The white chocolate bar palette - naked chocolate is literally my favourite palette in my whole collection and I have high end and budget. Over 40 palettes....It's the best I have ever used :)
I absolutely adore the Maybelline define and fill! It changed my life! Another brow product I love is Revlon brow fantasy. It's a pencil and gel. It's awesome! Love frugal Friday's !
I love Makeup Revolution! it's so exciting that Ulta is now carrying them! I just wish they would carry a larger selection of their line. Anyway, about the chocolate palettes, the I Heart Chocolate palette is obviously a dupe for the original Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. The white chocolate one is a dupe for the original Lorac Unzipped palette. As for the Death By Chocolate palette, which is the one I have, I actually don't know if it's a dupe for anything (which is super surprising for Makeup Revolution).
I also developed a sensitivity to eyelash glue and realised a couple of things - firstly, buying duo off of amazon can be a dangerous game because DUO exists in knock-off form - the texture of the glues are very different, the knock-offs are practically impossible to remove - the black is very black and not grey; the white has a blue-ish tone and is not white. So I knew to stick to the real-deal before applying to my eyes. However, even with the authentic DUO glue, I have to always give my lids a break from time to time - and I just recently found out that DUO glue contains formaldehyde (it's written on the packaging) and if we are supposed to keep formaldehyde off our fingernail cuticles for fear of cancer I imagine it's the same thing if not worse near our eyes...but it IS the second to last ingredient - I am hoping the FDA knows what they're doing and that it is in small quantities such that it is *safe* for our eyes...even so, apparently one can easily develop allergies to formaldehyde...
I LOVE my Death By Chocolate palette from Makeup Revolution! I bring it with me EVERY time I travel. I don't even care that it doesn't smell like chocolate, I will never spend that much money for eyeshadows just because they smell like chocolate. So glad to have discovered MUR this year, they have fantastic quality products for super cheap!
I watched an older video about eyeshadow primer and OMG! I tried the one by Essence and it lasted more than 10 hours! No more Primer Potion for me! Thanks so much!
I use the Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive and LOVE it's staying power. I think a lot of people experience the things they do with Revlon's adhesive because they use too much. Duo requires you to use a huge GLOB of the product across the lashes, but Revlon you just need enough to BARELY coat the lash band. That being said, I do agree the packaging gets pretty messy easily. As a performer, I need lash glue that is LIFE proof, so it works for me. If you need a way to remove it, I like using cold cream. :) Great video, Z!
The Maybelline brow pencils are my favorite brow product, especially since most drugstore brands don't have a dark brown that's dark enough for my natural hair color. Their dark brown is perfect for my color.
Absolutely love the Naked Chocolatge palette, which I hear is a dupe for the Unzipped palette. I also have Death by Chocolate and it does have a slight cocoa scent.
I have a different Sedona Lace blush palette and it's fantastic as far as pigmentation and application. The colors can be pretty close to each other would love it even more with a tad more variation.
I found that the Nyx Proof it primer works really well on my eye lids and my brows. it is a clear primer that makes eyeshadows waterproof, I apply this on my lids and brows then I use a crease proof eyeshadow primer. I use a powder brow color because I find that it is less harsh looking on me, and the Proof it really helps to keep it in place. I have very oily skin btw and this product really helps.
I picked up the L'Oreal Brow Plumper gel a couple weeks ago and I really love it! Adds body to my sparse brows and really locks down the hairs to stay all day. :-)
You should try more products of makeup revolution!!! You won't get disappointed!! Everything that I purchase of that brand it's amazing!!! the heart blushes, the radiance highlighter palette, the iconic and iconic pro palettes, salvation palettes, lip laquers, java liquid lipstick, the list is endless!!
I've been using the Ardell Lash Adhesive that is latex free. I like it so far, but it does not hold as well as the Duo. Thanks for your review. I hated the Revlon lash adhesive also and felt like it was pulling out my natural lashes when I tried to take off my falsies.
ZABRENA! You should absolutely do a frugal fridays on drugstore primers. It would help so much if you reviewed shine control and longevity :D especially for a oily skinned gal like me.
So I just picked up the Revlon lash adhesive because Emily Noel ravs about it. I also saw they make adhesive remover so I picked that up too because I don't wear falsies very often.
