recommend finding this out the hard way. If you want to keep the motor, follow the guide I posted in the comments. I've done this mod a decent few times. Modded two for myself and maybe 4 or 5 others.
Use 3 pin switch. black motor to the middle, left to the red motor, right to the test point. So you'll have 2 mode, auto without vibration, manual with vibration. I tend to leave the back cable intact and put the red cable disconnected.
There is a way to do this. Those micro switches he used in the video have two poles. There's the common pole in the middle and two outer poles. The switch is always making contact with one or the other pole. It's probably easier to find in someone else's video. But basically, you want to put the vibrator in series with the second pole of the switch. That way when the switch is not in "auto-throw" mode, it's in vibration mode.
One detail with this mod. You can keep the motor. Keep the three pins and connect button test point to left pin (or whichever is your switch on). Next connect your motor cold wire to right pin (or whichever is your switch off). This wire will have to be extended. It's not too difficult, just have a clamp or something to hold motor wire in place. Next, connect the motor cold pad to center pin. When off, the motor should work and not when on. If motor works when pressing the button with light on, you connected motor wire cold to button test point. Don't do that. Optional, you can remove the speaker because Pikachu sounds like he either has a cold or is dying due to speaker not being directed out. No point in keeping it. My recommendation is to tin the tip of your iron and drag the iron across both points. Don't let the iron touch other components or pads when doing this! When freed, the speaker wires should lift up on their own. The pads can be left tinned as long as the solder between the two pins are not connected to each other or other components. When soldering, it helps to have flux when removing extra solder and use something to capture the smoke or be in a well ventilated area (eg: outside). When de-soldering, be patient, make sure temperature is right, and don't leave the iron on too long if it is not de-soldering. You may damage the board or nearby components if not careful which will result in a non-functional main board or top board. Also be weary when holding the soldering iron above the board when with solder in unnecessary situations. You could drop some solder when using excess amounts and put yourself in a difficult situation to salvage (without the correct equipment and skill). Happy soldering and be safe! *Needed components:* - *1x* Soldering station (Can be cheap however, you want one with temp controls) - *1x* solder fume extractor/absorber (Optional if done outside) - *3x* thin wires (Can be obtained from an old USB cable. They must be very thin and easy to bend) - *1x* Heat resistant tape (Kapton or Polyimide) or substitute with heat shrink. However, the thin wires will make it difficult. Just use the tape, it works. - *_x* hot glue (If you can measure and design a 3D printable bracket for the switch, PLEASE REPLY! I hate condoning the use of hot glue in mods. If controlled, it works however I still hate it. - *1x* switch (Can purchase off of AliExpress. Use the below string to get what you need in the first result. This is what I use. If you use 5MM, you will have to lightly trim and sand down.) AliExpress search: "20Pcs SS12D00 Interruptor on-off mini Slide Switch 3pin 1P2T 2 Position High quality toggle switch Handle length:3MM/4MM/5MM/6MM"

Thought about a 3D printed enclosure for the switch as well too. I don’t own a 3D printer but my friend does. I’ll see if I can work with him and we can get them made!
One other thing. I just wrote a paper on the structure and features of search strings. Do you possibly want it? It was supposed to be a beginners guide, however it turned into a basic lexicographical analysis a important features. It's four pages. XD

Opening and modifying items in the EU and US absolutely does not void warranty. Companies say it does, but it is a myth. It would be a violation of federal law to void a warranty because a tamper seal is broken. And in the EU, it does not void the 6 months guarantee on new items.
Modifying CAN void the warranty. You would have to prove that the modification - both in and of itself as well as the installation of the mod - didn't cause any damage to even begin to have it not void the warranty. But simply opening it? yeah, that doesn't fly in the USA anymore.
if youre going to do it this way, add some flux to the pins before trying to add solder to aid in having the solder flow. Also, if you want to do this correctly, tape the wires to a non flammable surface to hold it in place. then use one hand to hold the solder and another to hold the soldering iron. place the iron on the pin you want to solder and touch your solder to the hot metal to have it melt and flow. letting solder just sit on the iron and then trying to have it scrape off onto the pins is asking for bad solder joints
@@POGObiWann Also, if you want to avoid the issue you were talking about with the individual wires coming apart, tinning your wire (applying solder to the stripped tip before you try to connect it anywhere) will help with this as well as making the solder joints easier to form later. You just need to be mindful of bending the wire close to the end of the tinning as its a possible break point (you are still able to twist them around poles though so no worries there)

