OMG, what a haul!! I'm smiling here at you saying you're drawn to plain colours, well I'm the opposite 😮. I can't get enough colour. I love the dress on the mannequin.
What a fab haul! And never be afraid to show the green 💚💚 I’m obsessed with the FibreMood fleece pattern. It is firmly on the list!! A seashell Heather blazer would be stunning!!!
You will love the Fibremood pattern, I want to make so many more, in fact I’m wearing one as I type this! 😂. Yes I actually think I may make the seashell Heather next spring - well it’s on the list anyway 🫣😂. Thank you!! x
Ah thank you lovely!! Yes it is what I am drawn to so I will be interested to find out how that relates to what I am recommended once my colours are done! x
Love the tiger stripe knit - that will make a gorgeous sweater dress. Interested to hear more about the colour analysis as I wonder if it changes as you get older ? I had mine done in my 30's when I had dark brown hair and was a cool winter so they recommended jewel tones. Now I'm in my 50's and have my hair coloured dark blonde as I'm grey/white naturally and I tend to gravitate more toward softer colours which I think suit me better? Very interesting !
Ah yes that is really interesting! I’ll definitely be asking that question. I think I remember Sophie mentioning something about colours changing over time. As I said mine were done about 25 years ago, so let’s see!! Thank you. 😊
Oh how funny!! You have some good willpower there 👏. I think perhaps I should have waited. I’ll be interested to know what season you are when you hear and whether it affects the fabrics you were about to buy!!
@@sewsarahstyle I will let you know. I've also got body shape analysis being done hopefully help me going forward. Really have lost confidence not much I make suits me. I do know mustard is a good colour for me x
Good luck with your colour analysis. I had mine done but now struggle as I am a Spring and there are very few fabrics or even RTW for my colours at this time of year. Was not so sure about the style advice.
@@hilaryberry7133 ah okay thank you, I think I may find it tricky too if I am still a Spring. 🤔😂. I’ll wait and see and then decide if I want to bend the rules 🫣😂
Hi thank you. It’s the Rémy raglan by sew house seven lengthened into a dress. I just checked the details on my Instagram page and it says I added 16 inches in length between the shorten / lengthen lines and used ribbing for the neckline and cuffs which isn’t on the pattern. I also used the long sleeve add on pattern. Hope that helps!! x

I wish Pound Fabrics would ship internationally! So cool how affordable the fabrics are 😍
Ah yes that’s a shame they don’t ship internationally, there are some real deals to be had! x
I think your colour palette is superb, very classic. Go with what you love I say! Excellent fabric haul

Sarah, i bought the same camel fabric and wasnt keen, so ive used it for a toile.
Ah yes I definitely think it won’t be wasted, it’s always useful to have a variety of different type of fabrics for toiles!! 😂
I considered that but decided against. Glad I did now.
