Thank you so much man I couldn't hear anything from my left bud for months until I decided to search up how to fix it fixed it right away with your vid thanks
They actually sound incredible and have way more features than airpods the only prob was when u sweat they pop out but the sound and ANC is better than Airpods.
That's funny that you say that my earbuds disappeared over a month ago to only find out I left them in my backpack so glad I found them after over a month😅🤣😂
Dude... that's nothing with time the dirty goes way deeper than that... if you want to help make a video taking of that crome grid where the real s$##t will be
I read an article awhile ago that mentioned using Blu Tack to clear out the speakers/mesh of different devices including earbuds…basically you need to push it in and out of the mesh quickly (sort of like blotting a fabric with a damp cloth to get a stain out) to not get the blu tack stuck in the earbud. It could be a good last resort to fixing the earbuds, but since I’m not a professional I would recommend you doing a search online to see what you think about the option.
Had problems with the right earbud and finally decided to take action. This video helped me to really improve the audio of the right. I think it might be back completely. Thank you
So you actually swipe them and no need to actually clean them at all? I cannot believe that Samsung doesn't recommend to clean ( with alcohol) your ear buds and especially the silicon parts.
Sooo....mine fell out of my ears today while I was on the lawn mower trying to rock it back and forth because I had gotten stuck in low lying mud spot. I managed to find both buds, but they're pretty dirty. I'm thinking I might use a somewhat damp cloth for my right one that fell directly in the mud. Luckily the other one just fell onto the deck of the lawn mower blade so its not as dirty...
You should probably drain the battery from the buds before going near them with a wet cloth, though. And make sure they dry really well before putting them to charge again. You don't want to accidentally short circuit them.
I wouldnt even bother with this. Just get any kind of vinyl sticker, press it tightly on the speaker mesh and scratch your fingernail over it to get the sticky down in the mesh and pull away. You can see little dirt circles. Repeat till no more dirt circles. Back to 100% clarity
great video on everything you should NOT do when cleaning your buds. You are pushing debris INTO your wire mesh & the interior filter. You should use suction to keep any debris from going INTO the mesh & more so, the inner filter!
To really restore sound to new condition I took the buds apart to get behind the tiny mesh. Sound gets distorted from wax build up between the mesh and speaker face.
just use dry wipe, or cotton swap, maybe a UV LAMP that kill bacterias if u are concerned about ear infection...............since manufacture suggest to not use any alcohol or soap........
Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me a lot with the Galaxy Buds 2 since when using one of them you couldn't hear it and it beeped thinking it was broken but I cleaned them and they worked, thank you very much
I use sanitizer to clean my Buds 2 I dip cotton buds in Sanitizer but not much then I gently clean the box and buds And my buds are all good and working Just do it gently and don't overuse the alcohol that's it
Do not follow this video! Ruined my headphones trying this method. Now my right earbud is no longer working. My left earbud will no longer hold a charge. Not sure why any of this changed, but worst choice was following this video.
A few months ago, I got the Galaxy Buds 2; like about a week (maybe 2 weeks) later, there were some problems with the charging contacts, cleaned them with exactly what you used in this video. I've been cleaning them at least once a week ever since.
I cleaned my silicone things carefully like i always did regularly and on those they ripped immediately They said it's not included in the warranty.. Don't have replacements to buy either So i bought 100 pcs from AliExpress Gonna move on from Samsung soon
False! You can use water. Just don't dip it in water. The earbuds are water resistant not water proof. Therefore, it can handle little water. Just don't dip it in water. Notice: WATCH OUT FOR THE MICROPHONE HOLE If you get water inside the speakers, it takes 1 week to heal (even if you dip it, inside water). Please make sure it's inside the case for a week so the heat and remove the water. I have tested it and it worked. Works for: Galaxy Buds, Buds+, Buds Pro
Hi...my right ear bud pro ,using only 1 bud for 5 months incoming calls they cannot hear me talk ,sound like a mile away ,I am sure the mic is blocked with wax ,how to clean Now I using the left side bud perfect
Some alterations to what tools he used could be instead of blowing away debris and most likely spitting everywhere you could use a can of compressed air or just use a phone screen cloth to wipe the gunk away
Dude i cant thank you enough. My left bud has been fkt for months, my kid had them as a gift, said they were busted and bought a new pair. I took the old ones. Ive done qtips, microfiber, cloth towels; all with and without isopropyl. It all worked. Only a tiny little bit. But it never once occured to me to just blas it with canned air. Now my left bud is functioning great! Tysm and have a great rest of your life!
There is only one way I know of but it voids warranty so if you don't wanna do that then maybe it's best to do some research somewhere else. If you're curious lemme know.
Hell, I was leaving the ear wax to create a good seal.🤣
Tbh im not even disgusted
ahhahahahahhHAHAHAH BEST COMMENT EVER (kind of nasty tho haha)
🤣🤣
Thank you so much man I couldn't hear anything from my left bud for months until I decided to search up how to fix it fixed it right away with your vid thanks
so, you're just pushing wax thru the mesh which will continue to distort the quality of your buds. crappy design and crappy diy!
In comparison to like airpods you can repair galaxy buds....
They actually sound incredible and have way more features than airpods the only prob was when u sweat they pop out but the sound and ANC is better than Airpods.
There is a way to clean them. You have to pop over the silver grill over the speaker and clean them properly. Not sure what this guy is doing really.
Since the mesh sits outside of your ear how could there be ear wax to push into it ! You sound like you’re a Apple earbuds fan boy !
Trust me. Earwax gets around.
Just on time after finding my buds today since disappearing months ago !!
That's funny that you say that my earbuds disappeared over a month ago to only find out I left them in my backpack so glad I found them after over a month😅🤣😂