Interestingly my go++ worked with great balls on the first day (no mods) but then stopped. Now it also doesn’t believe that I’m using it for Pokémon sleep which I totally am. I still need to try removing it and re-adding it, but I find that super weird Disabling (or dampening),vibration is my most wanted. I don’t use it sometimes when I otherwise would because it’s so loud 🔊
A 3 way switch let's you keep vibration while in normal mode if you wire the 3rd pin to the loose wire via a longer cable. That's what i do and i like my go plus + operation as factory when in normal mode.

I reccomend the 3mm ones as those are the ones I’ve used- the 5mm ones should work too no problem, I recommended the 5mm ones cause the ship time was further back for the 3mm bundles.
I made the mistake of not disconnecting the battery from the Go plus + because another video I watched that person didn’t. Well after watching both it became apparent he is a pro at soldering. And can solder something like this in a very quick manner. I think the prolonged heat fried my battery. Oh well live and learn.

I'm an Electrical Engineering technician for a medical device company. I do mods like this all the time for players in my community (I don't charge 💲I charge Pokemon). It's definitely a mod an amateur can handle but I've had to repair other people's attempts at modding. Proceed at your own risk.

You can swap to greats or ultras in connected devices, but in order to use them, you have to click the button for every time the plus + wants to catch with a great / ultra ball. Installing the wiring and switch allows for ANY ball to be auto- thrown without the need to press the button!
Oddly enough my original pokemon red and blue carts' batteries still haven't died while I've had to replace them on my silver, gold, and sapphire carts.
@POGObiWann I have a 2 copies of Pokemon Stadium 2. So i replace the battery on one of them about every 4-5years and transfer everything over to that cart to save everything from the first 2 gens at least. I haven't tried messing with alternate methods using Pokémon Home though.

I modified a long time ago when it first came out. In order to avoid the prongs touching, heat shrink is better. Also, why break off a prong when it can be used to toggle vibration on and off.

Quite literally though, I just put the switch on the far right side of the speaker port, and the encasing of the battery rests on top of the switch and you screw it back in, holding it in space. i bought a modded one of these on some website and it worked amazing at first then randomly out of nowhere the auto catch with great and ultra balls stopped working and i have no idea why
Buy from best buy put a warranty on it. If you mess it up remove the mods close it return and get another one. Thank you. I upgraded mine awhile ago and I love it now
@@wiktolego it’s all going to boil down to personal preference i suppose! Most of the time, I have my go plus+ set using regular pokeballs. When I run out though, I can switch to greats and not have to click the button! Allows for me to continue farming catches while (hopefully) spinning stops and re-upping on regular Pokeballs! The lights and vibration can be annoying to some. Personally I do not mind the lights much but I am a big fan of this “silent” mode (turning off vibration) since we never got to enable in settings!
@@larss4120 with the original Pokemon Go Plus, and the Pokeball plus - you could zip tie a quarter on the button and they would be “automatic” but for whatever reason, they changed that with the Go Plus+ :(