I picked up a Maybelline brow pencil but I haven't tried it yet because I'm still using up the one I got from e.l.f. (Instant Lift Brow Pencil - it's very good, but I wanted to see if I could find something thinner). BUT, I also picked up Maybelline's Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara in transparent, and I'm LOVING it. The wand is just the right shape and size; after I've filled in my brows it just gives them the extra bit of shaping they need. And even more importantly, they hold their shape all day!
I have the three "chocolate palettes" from Makeup revolution, and am about to buy the fourth one, a pink coloured outer case. They also have great lipstick, you should have a look on their website, even for blush, bronze and highlight palettes, and the cutest packaging ! xo
I had the same experience with the lash glue. Too much work peeling it off the lashes. I didn't use it enough for the package to get gummy. I was over it after a few monotonous lash cleaning sessions. You are much more patient than me babe!
Hey Zabrena, the company that makes these chocolate bar palettes is now called "I ❤ make up" in the uk. They also do some really nice, inexpensive lip creams.
You are so gorgeous! Love that hair colour on you too :) I totally agree with you, about the Revlon eyelash glue. I used it one Halloween to stick red cosmetic glitter to my lids...omg such a bad choice, took days and days for it to fully come off. Made my lids feel really weird :/ x
Great video. I love the cover girl 3 in 1 foundation. My all time favorite drugstore foundation. Where is the makeup revolution sold? Those eyeshadow palettes where gorgeous.
Those lashes look amazing - very natural. It sucks that they are such a pain, though. I have been wanting to get my hands on the Naked Chocolate bar from Makeup Revolution ever since I saw a swatch video. The colors look amazing! There are so many other things I want to try from MUR and I
I'm glad I'm not the who absolutely hated the Revlon lash glue. I picked it up because the store was out of the clear Duo and I didn't feel like running to Ulta or Target on the other side of town.I absolutely couldn't get it off it got on my lid and stayed for like two days. So bad chucked it after one use.
You should try the Rimmel lasting finish foundation. That's my go-to foundation especially for work (I'm a nurse and I work 12+ hour long shifts). This is one of the only foundations that can last through my entire shift. The only other foundation that I've found that's comparable in terms of lasting power is the Estée Lauder double wear. I'm just as pale as you and the Rimmel matches me perfectly. I am in the shade Light Ivory
Yoy need to try "celestial' from the Rimmel laquers. It is my perfect color, my go to when I want to look sophisticated, my perfect my lips but better shade! Slightly blot, especially the edges, and then it looks amazing, everyday, date night, whatever you want! :D
I have Rimmel's Show Off Lip Lacquer in Aurora and love it. It was given to me by a lady who didn't like the way it looked on her, and she thought it would look better on me. She was right, and when I went to Walmart to see about getting other colors I suddenly felt very spoiled. Rimmel is, sadly, not in my budget so I use it very sparingly in the hopes of making it stretch.
I am so happy I stumbled upon your channel! You are my new favorite person to watch! I just wanted to mention that I love the revlon lash glue and I love that it gets gummy bc it means less drying time for me to place the lash but Im a makeup artist and I don't reuse lashes so that might be why I love it and you hate it! Also had to ask you if you have tried la femme blushes? Super cheap and amazing pigmentation and lasting power
I have very oily skin and a must not is the NYX matte setting spray.. it dried my under eyes out like no other.. I had to spray another setting spray with more moisture throughout the day...half the bottle. A must have from NYX is the single shadow in taupe, perfect shade for a lovely neutral eye or smoky. Can be used as a brow shadow as well. I also just started using and am loving the NYX eyebrow pencil crayon in charcoal. Not too dramatic on the brows and a perfect ash color, grey. A little drying, as in pencil but I like that because it is build able and not too creamy but doesn't drag at all on me. ;)
I LOVE the Ardell Natural lashes. The one kryptonite I had with makeup was falsh lashes BUT once I used the natural ones they are the only ones I can apply easily, they look natural but beautiful and I never have a problem taking them off. I always use the Ardell lash glue when using them. I do believe I use number 109 :)
Those lashes look great on u!!! I might even buy them, and I don't use falsies. I would love to see swatches on the MR chocolate palettes. Any chance of maybe adding that to your list of "to do videos"? Thank u for this review. Your opinion and experience means a lot. : )
