Girl! I could hear Jennifer McGuire scream from here- "Why didn't I think of that?!!!" Great job! You have become one of my favorite designers. So creative!
Stacking those circles up so you can cut them in half and have the halves match is brilliant. It's definitely helpful for those of us who AREN'T precise! lol
I believe you're genius!!! What a great use of Press'N Seal. Because I don't spend much time in the kitchen, I might as well use Press'n Seal in my craft space where it really WILL be useful!! These cards are GREAT! I appreciate the fact you "hurt your brain" so I don't have to! That's just awesome! TFS so many fun card ideas and Press'N Seal tips! (Your ring is to die for! Beautiful!)
Squealllllll….you have just changed my frame-making life!!! It’s a double win- I discovered your channel today for the first time watching the demo on the Better Press and now, the biggest bonus is this handy use of a craft room staple - virtual crafty hugs to you!!!
I love rainbows, HATE geometrics, but holy cow Dawn now I want to make all the cards 😁 I am totally a "I ain't got time for that, let's just jump in and eye ball it" kinda gal, but in the same way as you 'cause I would have measured too, haha. Unfortunately, indecision is my middle name for pretty much everything I do, drives hubby nuts! Jennifer's husband better still be getting kudos for Press n Seal!!! Thanks for continuing to share your experiences and amazingly talented eye!!
Hi Dawn, I’ve been making cards since 2008 and I still learn things when I watch your videos you’re so knowledgeable and you are such a good teacher and your cards are absolutely beautiful❤
I love these lightbulb moments! I store my nesting dies on press N seal, but it had not occurred to me to use the wrap for die cutting! My ding dong self takes them off the press N seal and washi-tapes them into place to run through the machine! Duh! Thank you for this gem technique! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Woohoo! What a great lesson!! These creations are awesome! The leftover pieces circle card looks less hard on the thinker...😂 press'n seal is such a gem!! Thanks for helping me see more wats to incorporate it! That last card though... watermelon rainbow perfection!😊
I’m with you Dawn!! Much more of a “wing it, eye-baller” kind of person. Though I love the circle in square card…ugh, I just think I’d go bonkers setting it up!! 🥴. Great job and fantastic tips!!
So the first card you did with all the circles with the rainbows? All those circles stuck together. Remind me of the Fisher price record player that we all had as little kids back in the 70s.
I found this video by accident and am I ever glad I watched it. So much good information packed in here. I liked it so much that i subscribed. Thanks for sharing.
Your cards turned out great! Just hearing talk about the kind of crafter you are we could be twins! I’m getting such a kick watching your videos. Glad I discovered you today.
Great video! I really almost didn’t watch it because I had seen so many videos rehashing press n seal tips. Thank you. I adore your crafting process of close is good enough and picking a style design that works for that. Thank you for sharing
One of the best video's for a hack on cutting multiples! Outstanding. There are so many uses for Press'N Seal. I got to have that product in my home. Thank You!
WOW!!👍👍What a Great idea. This will save my mind. I like everything to be perfect, just can't help myself, OCD kicks in. This will save sooo much time in cutting multiples of anything. Love the press n' seal. I use it to with cutting pieces of vinyl on my cricut. Thanks so much for Sharing this.Sooo glad I watched this video. Great job. Can't wait to getting g cutting out so shapes..❤
THIS is craft-changing! Thank you so much for thinking of this! The moving dies and temporary tape issues have been the bane of my life 😂 Love your videos and voice overs! Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
This is a great idea. If you used them for records, I would cut the largest corresponding circle (probably from another set so as not to disturb the original, and glue them to the back for more stability
Love your style and close enough is good for me too. It seems the more I try to make something precise, the less likely it will be. I’ve never run across one of your videos before so chalk one up to UA-cam recommendations. I’m now a subscriber and will follow from now on. Thanks for a great hack for Press n Seal too!
Dude! Wow! Amazing. And the cards you made left me speechless. I didn’t know if there was another person like me that is an “ish” and indecisive. Really! Thank you so much!
I am in your camp of Close Enough! Great press n seal hacks! I use unscented dryer sheets under some of my dies when running through the machine if I want to color some pieces then put back together. Holds the pieces in place if one is careful.
Loved them all! Press N Seal for the win!! With your first card, I saw the vinyl albums but was more concerned about what you're going to do with all of your arcs. You can get 2 rainbows in order doing this. I simply cannot get myself to do a rainbow out of order so I'd have to figure out some geometric designs for the leftover and "hurt my brain"! With your last card I just kept picturing watermelon slices 🍉 . As soon as my coffee kicks in I'm heading to the craft room to make some watermelon cards for the 4th of July/ thank you's for the outpouring of love and support I received after a recent hospital stay. Thanks so much.
This was very helpful, thank you! I have been cardmaking for 25+ years, but press n seal is a new tool for me; obviously, I have not learned all its useful properties yet 😁
This is awesome! I am a close enough creator as well! I steer away from geometric designs for that reason but I love the look! This saves the day! Your cards are beautiful! 🥰
Cool ideas! And I really like the designs, too. When I saw the thumbnail, I did think of Laura Bassen, actually... "rainbows"! Luckily, I did order some Press'n Seal from SSS after Jennifer McGuire had mentioned the story behind it, since I couldn't get it anywhere else here in Germany. - Thank you for sharing! 😍😘
T.Y. I’ve used Press & Seal for so many things that are not kitchen related & die cuts, of course & even in collage. BUT, cant believe I never tried it on dies. Great video.
Wow! This is awesome how do you guys come up with these great techniques? Love it! And I thought I was the only person to cut my fingers on tin foil, glad to hear I am not the only one, lol!!
You’re amazing Dawn!!! ❤. Your cards are stunning and this is a genius hack! 💕😊. I’d love to try this for rainbows but I’m not sure I have the patience for those geometric cards, gorgeous as they are. 😉
Girl! I could hear Jennifer McGuire scream from here- "Why didn't I think of that?!!!" Great job! You have become one of my favorite designers. So creative!
Me too!!!😂
The irony...Jennifer's husband invented press-n-seal.
@@jenpope9786 I know 😂 And Jennifer makes good use of it too! But this trick...Wow!
@@jenpope9786 Really??
Dawn is awesome!
All hail the PRESS AND SEAL QUEEN !!!
I can say I would add you to the list of being-precise-perfectionists along with CZ and Laura Bassen👍 Beautiful cards👏
Love that, “The Close Enough Girl” 👍🏻 A lady after my own heart 🩷🐨🌺
Stacking those circles up so you can cut them in half and have the halves match is brilliant. It's definitely helpful for those of us who AREN'T precise! lol
Amazing cards!!! What a patience you have 😮😅
