the length of the video doesn't bother me. I just jump ahead if i don't have time or save it to a folder to watch later. I just love all your videos. Your style is amazing. I will admit I tend to click on videos by the picture of the finished product. If I like the posted picture then i'll watch the video.

I was sure I liked the first one best UNTIL you held them up together! The last card is beautiful. I love the no-line water coloring. It's SO, so elegant. I could watch you watercolor all day! You always have great tips and it's interesting to watch the design come together. By the way, you have the best laugh! What a hoot!

I always enjoy watching you color with copics, ink blend/shade with various brushes and inks, or watercolor, and the length really doesn't bother me. I can skip ahead if I'm pressed for time. I always learn something so it's time well spent. However, I'm much more interested in, say, florals, birds or teapots than I am in sea life so I tend to skip those. I would probably be interested in a beach scene, though. But those people who love sea life were really lucky to get to enjoy that video so I hope you'll continue to color a variety of subjects you love. Your audience will manage to find something to watch, maybe not every time, but almost.

I love your videos and am always sad when they end, so the longer they are, the happier I am :-) However, I find it more mesmerizing to watch watercolor painting than Copics being used. Everything I know about watercolor I learned from your videos, so I fully credit you for making me try, and enjoy, watercoloring. You have no idea how many blissful hours spent with a paintbrush I owe to you! Thank you!!!

Where you have an image not stamped completely, you can ‘draw it in’ using a white gel pen when it’s completely dry, and quickly heat emboss it, to ‘rescue’ it!
I love every single one of your videos! I don’t mind how long they are! I wait eagerly for every one. I haven’t seen the octopus one, I was away overseas with no Internet, but will play catch up now I’m home.

Wow, all three of these cards are beautiful. Thanks for being a great teacher. The length of video doesn't bother me. My husband has cancer and I'm working two jobs in order to make ends meet, so for me it's just having the time to watch a longer video, which just means that I will watch a liitle at a time instead of all at once. I'm not lying when I say my crafty time is what is keeping me sane right now, lol. And your videos (no matter the length) are helping me do that. Copic coloring or water coloring, I love it all.

    Hi Dawn,
Personally, I don’t have Copics so I tend to not watch videos displaying them unless you or Kelly do a technique I’m interested in then I’ll watch. This video is very informative. TYFS. As long as the video is informative and I’m learning the length doesn’t bother me. I do not like rushed through videos. On weekends when I want to do recaps I’ll usually put you or Kelly on and binge all weekend.

Longer the better! Love the details on ALL your techniques. If I’m short on time, will either watch in smaller patches or save it for when I hot wax my hands (daily for RA) I am sitting then for 1 1/2 hours - sort of a “captive” viewer! 🥰. I think the embossed slim line one is my fav. ❤️

I really enjoyed this video. I love to water color and usually go for the wet on wet technique because it’s easier for me. I would love to master the no line technique!! I think yours is gorgeous in this video.
I very much appreciated all of your insight on this video and the three comparisons were very helpful. Thank you! Now I’m going to watch the octopus video - because I also love to color with my copics 😁

Gosh, Dawn, these are absolutely stunning!! I love them all! I also tend to watch videos based upon the initial picture/clip shown, octopus or something I’m not into, so I didn’t click on that one and watch it, had absolutely nothing to do with the length of the video.

I enjoy all your videos. I don’t do alcohol markers so I stopped watching the octopus midstream since I wasn’t sure I would color an octopus and I knew I wouldn’t be using Copics anytime soon (plus everyone uses Copics so I tend to gravitate to videos that use other coloring media and techniques. I am attempting to learn more about watercolor and love your teaching style since you explain beyond what you are doing at the moment.

Hey Dawn - you asked about why we didn't watch the Comic coloring octopus video. I don't think that one popped up for me on my feed. I am subscribed to your channel and I watch every video you put out. I feel like maybe I just didn't see it. You are an excellent teacher and I find great value all of your videos so not sure why that video in particular was not watched as well. Thanks for all of your content. :)

I personally don't mind a long video. I'm new to a lot of coloring methods and I prefer to have a more in-depth instructional video. Okay, question about this video. For the no-line watercolor, you used water-reactive ink for the stamped image. I don't remember, but did you heat set it so the color would not wash away with your watercoloring? By the way, they all came out gorgeous, but the third one is simply stunning.

I enjoy both Copic and watercolor tutorials you do. Typically video length is not a deterrent unless it goes beyond an hour or so then I get itchy to watch something else. I haven’t watched the octopus video because the stamp set doesn’t really appeal to me.
