Thank you for watching. I've updated Kamakura video, so it might help to watch this one too if you have a chance before your travel. ua-cam.com/video/yT65VyIQZ1A/v-deo.html
Very helpful video! I had already planned to visit Kamakura but this has really helped me to fill in the details. I would really to see you do a video about Yokahama too as I'd like to visit there.
Kamakura is my favorite day trip from Tokyo. All the shops and food near Kamakura station is great... Mocha soft cream and freshed cook osenbei is my favorites! Haha Enoshima is beautiful day or night time with all the lights
You know Kamakura very well! I'll try those next time. Komachi dori is fun place to walk around with street foods. And yes, Enoshima is magical under blue sky and also after sunset.
Hii Kenchan! Beautiful and informative video as always! I have a question. As the Jr Pass will increase in October, will the price tickets from shonan shinjuku line to kamakura will increase too if I use suica and not buying it with Jr Pass? Thank you!🙏
Hello. The peak of Hydreangea season is usually in mid June. Hasedera and Meigetsuin is famous for Hydreangea. This video was taken in late April. May is still beautiful with fresh greens. :)
I will definitely add this to my week travel to Japan. I feel more confident taking your videos like a guide ✨️! The only problem I have is which hotel to choose 😅
Hello Kevin, I'm glad if the video could show you some travel ideas. April is a good season to visit Kamakura as the new green leaves start to come out! Yes, there are too many choices of hotels. I'm actually working on one video about that topic. :)
Hi Kenchan, your videos are my favorite! Could you kindly tell me how long it takes to travel from Kamakura, say Homichi St area, to Yokohama? I am thinking about ending the day in Yokohama rather than Tokyo so that I can visit the Gundum factory.
Hello JC san, thank you for your kind comment. Kamakura station to Yokohama station is about 25min. on the way to Tokyo. Depends on where your hotel is in Yokohama, you can change train to go into city center of Yokohama.
Hi, thank you for your question. In that case probably you can get off at Odawara or Shinyokohama, and head to Kamakura. Itinerary wise, it makes sense. If you are staying near Shinagawa of Tokyo station, it might be easier to drop bags at hotel first. After you went to Kyoto and see all the temples, you might be able to enjoy especially the beach side. :)
Hi! Very useful video, thank you! I'm going to have a 10 days long vacation to Tokyo in december so I would also like to spend an entire day in Kamakura, but I have a question, so if I use a card like Suica or Pasmo, I won't have any problem to get to Kamakura right?
Hi! Thank you for watching. That's great that you are coming here soon! Yes, if you have Suica or Pasmo, and have enough balance in it, you can use it for JR and Enoden too. You can also install Suica or Pasmo on Apple Pay or Google Pay if that is better, but it seems some foreign issued Visa card doesn't work. I wish you the best trip in Tokyo!!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your support for the video. I hope you have a great trip to Kamakura. :)

Just in time for my upcoming trip to Japan. I really want to visit the Great Buddha statue :)
Great. So probably it was good that I didn't show you the Great Buddha in the video this time. I hope you'll have a great time in Japan.:)

Thank you for watching! No, the price of regular train is not going to go up. So you can travel with just Suica. Have a great trip to Kamakura. :)
@@tokyokenchan Thank youu! Have a great day!
Hello. Thanks for the video. When are the hydrangea blooms in Kamakura? Planning to visit in early May.