Okay as someone who has seen a lot of soldering videos and has done soldering once (for joining pipes together), why does no one use flux for their soldering when working on Nintendo mods???
This is a great question that I have received a lot of feedback on, lol. I am super new to soldering- and you’re right. Should be using flux!! If I ever re-do this video, I will be sure to do so.
@POGObiWann yea it's nothing against you personally it's just EVERY mod video I see no one uses flux. For stuff this small, if you need to use a brush to apply it, use a small paintbrush so it doesn't get on parts you don't want.
Can someone explain to me what this does and explain why it's beneficial? Never had one of these, and not exactly sure what it does... Im assuming it catches and spins for you, but from what i can gather with context in the video is maybe when you run out of normal pokeballs you usually have to press a button to use a great/ultra ball? With this it does it for you because its exciting sleep mode over? Why does that actuate it? What if your pokemon storage is full?
Great questions! This mod enables the Pokemon Go Plus + to automatically throw greats and ultras, without the click of a button. Without this, to use greats / ultras with the device, you would have to click the button. Unfortunately, it doesn’t automatically switch to greats / ultras, you have to manually select it in settings, where you would connect it in game. When you complete this mod, you will know it is working if it is exiting sleep mode and entering sleep mode. You would normally enter / exit sleep mode by pressing and holding the button when disconnected from Pokémon go, but this mod makes it so that the button is automatically pressed, resulting in the sleep mode looping process. If Pokemon storage is full, it will not catch. It will attempt to go for things but won’t catch until you transfer.
Can anything we just did stop it from connecting to my phone. The lights work either way the switch position is but for some reason won’t connect to my phone now
@@elijahfarmer8674 It shouldn’t impact pairing to the phone, but if it’s going in and out of sleep, sleep mode prevents it from connecting. If you try and pair it with the device upside down (button facing down) it won’t go into sleep mode. Let me know if that works

Yes, if all steps were followed correctly and the switch is off, it will work just as it did out of the box. If you want it automatic, if you flip the switch it will consistently act as if the button is being pressed resulting in it going back in fourth between sleep mode, or while connected, throwing poke/great/ultra balls

Let me know how it goes!! You can still track sleep with auto turned on- it just has to be plugged in, otherwise it will auto exit sleep and re enter sleep repeatedly until it’s either plugged in or connected to a device.

So Im curious.......are your odds of catching with great and ultra worth this mod? The regular balls chances of catching are low. Im curious if great and ultra chances increase to the point where it would make it worth it. Thank you for the tutorial.
Great question! Greats and ultras do help with catch rate. I typically will have the go plus + use greats and ultras during com days / raid events as they do tend to bring in more catches. For me, I do lots of item runs via car, and end up stocking up on lots of Pokeballs which I toss most of the regular ones to make more room for greats and ultra’s. Since completing this mod, I find it hard using non-modded Go Plus+’s. It is so convenient to use the better pokeball options without the need to click the button. During NY Go Fest, I had ultra’s running all day, as my focus was primarily raiding Necrozma, so I wasn’t doing a ton of manual catching. My go Plus+ using Ultra Balls did catch a lot of pokemon / shinies while I was raiding and unable to hand catch. My one problem I encountered was I ran out of ultras after the first two days, lol. It is very efficient, and can run through balls fast, which I could see as a downside to some. But in my opinion, the convenience of being able to use the better options outweighs the negative of running through them quickly.

The switch is for turning automatic (for great balls and ultra) on and off! On makes it auto- Off makes it how it is factory new - minus vibration! And you can still track sleep no problem with this mod, even if auto is on, or off!
Top LED blinking red usually means that it is SUPER dead and needs a good charge! Once it’s a solid color, that’s how you know it’s getting there. Yellow is moderately charged, and green means it’s full charged! Usually about 20-30 min on a charger gets you to Yellow, but could depend on how long the battery has been depleted for!
How did you secure the switch in place ? Did you use some superglue or something ? I have to be extra carefull when switching on/off as it moves in the pokemon go plus+. I think I'll superglue it in place
I have it carefully placed on top of the speaker- and the plastic shell around the battery helps press it down and keep it in place. You can use superglue / hot glue- personally I’m not a huge fan but that would 100% help with keeping the switch held in place

