    actually for me the elf HD powder works great😂i have oily skin and I'm an olive so the elf HD powder makes me less oily but not matte. its nice when I want to be glowy but not shiny and the slight white pigment neutralizes my face. probably not good for dry and light skin or if you want to be super matte

      @jennym007 8 років тому +1

      I love the Elf HD Powder as a finishing powder. I don't like how it's so messy to use but I persevere because it gives my makeup a lovely finish. Cheers.

      I also love the HD powder. I'm a pale 58 year old, don't wear foundation, only moisturizer with a BB/CC cream, and the powder is perfect to keep my forehead and nose without any shining. To each their own, I guess.

  • @jenn8721
    @jenn8721 8 років тому +2

    Is that elf HD pressed powder the one that has a weird, silicone-y texture? I used it a few times and was not impressed. Plus in that time, the cheap packaging completely fell apart even though it was in a small cosmetic bag inside my purse...HUGE mess everywhere! ELF is very hit and miss. Won't buy that type of compact from them or any of their mascaras ever again.

    omg I HATE when my eyeshadow fades during the day. I remember trying high end shadows for the first time and it was like night and day. the drugstore does have some nice shadows, but it's one makeup item where I can always justify a bit of a splurge

      +Diana Colon I looked at my local kmart first and there were no posh diamond blending sponges with vitamin E (that's what they were called in my research) but I found a two pack of teardrop applicators with vitamin e, for 1.99. I'm thinking they might be same but different shape... They are small and pretty flat, I'm wondering if Zabrena's sponges started flatter and expanded when wet? Some more details would be great if someone has them and sees this.... I will update you when I try them.

    +Zabrena I bought 3 L.A. Color palettes from I think Rite Aid. They were brown, blue & green, and purple. I have had some really good luck with them. Many of the colors are really pigmented and look great on me and some not so much. There are about 18 different colors in each palette and they weren't that expensive (under $10, I think $6). If you want a variety of colors it is a must have.
    If you could be so kind, would you check them out. I am not very good at coming up with color combinations for my blue eyes and would like some ideas.

    ugh the top rips off my beauty blender after like a month. The makeup never washes out and eventually the tip gets all gross and super squishy. Any tips on what to use to clean it? I use a mix of 1/4 olive oil and 3/4 antibacterial dish soap and it works perfectly. Make sure to shake it and when your beauty blender is dry put the mixture on it and concentrate the mixture on the areas where foundation is at (like slightly push it in the sponge). Then I squeeze it out and some foundation should come out and then I wash it with water and it takes it right out.

    I am completely with you in the NYX glitter primer and Milani shadows. I was so disappointed with the shadow palette I got (the one with the purple, blue, gold, and pink). It was so chalky looking an died so quickly after applying

    Thanks for sharing! :) I love the look of the Milani shadows, but after watching your video I probably won't waste my money!
    I was wondering how you keep your hair looking so healthy and shiny, even after going lighter to go back to your natural hair color? I love it though! I'm a natural strawberry blonde as well :) xo

    Thanks for demoing the Jordana shadows. I tend to shy away from cream shadows because I think they'll be difficult to blend.

    Hey Zabrena, I haven't made up my mind yet on the milani eye pallets simply because I think there is nothing unique about the colors. Especially to us MAC eyeshadow collectors, I feel like I have this colors already so not really interested. What do you think?

    I just discovered your channel and I'm so glad to find someone with the same hair and skin color as me! Do you have freckles as well? I have been trying to find something that keeps me pale, but gets rid of my freckles... Help?

    I love the Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliners. I have only been able to get my hands on 2 colors locally, the Striking Copper and Polished Amethyst. Love them to pieces. Glide on so well and the lasting power is right up there with the Rimmel Scandeleyes Liners.
