It makes a big weakness in the seam so it's not very useful unless in extremely special cases like when you only want compressive strength coming from the top for example
@@Schradermusic maybe seam is not rhe right word but i meant the line where there is no continuous extrusion that passes trough but rather two line that make a "u turn" and only touch at the tips like this " ][ " instead of "=" by not being a full line this is essentially at maximum as strong as layer lines in the z axis
It's funny when you say "Now you are like Lego when had injection molding"...but in reality we are "Like the rest of the world when Lego used injection molding for doing something different". Has not been the new technology the real revolution, but the new idea!
Solid, flat-back (possibly with adhesive) blocks from acoustic fibre or foam and textile front in many colours -> non-flat DIY pixel art acoustic wall 😉
Unfortunately I think the main limitation of this specific idea is durability. These things won't survive contact with much use. That said, TPU would be fantastic for it, as you mentioned.
That model is a nice learning experience when I recreated it in FreeCAD. Since this is not my design, I am not sure what the rules are for posting STL files on the usual sites. Maybe someone from the channel could help me out here?
Do you for see the industry been affected in the upcoming years? Will filament and equipment prices change, forcing most of us to increase our prices to keep up?
@@danielbocelli but slant3d is a youtube channel made by a company, that's totally different then a youtube making a company because of their youtube channel
this is one of the best 3d printed product design channels
Wow, thanks!
Very cool never thought of putting a slit to make vase mode have almost 2 layers

@@survival_man7746 perhaps slant seam?
@@survival_man7746 There is no seam in vase mode.

You should put the STLs for all your youtube channel stuff on angled. It's hard to see exactly what you're talking about without that in hand.
YES, I agree!
Good video and great topic for the Christmas season!
@2:47 how did you dob that like copy paste spin thing? Or what's the name of it so I can looking up. If is modifier?
Looked like a circular pattern modifier. Could also be done with a mirror modifier, but that’s not what was used in the video.
I was hoping for a link to the STL.
I should really make a printables page where I model all of the parts from these videos lol. Provided I can get permission / no requests to stop it
1:59 i am loving the slant box

whoa this is incredible. put a slit and make the wall double?? dayum..

Excited for tpu to come to teleport!
Would be super happy to see vace mode come to teleport

Lego was a clone Kiddicraft, they did not invent high precision stacking blocks.
Are the STLs posted anywhere? My little girl would love playing with these.
love your videos, but it's really weird that a company take sponsores by another companies
This is a B2B channel. Being sponsored by a company that lets you incorporate makes sense.
All your big UA-camrs are companies, and they all have sponsors

Just a shame the one you were showing kind of had a butt crack instead of having the seam go along the edge lines SuperVinlin
Consider , fake vase mode, double wall.
