If you ever get the chance to meet Marc Gaudet, he is one of the nicest and coolest dudes on the planet! That really was the best time to be a young indie teen in Canada, eh? My high school best friend and I started an indie music zine back then, just so we'd have a legit-sounding excuse to hang out at back doors of venues early in the day (when they would usually do sound checks) and meet the bands. Instead of being weird stalkers, we were there for an 'interview'. Good times. :)