I'd like to see more of that blush palette. What are the white looking shades?Too white to be blush? Have you tried the Revlon lash glue that goes from white to blue? I think it might work better for you. I look forward to watching the liquid lipstick video. So sad I can't wear any of the Rimmel lipsticks because of the fragrance. I love how natural those false lashes look. Can you recommend another brand that looks that natural? Will you be showing us more about the Revolution palettes? xoDebbie
Ugh man I had just written out a nice long comment and UA-cam crashed! Let's try this again! I recently picked up a few new things from the drugstore and I'm loving everything so far. The MUA palettes sold exclusively at CVS (currently 25% off making them $10!) in Natural and Metals are so great, you'd love the Metals palette for fall! Perfect jewel tones and just pigmented enough to make them easy to work with. I also picked up the Circa beauty brow pencil (exclusive to Walgreens, it's Eva Mendes's line and currently 20% off!) and it's a fabulous brow pencil, just wish it had a spoolie! It's soft and pigmented enough to do your brows really quick but not too soft where you're running into super dark brow territory! And last but now least, the Rimmel Provacalips (two step lip staining cream) in Make your Mauve, picked this up per Sharon Ferrals recommendation! What a gorgeous, everyday color and the formula is so easy to apply! Thanks for sharing love, let me know if you try anything!
The white chocolate bar palette - naked chocolate is literally my favourite palette in my whole collection and I have high end and budget. Over 40 palettes....It's the best I have ever used :)
I love frugal and I loveeee frugal fridayz!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
I'm loving the berry/pink thing going on. Your outfit completely compliments your hair and even decor
The airspun powder by coty is a must have for me!!! Love the consistency, it stays all day, and it's never drying!
You look absolutely stunning in this video. The colours you are wearing really really suit you. You look like a Texan beauty.
gorgeous hair color and makeup looks amazing!!🌼🌸💄🌼🌸💄🌼🌸💄
yesss! the rimmel show offs!! I got one in my summer Wal-Mart beauty box. it's a red shade and everytime I wear it I get compliments.
Yes to a blush dupe video :) I'm excited a bout the chocolate bar palettes.
I absolutely adore the Maybelline define and fill! It changed my life! Another brow product I love is Revlon brow fantasy. It's a pencil and gel. It's awesome! Love frugal Friday's !
I LOVE Frugal Fridayz videos!! Especially this one. I love the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes, but not crazy for the price.
The maybelline auburn brow pencil is a dream for natural redheads! 😍
Love that blush pallette! I've been looking for one and you look amazing in that peachy color!
Your personality is so adorable. Love watching your videos!
Amazing video Z, as usual! Can't wait for the liquid lipstick battle ❤️
oh my gosh I love you and your videos so much you're so beautiful please never stop making more videos
Omg that color is gorgeus on you!! And those lashes look amazing!
I absolutely love your hair color. Looks amazing.
i love your videos they really help me out when im looking for a new yet great product.
Agree, the e.l.f. lip tinted lip balm is amazing.
So glad I found your channel! Love your finds and this review is great can't wait to buy a few items you found thank you!!

+alelvi123 Yes, I found that out recently, too; they disguise it as 'formalin' on the label :/ Makes sense why we would be having a reaction to that!
Thank you for making such great videos! I really love your hair color! It's gorgeous...just like you!
As a redhead, I REALLY love the Avon Brow wax & powder compact. Perfect color & the pomade wax gives you shaping and staying power for
Wow, she should definitely go back to this red for a while. Suuper pretty. Not that her other red colors are pretty, this one is just wow.
Great ideas! Thank you. I like the Elf lip balm. I just picked up the Makeup Revolution baked highlighter, in Golden Lights. Very good.
Totally agree on the Revlon lash adhesive.
I LOVE my Death By Chocolate palette from Makeup Revolution! I bring it with me EVERY time I travel. I must try that Sedona blush palette!! It's beautiful! I absolutely love all your videos, Z! Have a great weekend ❤️❤️
That hair color suits you so so sooo much!! Flawless :) Awesomely informative video btw
Love your vids - always such great advice. Thanks! X
Absolutely love the Naked Chocolatge palette, which I hear is a dupe for the Unzipped palette. I also have Death by Chocolate and it does have a slight cocoa scent.
