Signora didn't even trade a single scratch from Ei and Scara only touched Nahida in her dreamscape and not in reality in their fight and Neuvillette himself is an incredibly powerful 1000+ year old dragon or older and Tartaglia managed to scratch him while Neuvillette stopped his transformation and one shot him and Childe even had the balls of steel to challenge the hydro archon into an all-out fight This guy really is crazy
Its more like because his foul legacy form is abyss power. Light realm creatures are kinda vulnerable to dark realm powers. Its like batman using krypnote suit against superman
It's more to do with the 3 Realms of Genshin I think. The Dragon Sovereigns of Genshin belong to the Light Realm. Opposing the Light Realm, is the Dark Realm which is the Abyss and the void. Neuvillette being from the Light Realm means that anything from the Dark Realm counters him. And because Childe's Foul Legacy transformation comes directly from the Abyss, it managed to slightly hurt Neuvillette. I'm sure Neuvillette himself managed to figure out that Childe's power is from the Abyss just by this cutscene when he looked back at him.
The cuts scene animation are getting so good with every updates... They used to look so dull with no expression back then but now it can't be compared with previous version.....
Have we ever had a 5-star quest item given away? If no, then having Childe's Vision permanently in our inventory makes the further story development so much more unpredictable.
yes we get one from every archon so far, one of them is signora's mask after shogun oneshotted her. this might be the 'childe death prediction' everyone was talking about. something will most likely happen at the end of this chapter in archon quest. but i cant think of why his vision was malfunctioning in the first place. he was also so casual about it as if it happens every other month

I think, the real point there wasn't Childe's power or luck to scratch Neuvi. But Neuvi realising that Childe uses abyssal power. Probably the only think that could hurt him. At any rate... Neuvillette didn't mean to hurt Childe, he just wanted to stop his transformation, so the Opera and its audience doesn't get distroyed. (meaning that he was not using real force)

The strength of so many characters came to question in Fontaine's archon quest. Remember none of them are weak nor the strongest. And that's the best part, the fight between strong individuals.

This is surprising actually because Childe isn't really vulnerable during his transformation unlike many anime chara transforming. Childe create an aura that pretty much push away anyone trying to get close to him. During his boss fight even the Traveler is pushed away by the force of his transformation and can't get close. Yet Neuvillette easily pushed through and konck him out. Heck Childe has Abyss energy which is fine for Traveler as they're not from Teyvat but other being can really get affected by it. Neuvillette if true about being Hydro Dragon is an elemental being to boot so even more susceptible to the corrosion.
Correct me if wrong. The original dragons are known to be stronger than archons which is why childe wouldn't stand a chance even if he fully transformed and seriously fought neuvilette.

The Enkanomia prophecy was that the Hydro dragon will not only be reborn alongside humans but also lose its places among Vishap as he's no longer considered pure but impure like humans. That's whythe Bathysmal Vishap Herds are called Dragonsheir as they're now the king and not the Hydro dragons. At least that's what was said, its possible Hoyo retcon this by saying the informations of the books were incomplete or some shit. So I dunno about current Neuv, he might be weaker than Azhdaha for all we know or Childe might stand a chance. All that is certain is that he's weaker and not as strong as he once was like Apep.

Although it is quite clear that neuvilette would be weaker than the original dragon form. But he wouldn't be significantly weaker too. He is not concidered pure just bc of his human form nothing was said if he was in the first place weaker at all. He clearly is stronger than furina bc he talks to her however he wants and furina can't stand her ground with him and just glares if he was a normal citizen she would not just let it slide.

In fontaine, justice dictact everything even the archon can be judged. As the judge and most impartial person, he hold more power than her.

Fun Fact Childe has 3 abilities 1) Hydro vision 2)Electro Delusion 3) Abyss Transformation For those Curious why Childe does not grow old or age when using Delusion is because his Delusion is not using his lifeforce as a trade off to be able to use it. My guess is that he is using either his hydro vision OR Abyss Mask to Fuel the Delusion eith power Rather then his lifeforce. And for Foul Legacy he is basicaly drained due to 2 reasons 1) Using both Vision and Delusion 2) As stated by Dainsleif the abyss is like a poison to almost every living being. Not exactly sure how Abyss Herald/Mages stay alive but its supposedly due to the immortal Curse inflicted on the khaenrians.
Some people are just immune to the Delusion's side effects, Diluc used his Delusion a lot on the comics and he was fine, yet his father just placed it on his body and was immediately borderline dead

It's more to do with the 3 Realms of Genshin I think. The Dragon Sovereigns of Genshin belong to the Light Realm. Opposing the Light Realm, is the Dark Realm which is the Abyss and the void. Neuvillette being from the Light Realm means that anything from the Dark Realm counters him. And because Childe's Foul Legacy transformation comes directly from the Abyss, it managed to slightly hurt Neuvillette. I'm sure Neuvillette himself managed to figure out that Childe's power is from the Abyss just by this cutscene when he looked back at him.

This is surprising actually because Childe isn't really vulnerable during his transformation unlike many anime chara transforming.
Childe create an aura that pretty much push away anyone trying to get close to him.
During his boss fight even the Traveler is pushed away by the force of his transformation and can't get close. Yet Neuvillette easily pushed through and konck him out.
Heck Childe has Abyss energy which is fine for Traveler as they're not from Teyvat but other being can really get affected by it.
Neuvillette if true about being Hydro Dragon is an elemental being to boot so even more susceptible to the corrosion.
Correct me if wrong. The original dragons are known to be stronger than archons which is why childe wouldn't stand a chance even if he fully transformed and seriously fought neuvilette.

Traveler can't approach childr when transforming bc he has some kind of barrier water when transforming to delusion and thunder when transforming to foul in both cases you can't approach him but neuvilette could and knocked him without problems. Although it is quite clear that neuvilette would be weaker than the original dragon form. But he wouldn't be significantly weaker too. He is not concidered pure just bc of his human form nothing was said if he was in the first place weaker at all. He clearly is stronger than furina bc he talks to her however he wants and furina can't stand her ground with him and just glares if he was a normal citizen she would not just let it slide.

We are nit really sure how fontaine works. Furina is clearly scared of neuvilette and doesn't dare to stand against him and neuvilette doesn't seem to give a damn about her even seems to clash her and tease her from time to time. Even appart from court.

Fun Fact Childe has 3 abilities
1) Hydro vision
2)Electro Delusion
3) Abyss Transformation
For those Curious why Childe does not grow old or age when using Delusion is because his Delusion is not using his lifeforce as a trade off to be able to use it. My guess is that he is using either his hydro vision OR Abyss Mask to Fuel the Delusion eith power Rather then his lifeforce.
And for Foul Legacy he is basicaly drained due to 2 reasons
1) Using both Vision and Delusion
2) As stated by Dainsleif the abyss is like a poison to almost every living being. Not exactly sure how Abyss Herald/Mages stay alive but its supposedly due to the immortal Curse inflicted on the khaenrians.
Some people are just immune to the Delusion's side effects, Diluc used his Delusion a lot on the comics and he was fine, yet his father just placed it on his body and was immediately borderline dead
