Wow love those cabanas on the beach at 5:50. Way better than a little tent. Lovely food at 10:39. PI mangos are the best. Pristine beaches, nice to take a evening dip out there.
Kuya, thank you for watching, your feedback means so much to us.. The closed cabanas with the fan was better 😂.. the electricity only runs from 6pm to 6am.... the swimming was awesome.. the waters were more pristine than Boracay... We have more videos coming out soon from our trip.. we have posted this video along with the Street Food and Mayan volcano eruption so far... Have a wonderful evening ...
when i was still based in the philippines i go to calaguas once a year to have a social media/ internet/ detox. Back then mobile reception is close to none. Its nice to do it once in a while. Just to clear the mind and escape the metro.
Thank you for watching... it was so peaceful.. this was our second time...You are so correct, it was nice to detox the mind from outside distractions... If you get a chance check out our Street Food video along with the Mayan volcano eruption that we caught as well.. We have a lot more video's coming out soon... By the way we subscribed to your channel and was able to watch one of your dance rehearsal videos.. nice moves... I was on the board of directors for the San Diego dance company for 12 years... 🙂
Thank you my friend, it means so much to us.. hope you can share the video with your friends and family.. also checkout our street food video as well.. By the way how's your family?
Thank you for watching.. not that far.. you also can pay 200 pesos per person for island hopping .. talk to the tour operator first to negotiate all your prices ahead of time. If you have time please check out our Philippine Playlist for 20+ awesome videos from Baguio to Albay..
Not far I would say a couple hundred yards. As you look towards the beach you would turn towards your right side and keep walking until you hit the rocky area. The key to having fun and enjoying Calaguas is negotiating your package from the boat ride, food, accommodations on island (tent, cabana, closed cabana, room with AC), island hopping and other activities. Which tour operator are you looking at? BTW electricity is turned off between 6am - 6pm.
Thank you Ejay just want to ask how long did you stay and hiw much it cost you. I am from Montreal Canada and I would love to see this Island. I miss Phillipines
Sorry for the delay in responding, I overlooked your message, please forgive me. We stayed one night.. I recommend that you contact you contact one of the two tour operators.. both are good.. tell them that Nick from EJay’s Adventures sent you.. We could have stayed one more night but some of the folks in the party didn’t want or couldn’t handle without WiFi 🤪🤪🤪😂
Thank you Po for watching our video of Calaguas, we feel is one of the best in the Philippines... The boat ride is about 2+ hours depending upon the type of boat you use... the water can be a little rough at times depending upon the time of year and a lot of water spray on the way back :-) make sure have your belongs in plastic along with your personal items.. but I kind of liked it.. From my understanding the departure times change due to the tide because during low tide it's hard for the boats to get back to the dock that's up river.. I recommend using one of the two operators noted below both are good but we really liked Gayon Travels & Tours because he can take you to other places around the Philippines as well, plus he is the one on the tour helping to make the best experience possible. When negotiating prices please make sure that you express all of your concerns to include food, water ect.. If you use either one of them please let them know you reached out to Nick from Ejay's Adventures and ask for a special best friend discount (sometimes it works 😀).... I recommend going during the week days, not weekends, it's a less people, more quiet, more relaxing and peaceful. Also they sell wifi cards that you can use on the beach for about 80 pesos other than that no other WiFi access off the island. Power is secured from 6am to 6pm so bring extra power banks... We really love Calagus, we will go back again next year but stay 2 nights and do more island hopping and hiking... have fun.. Please check out our other videos from Albay, Camarines Norte and Baguio as well..... plus watch me learn how to plant rice... I suck at it but it was fun.. .also watch our son's Jollibee birthday party as well...