4 regular? 4 modded? There is a reset button on the back of the go plus+! You might need to press it to try and reset the Plus.. Also, sometimes my main button acts weird and I have to hit the top button before hitting my middle button to connect. You can turn on “auto reconnect” to try and help make it a little easier. Also, when my modded ones are “sleep looping” I either hold them upright so they don’t go into the sleep mode/ flash blue or flip them upside down when pairing! Pokemon go won’t connect when it’s in sleep mode / flashing blue, but will connect when it’s flashing red exiting sleep! Please let me know how it goes and keep me posted!
Good question. Using this method of Mod, When I tried to keep the vibrating motor attached, It went crazy and pretty much would not stop vibrating, lol. There is a post here in the comments from @thecaffee1065 who Is a literal legend and typed out the process and everything that you would need to keep functionality in the comments section of this video! Highly recommend giving it a read if you are looking to maintain the vibrating function!
With this mod, you do not want to re connect the motor wire. There’s a few comments from a user on this video from TheCaffee1065. Literal legend. They go over how you can maintain vibrating functionality if you wish to do so.
It takes from what you have set in the “accessory devices” screen! So if you have pokeball selected- it will only use regular pokeballs. If you select great balls, it will only use great balls. If you select ultra, it will only use ultras. So it can use all 3- but if you want to switch from a pokeball to a great, you have to change which one is selected in settings. Otherwise, it stays on the pokeball you had initially selected until you make a change, even if you run out of the ball you have selected.

@@darksouls3331 yes!! That’s how you know the mod has worked when it is going back and forth. Basically what is happening, is the mod is pressing the button for you. So when it’s disconnected from your device, and going in and out of sleep mode, that’s how you know the mod was successful before you connect.

Not that I am aware of! When you pair a go plus plus to a new device, it has you “reset” it by pressing the pokeball button and the top button, so if you wanted to pair them to another device it resets its connection to the previous device once repaired
@@cut__to__the__chase5283 I usually stick it on the far right side of the speaker port, under the piece of plastic that extends from the enclosure of the battery. It doesn’t hold it perfectly still, but does what I need it to. You can use hot glue to try and set it in place- but personally I am not a huge fan of hot glue.
How does this affect the catch rate "throws per minute"? Do you have to change which balls it throws or does it start with poke then great then ultra as you run out of the other automatically?
Great questions! As for catch rate / throws per minute, it’s gonna depend on how many spawns you have, and which ball you use- so I don’t have any stats to give on those unfortunately! And as for which pokeball is used- you can choose which one you want to use in the “accessory devices” screen. Unfortunately it does not switch automatically when you run out of pokeballs.

If you keep auto on, it will drain the battery faster as it is using power to illuminate the LED’s / Boot into sleep / exit sleep while not plugged in.But if you flip the switch and turn auto off when it is not in use, then no change in battery life, or if you keep it plugged in once disconnected it will not sleep loop. 2. It does still spin stops, and it does not turn off after every throw, thankfully! The blue light then red light is the go Plus + going in and out of sleep mode, which only happens when it’s disconnected from your game and modded. That’s how you know the Mod worked, when it is going back and fourth in and out of sleep mode, as the mod makes the button essentially be pressed non stop. When it’s paired to the game, it allows for Greats and ultras to be used automatically in addition to regular pokeballs, but subsequently when it’s disconnected, it’s still spamming the button, which results in the “sleep looping” Go Plus +’s (even non modded ones) automatically disconnect after about an hour of use, or if it’s got nothing to interact with for an extended period of time. You do have the options to stop spinning, only spin, or only throw, or what ball is thrown. You can change those settings in the “accessory Devices” screen!
@@POGObiWann So I did this mod on Saturday and it worked perfectly until today. Now it is just flashing red in auto mode and manual... Any ideas what is causing it to only flash red. I've shut if off, put it in sleep mode, and started all over.... Still only getting the red flash.
I bought mine and it’s honestly trash. I did the troubleshooting and It just stop working two weeks after I bought it. It doesn’t hold a charge or anything.
@@POGObiWann Honestly, in my opinion, it’s not worth it. It would get stuck in one single Pokémon for a while, or it would get stuck on a gym or pokestop so I just threw it away.