My Revlon glue container became funky too! Good to know it wasn't just me.
I'm loving your hair color!!
your hair looks so pretty love the color
NYX lip glosses are my must haves.....
Z I'd love to see a blush dupes for high end ones with that blush palette! 😉
I have a different Sedona Lace blush palette and it's fantastic as far as pigmentation and application. The colors can be pretty close to each other would love it even more with a tad more variation.
Love the darker hair!

Yeyyyyyyy!! Been waiting for this for an entire week.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Frugal Fridays. (even though we don't have most of the brands here in Europe)
I had the same experience with the lash glue. Too much work peeling it off the lashes. I didn't use it enough for the package to get gummy. I was over it after a few monotonous lash cleaning sessions. You are much more patient than me babe!
Your hair looks amazing!!!
Hey Zabrena, the company that makes these chocolate bar palettes is now called "I ❤ make up" in the uk. They also do some really nice, inexpensive lip creams.
I have the dark Revlon lash glue and I love it! It's my favorite, but I haven't tried the white/clear one.
+Happywife Taylor
They r at Ulta, some store may not have the whole line but if u order from their website there is probably a good selection.
+felinekj I'm sorry. I did not see them on the Ulta website. they do sell this brand but very limited amount so far.
That's been my favorite foundation, too!
***** I'm really glad they have come to the States. I'm sure we don't have the whole line yet but its nice to have them here now. : )
+Happywife Taylor I don't think they carry these at Ulta yet, they are a different branch of Makeup Revolution known as the I
Your hair is gorgeous!!!
Oh, I looooove that hair color on you! :D And lip color/makeup look :)
LOVE the dark hair on you.
Oooo got some good stuff now I want to try all the good stuff!!!

those palettes remind me of water color palettes we used back in grade school.lol
I love those chocolate bar palettes!! Those look like amazing dupes for the too faced ones! Which, I also love but that's expensive. haha
You should try the Rimmel lasting finish foundation. That's my go-to foundation especially for work (I'm a nurse and I work 12+ hour long shifts). I'm just as pale as you and the Rimmel matches me perfectly. I am in the shade Light Ivory
your hair color is perfection.
Just purchased the 26 blush palette and it was half-priced so I paid less than $7.00 for it. Really happy about that and can't wait to get it.
I have 2 of the makeup revolution chocolate palettes and mine are cocoa scented. The scent seems to be wearing off fast, but they are scented.
Yoy need to try "celestial' from the Rimmel laquers. It is my perfect color, my go to when I want to look sophisticated, my perfect my lips but better shade! Slightly blot, especially the edges, and then it looks amazing, everyday, date night, whatever you want! :D

Oh my god your hair is amazing 😍
I love the kiss strip lash adhesive. It's latex free and not gummy at all. Maybe you can give that a try. It's also at Walgreens. 😊
I LOVE YOUR NEW HAAAAIR 😍😍😍😍
You should do a video on the covergirl stay luminous foundation and other drugstore luminizing products
I am so happy I stumbled upon your channel! You are my new favorite person to watch! you look gorgeous with red hair! 😍
you've read my mind I was on makeup revolution web page last night and was eyeing up the chocolate palettes.
I'm allergic to latex too. Try the lise watier lash adhesive it has great reviews
The Rimmell Showoff's are on clearance for either 2.49 or 3.49 at Walgreen's. Great video!
Those lashes look great on u!!! I might even buy them, and I don't use falsies. I would love to see swatches on the MR chocolate palettes. Any chance of maybe adding that to your list of "to do videos"? Thank u for this review. Your opinion and experience means a lot. : )

Have your tried the house of lashes adhesive? It's my fave.
just stumbled across this video. you're so cute
what is that gorgeous lippie you are wearing - color and brand - thanks gorgeous xxxxx Suzy
I love your videos! They are so cool and informative, I've learnt so much from you. *o*
Thanks for the review Z!
Wow those chocolate bar palettes look like reallllly close dupes to the Too Faced ones, where did you pick them up?
I'm pretty sure you can pick them up at ulta
I live in Canada we don't have ultra, so I had to order off of the makeup revolution website
yes I picked mine up at ulta 💖
I have the Naked Chocolate and I love it. I purchased mine at Ulta