Great. Not only I have wet ear buds now, but I also didn't make any difference with the problem since its clogged INSIDE the mesh canal

Great Video Greg. That's how I clean all of my Buds, both the OG's & The +'s!
So you actually swipe them and no need to actually clean them at all? I cannot believe that Samsung doesn't recommend to clean ( with alcohol) your ear buds and especially the silicon parts.
@GregglesTV does the mesh on ear tips come off from cleaning them?
Take the silver mesh part off. A box knife or very thin piece of metal will pry it up. Be very careful
It's like those razor commericals where they shave waxed legs

This still doesnt help get the earwax out of the mesh
I'm here because I got an ear infection after putting on my dirty as heck earbuds.
The mesh part is so hard to clean!!!
To really restore sound to new condition I took the buds apart to get behind the tiny mesh. Sound gets distorted from wax build up between the mesh and speaker face.
How do I clean it when it turned a bit yellow?
One at the time who the hell takes two one time
Are you guys serious? He just wiped the buds and blowed on it a the end how is that helpful?
One of mine I can barely hear out of
Appreciate you man! Keep up the good work
just use dry wipe, or cotton swap, maybe a UV LAMP that kill bacterias if u are concerned about ear infection...............since manufacture suggest to not use any alcohol or soap........
Well that's good bc this stuff isn't alcohol nor is it soap 😅

how do you restick the mesh?
The mesh!? Oh no
💀
Well a dry clean isn't going to get rid of the waxy smell is it 🤢
Ew
I used a baby wipe wiped it clean and dryed it with a paper towel

Cloth colour has to match the buds colour?
Yes
Thanks for the info bud
I use them at work and got metal dust in the charging port,, magnet keeps it in. Cant get it out and the charging cable wont go in :(

@@BloodHound-ld2egi did this too but i was wondering if your buds still ok and sounds still the same as new?
False!

You are crazy
I wouldn't recommend using lots of liquids but you can definitely use liquids in small a quantity. You definitely won't get much out of a dry clean.

how often should I clean the buds?
Depends on usage if you use them daily I'd say every 2 weeks to a month and if you use them like once a week ot less I'd say every 1 to 3 months

I got my galaxy pro on Thursday. I like’em
How do i clean galaxy buds box There is a lot of dust and dirt sticking to it from the outside that I could not clean
you can just use your nails or something hard to scrape it off, not the cleanest way (wash your hands after ofc) but certainly the least risky
@iexity_2916 Thank you so much 😊❤️
I was Gifted 2nd hands one but Mine are sticky how do I clean them?
Thank you Greg's much appreciated 🙏😊👍
