Sorry to hear the news of the new build. As you guys have already done the hard part of the build. Now the developer is going to hire few cowboy builder on cheap pay to finish off. Hope you guys have got paid and not scammed like last time when you and Mr A did some work.
Nice to see you back and great tips. Sad we wont see the finish of the last project but you’ve made right decision. Onwards and upwards. Bet Mrs didn’t leave a diagram where the vac is! Stay well Darren.
glad you've moved on from that job, next one will be better. I'm a landlord and had to fix handrails, i would have drilled in 80mm push in 2 plugs per hole and buy 75mm longer screws. often a 40mm plug is mostly in plaster and the fixing will fail again, best regards
Great tip Darren thanks. Sorry to hear things went sour on the new build but at least you're out of it now. Hope to maybe see the team back on the cowboy build in the near future?
Good to see you back online. To be honest, i was looking forward to seeing you and your team finish the last big project. Im sure you have made the right decision. Did you Lose money doing this project, did you break even?
Little tip Darren, get yourself an envelope with a V tab, open up the envelope a little then tape the V of the envelope to the wall underneath of where you want to drill, and all the waste will fall into the envelope, no need for hoovering then, work smarter not harder😜👍 hope it helps, try it next time 👍
Thanks for the tips. If the whole has become really crumbly and it just won't hold regardless of how many shims you put in, is there any substance you can put in there to act like cement? I'm hoping there's something you can buy in a tube, put it in, followed by the plug and then leave it for a while to set? Living in an old victorian terrace, this has happened to me a few times, including with my wall hung headboard which the kids have ripped off on more than one occasion.
Love this video. New thing learnt about the shims. Now I'll save a couple of old wall plugs. ❤

Excellent, thanks for sharing tips, liked 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome back. Thank you so much for showing that tip. Now I know how to easily fix the loose screws holding up my curtain rods.

Welcome back Darren, I was missing my daily fix of you and your Crew.💪🇩🇲
Knowing what it's like having older kids in the house. I suggest coach bolts going through to the outside wall. 😂

I’ve used a hot glue gun to fill in holes in crumbly walls for a coat hook and a handrail. Works perfectly and is very secure.

How about the same situation in a hollow wall, again have to use the same size screw because of the fixure.
Darren what happen to the cowboy rebuild ?
Glad you guys moved on
Your daughter will soon loosen that handrail Darren, no reflection on your work, you always do quality work, 😢
You best get the hoover out before the Mrs gets home 😂
Please make sure you vacuum before Mrs gets back
Or there will be no more videos
Oi Darren, get the vacuum out!
And the carpet shampoo 😂
