Is the there a mistake at the end? After the seam allowances the total should be 15x21cm but you have 15x19cm. Did I add things up wrong? Am i going crazy?😅
You are correct! It should be 21cm not 19cm 😱 I can't believe I missed that and I'm glad so you caught it! Sorry for the confusion 😅 Sadly I can't fix it it in the video without re-uploading, but I'll add it in the description.
I never thought I'd like it as much as I do! It felt like a gadget, because you could make one from cardboard, but I ended up using it for so many projects :)
Just discovered your channel and l subscribed 😊 Fun fact, l am French and in France we are speaking of English seams 😅 I am trying your pouch tutorial today Thank you 🥰
Yeah it's pretty simple once it clicks! I did this for some quick cusion covers. The only thing I did differently was make the overlap wider (about 10 cm / 4 inches )because I like to over stuff the pillow cases a bit.
This is so quick and easy! It would be wonderful for a hot water bottle holder… on second thought that might need some padding so you don’t get burned. 😊
I love the simplicity of the pattern simplicity. I’ve seen the best one, but I do have a question. How would I add a pocket? It will be the size so that he can hold sanitizer on the other side along with the tissues.
Thank you! That would make a great combination to pack in your bag. You could make a little pocket and sew it on the center of the right side before you sew the tissue pocket closed. It would be a nice puzzle to figure out the nicest way to do it.
Yes! I've boxed the corners on a couple of them too. You could put a packet in, pinch the corners, measure the height and then mark all around. I didn't bother doing a French seam or binding I just left the corners intact on the inside, as I did with the boxed corners in this little pouch in this video: ua-cam.com/video/1nwsdbzr5Tc/v-deo.html

Welcome to the channel 😊 That is a fun fact indeed 😅 Hope you had fun sewing!
Now I understand how this make this kinda of closure for a pillow and larger item.

Tank you! Great idea! But yes with some padding or a thicker fabric for safety :)
Very simplest ideas and perfect finishing ❤❤❤❤ love it.... many thanks for you
Thank you for the kind words ☺️❤️
Thank you for explaining the customised holder.
Glad it was helpful! It took ages to make the slides 😂 But it was a fun exercise.
@@CharlotteKanStudio I have made loads also with boxed corners but never fitted well to the size we use here in Finland 😂
This is so cute! I just finished watching your little pouch tutorial this morning and it was so easy to follow. I can't wait to try this one!

Have you ever boxed the corners on this? I'm going to try it

I made a few this afternoon and boxed the corners on some. I think I decided they are just as good without boxing the corners.
