  • The adventure of snow kiting for the first time... It was awesome!
If you have been wondering if you should try snow kiting, you should. It was all new to us... We used our Kitesurfing kites, plus our snowboards, and headed out to a frozen lake in Canada!
Once set up, Snow kiting was surprisingly easy to get up and going, the wind was light but pulled along the snow much easier than in the water and with some fresh snow on the ground, tacking around we simple.
Snow kiting was heaps of fun, thanks for watching, remember to subscribe and we'll see you in the next video.

Bravo Frances & Luke! Glad you enjoyed! For a beginner like me, Yes I think it's the easiest way to start. I took a lesson on snow in December and after only 20 minutes, I was going around. Funny part I was dragging my instructor few feet behind me. I just couldn't believe how easy it's been, compare with the 5 hours lessons I took on water, where I struggle and took few cups of tea. Hope you enjoy your trip in Canada. Thanks for your videos, it's been helping me a lot. Your the best!

Could I ask you to share where you make your videos from? Canada is a big place.

Nice! Safety tip: Never use snowmobile tracks to evaluate ice thickness, snowmobiles distribute weight much better that a person on foot, and a snowmobiler do not care is the ice is strong enough or even if there is ice at all since the snowmobile rides easily on black water ;)

We primarily kite on frozen lakes so it was nice to see you wetlanders get some frost on your cheeks! Isn't it nice to have all that space to launch/land? Cheers!

I see you using a water kite on the snow, would you recommend that?