Niantic and the Pokemon company came together to release this device. If they didn’t want people to catch / spin, they would not have created this product.

Opening and modifying items in the EU and US absolutely does not void warranty. Companies say it does, but it is a myth. It would be a violation of federal law to void a warranty because a tamper seal is broken. And in the EU, it does not void the 6 months guarantee on new items.

Modifying CAN void the warranty. You would have to prove that the modification - both in and of itself as well as the installation of the mod - didn't cause any damage to even begin to have it not void the warranty.
But simply opening it? yeah, that doesn't fly in the USA anymore.
if youre going to do it this way, add some flux to the pins before trying to add solder to aid in having the solder flow. Also, if you want to do this correctly, tape the wires to a non flammable surface to hold it in place. then use one hand to hold the solder and another to hold the soldering iron. place the iron on the pin you want to solder and touch your solder to the hot metal to have it melt and flow. letting solder just sit on the iron and then trying to have it scrape off onto the pins is asking for bad solder joints

@@POGObiWann Also, if you want to avoid the issue you were talking about with the individual wires coming apart, tinning your wire (applying solder to the stripped tip before you try to connect it anywhere) will help with this as well as making the solder joints easier to form later. You just need to be mindful of bending the wire close to the end of the tinning as its a possible break point (you are still able to twist them around poles though so no worries there)

Interestingly my go++ worked with great balls on the first day (no mods) but then stopped. Now it also doesn’t believe that I’m using it for Pokémon sleep which I totally am. I still need to try removing it and re-adding it, but I find that super weird

A 3 way switch let's you keep vibration while in normal mode if you wire the 3rd pin to the loose wire via a longer cable. That's what i do and i like my go plus + operation as factory when in normal mode.

I reccomend the 3mm ones as those are the ones I’ve used- the 5mm ones should work too no problem, I recommended the 5mm ones cause the ship time was further back for the 3mm bundles.
I made the mistake of not disconnecting the battery from the Go plus + because another video I watched that person didn’t. Well after watching both it became apparent he is a pro at soldering. And can solder something like this in a very quick manner. I think the prolonged heat fried my battery. Oh well live and learn.

Might be a stupid question, but why cant you just choose Great/Ultra balls in the "connected devices" tab in the pogo-app? Is the switch necessary?

You can swap to greats or ultras in connected devices, but in order to use them, you have to click the button for every time the plus + wants to catch with a great / ultra ball.
Installing the wiring and switch allows for ANY ball to be auto- thrown without the need to press the button!

Oddly enough my original pokemon red and blue carts' batteries still haven't died while I've had to replace them on my silver, gold, and sapphire carts.

@POGObiWann I have a 2 copies of Pokemon Stadium 2. So i replace the battery on one of them about every 4-5years and transfer everything over to that cart to save everything from the first 2 gens at least. I haven't tried messing with alternate methods using Pokémon Home though.

The plus plus will catch with great balls… but it’s few and far between.
I modified a long time ago when it first came out. In order to avoid the prongs touching, heat shrink is better. Also, why break off a prong when it can be used to toggle vibration on and off.

@@KenKai-xq2nr oops!! Quite literally though, I just put the switch on the far right side of the speaker port, and the encasing of the battery rests on top of the switch and you screw it back in, holding it in space.

Most of the time, I have my go plus+ set using regular pokeballs. When I run out though, I can switch to greats and not have to click the button! Allows for me to continue farming catches while (hopefully) spinning stops and re-upping on regular Pokeballs!
The lights and vibration can be annoying to some. Personally I do not mind the lights much but I am a big fan of this “silent” mode (turning off vibration) since we never got to enable in settings!
Is maybe the same effect if you just put a tape one the button? This should be the same effect right? 🙈
@@larss4120 with the original Pokemon Go Plus, and the Pokeball plus - you could zip tie a quarter on the button and they would be “automatic” but for whatever reason, they changed that with the Go Plus+ :(

Okay as someone who has seen a lot of soldering videos and has done soldering once (for joining pipes together), why does no one use flux for their soldering when working on Nintendo mods???

