There is a TV commercial that is currently airing. I cannot remember what it's for, but it features this young guy who is rushing to get somewhere, and he has something with him. At the end of the spot, he takes it out, and it's a EUPHONIUM! And he's playing something that I think is supposed to be very cool. (I also can't think of that right now, either.)

Travis Snyder its all what feels best to you, but as a general rule of thumb I don't like to go smaller than a 6 1/2AL on euphonium. I feel like once you go smaller you start to sacrifice tone. For most things, I play on a 3G or 5G
+Travis Snyder Look at Denis Wick mouthpieces. The Steven Mead models are very good for high register playing. Take a look at the SM5 and SM6. They're a bit pricey but it's a wonderful mouthpiece.
What are the main notes on this i was able to pick up low sole and low la and some fa's. Lol sorry im using those in my band we use note names instead of the solfege. But it works we are one of the best middle school bands in the county maybe even more than that. 11 superiors in a row at mpa. Glenridge Middle

I switched to tuba and made all state in Oregon and all city in west Salem in a month