I am super new to soldering- and you’re right. Should be using flux!! If I ever re-do this video, I will be sure to do so.
@POGObiWann yea it's nothing against you personally it's just EVERY mod video I see no one uses flux. For stuff this small, if you need to use a brush to apply it, use a small paintbrush so it doesn't get on parts you don't want.

This mod enables the Pokemon Go Plus + to automatically throw greats and ultras, without the click of a button. Without this, to use greats / ultras with the device, you would have to click the button.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t automatically switch to greats / ultras, you have to manually select it in settings, where you would connect it in game.
When you complete this mod, you will know it is working if it is exiting sleep mode and entering sleep mode. You would normally enter / exit sleep mode by pressing and holding the button when disconnected from Pokémon go, but this mod makes it so that the button is automatically pressed, resulting in the sleep mode looping process.
If Pokemon storage is full, it will not catch. It will attempt to go for things but won’t catch until you transfer.

It shouldn’t impact pairing to the phone, but if it’s going in and out of sleep, sleep mode prevents it from connecting.
If you try and pair it with the device upside down (button facing down) it won’t go into sleep mode. Let me know if that works

Yes, if all steps were followed correctly and the switch is off, it will work just as it did out of the box.
If you want it automatic, if you flip the switch it will consistently act as if the button is being pressed resulting in it going back in fourth between sleep mode, or while connected, throwing poke/great/ultra balls

You can still track sleep with auto turned on- it just has to be plugged in, otherwise it will auto exit sleep and re enter sleep repeatedly until it’s either plugged in or connected to a device.

Greats and ultras do help with catch rate. I typically will have the go plus + use greats and ultras during com days / raid events as they do tend to bring in more catches.
For me, I do lots of item runs via car, and end up stocking up on lots of Pokeballs which I toss most of the regular ones to make more room for greats and ultra’s.
Since completing this mod, I find it hard using non-modded Go Plus+’s. It is so convenient to use the better pokeball options without the need to click the button.
During NY Go Fest, I had ultra’s running all day, as my focus was primarily raiding Necrozma, so I wasn’t doing a ton of manual catching. My go Plus+ using Ultra Balls did catch a lot of pokemon / shinies while I was raiding and unable to hand catch.
My one problem I encountered was I ran out of ultras after the first two days, lol. It is very efficient, and can run through balls fast, which I could see as a downside to some.
But in my opinion, the convenience of being able to use the better options outweighs the negative of running through them quickly.

Yo dude, how long do you usually fully charged this when the top button blinks red 3 times that would not harm the device
Top LED blinking red usually means that it is SUPER dead and needs a good charge!
Once it’s a solid color, that’s how you know it’s getting there. Yellow is moderately charged, and green means it’s full charged!
Usually about 20-30 min on a charger gets you to Yellow, but could depend on how long the battery has been depleted for!
How did you secure the switch in place ? Did you use some superglue or something ? I have to be extra carefull when switching on/off as it moves in the pokemon go plus+. I think I'll superglue it in place
I have it carefully placed on top of the speaker- and the plastic shell around the battery helps press it down and keep it in place. You can use superglue / hot glue- personally I’m not a huge fan but that would 100% help with keeping the switch held in place

There is a reset button on the back of the go plus+! You might need to press it to try and reset the Plus.. Also, sometimes my main button acts weird and I have to hit the top button before hitting my middle button to connect. You can turn on “auto reconnect” to try and help make it a little easier.
Also, when my modded ones are “sleep looping” I either hold them upright so they don’t go into the sleep mode/ flash blue or flip them upside down when pairing! Pokemon go won’t connect when it’s in sleep mode / flashing blue, but will connect when it’s flashing red exiting sleep! Please let me know how it goes and keep me posted!

Good question. Using this method of Mod, When I tried to keep the vibrating motor attached, It went crazy and pretty much would not stop vibrating, lol.

With this mod, you do not want to re connect the motor wire. There’s a few comments from a user on this video from TheCaffee1065. Literal legend. They go over how you can maintain vibrating functionality if you wish to do so.

It takes from what you have set in the “accessory devices” screen!
So if you have pokeball selected- it will only use regular pokeballs.
If you select great balls, it will only use great balls.
If you select ultra, it will only use ultras.
So it can use all 3- but if you want to switch from a pokeball to a great, you have to change which one is selected in settings. Otherwise, it stays on the pokeball you had initially selected until you make a change, even if you run out of the ball you have selected.

@@darksouls3331 yes!! That’s how you know the mod has worked when it is going back and forth.
Basically what is happening, is the mod is pressing the button for you. So when it’s disconnected from your device, and going in and out of sleep mode, that’s how you know the mod was successful before you connect.

Not that I am aware of! When you pair a go plus plus to a new device, it has you “reset” it by pressing the pokeball button and the top button, so if you wanted to pair them to another device it resets its connection to the previous device once repaired

@@cut__to__the__chase5283 I usually stick it on the far right side of the speaker port, under the piece of plastic that extends from the enclosure of the battery. It doesn’t hold it perfectly still, but does what I need it to. You can use hot glue to try and set it in place- but personally I am not a huge fan of hot glue.

As for catch rate / throws per minute, it’s gonna depend on how many spawns you have, and which ball you use- so I don’t have any stats to give on those unfortunately!
And as for which pokeball is used- you can choose which one you want to use in the “accessory devices” screen. Unfortunately it does not switch automatically when you run out of pokeballs.

1.
If you keep auto on, it will drain the battery faster as it is using power to illuminate the LED’s / Boot into sleep / exit sleep while not plugged in.But if you flip the switch and turn auto off when it is not in use, then no change in battery life, or if you keep it plugged in once disconnected it will not sleep loop.
2. It does still spin stops, and it does not turn off after every throw, thankfully!
The blue light then red light is the go Plus + going in and out of sleep mode, which only happens when it’s disconnected from your game and modded. That’s how you know the Mod worked, when it is going back and fourth in and out of sleep mode, as the mod makes the button essentially be pressed non stop. When it’s paired to the game, it allows for Greats and ultras to be used automatically in addition to regular pokeballs, but subsequently when it’s disconnected, it’s still spamming the button, which results in the “sleep looping”
Go Plus +’s (even non modded ones) automatically disconnect after about an hour of use, or if it’s got nothing to interact with for an extended period of time.
You do have the options to stop spinning, only spin, or only throw, or what ball is thrown. You can change those settings in the “accessory Devices” screen!

@@POGObiWann So I did this mod on Saturday and it worked perfectly until today. Now it is just flashing red in auto mode and manual... Any ideas what is causing it to only flash red. I've shut if off, put it in sleep mode, and started all over.... Still only getting the red flash.

I bought mine and it’s honestly trash. I did the troubleshooting and It just stop working two weeks after I bought it. It doesn’t hold a charge or anything.
Have you considered replacing the battery? It does use the same battery as Nintendo switch Joycons!
@@POGObiWann Honestly, in my opinion, it’s not worth it. It would get stuck in one single Pokémon for a while, or it would get stuck on a gym or pokestop so I just threw it away.

@@RespireUnlimited you can use greats and ultra balls, but you have to click the button whenever you want to catch, unless you preform the mod.

Doing raids far away from you + device that auto catches and auto spin for you. This is paying to cheat lol.
Niantic and the Pokemon company came together to release this device. If they didn’t want people to catch / spin, they would not have created this product.

You should do a quick tutorial too on how to disable the light cuz the damn thing is too bright.
