I made it half way through. If you are using the Ledger or other hardware device correctly then your passphrase should never have been entered into any device other than the hardware device. I do not see how it would be possible for a key logger to record it. I agree that if you have entered it into a device connected to the internet (such as your PC or phone) then it is possible for a key logger to have grabbed it. This is especially true now given Windows spyware as standard in version 11 and the AI side phone chips.
Entering your passphrase anywhere else other than the hardware device is against the standard operating procedure and is dangerous. Another attack angle that is theoretically possible would be for malware to access the private key via the USB port, though I have never seen such an attack. If you are concerned then use an air-gapped hardware device.

If anything, it'll get worse. Very soon, affordable housing will no longer be affordable. So anything anyone want to do, I will advise they do it now because the prices today will look like dips tomorrow. Until the Fed clamps down even further, I think we're going to see hysteria due to rampant inflation. You can't halfway rip the band-aid off.
Considering the present situation, diversifying by shifting investments from real estate to financial markets or gold is recommended, despite potential future home price drops. Given prevailing mortgage rates and economic uncertainty, this move is prudent, particularly due to stricter mortgage regulations. Seeking advice from a knowledgeable independent financial advisor is advisable for those seeking guidance.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.
Can you provide instructions on how to contact your advisor? I'm experiencing erosion of my funds due to inflation and looking for a more profitable investment strategy to make better use of them.

My grandfather kept a Mac to do his accounting and he ripped the modem out of it just in case keeping the phone cable disconnected wasn't enough. I asked him once you know people can remotely view your screen if they have high tech enough radio equipment? 😅 He didn't like that. I built miners about the same time you bought that $20 bitcoin. Yeah I was selling them like a dumbass too. You're right about the ramps and some things. They can kill crypto with fiat in multiple ways without stealing your keys but Ledger for example you don't expose your keys to sign messages that would've defeated the purpose a long time ago. If you enable that recovery stuff maybe I wouldn't do that. There are other problems with the banks controlling too much of it and also in people being overleveraged especially in the US where there is no solvency in an empty asset. There's likely to be a long bitcoin winter coming.
This sentiment is what everyone has wrong. Bitcoin isn't an investment, it's a deflationary savings account.
He clearly doesn't understand Bitcoin at all. Doesn't even know the founders name.
Bitcoin is going to be the global reserve for capital. You're going to regret getting out in 4 years 😬. Pretty sure the tens of billions of dollars they spend to secure Bitcoin that ai or quantum isn't going to do anything against the defenses they can quickly build.

@dedetudor. Yes, please google. "Are QR codes safe?" Far more data can be hijacked than most people realize. Please read as much as you can about QRs' data transfer capabilities. Thanks, that was a good question!

Dude, your private key on a Ledger-Device is on a secure chip. There is no way for anybody to access it, unless somebody is a complete moron and physically types it somewhere.
If your keys have ever been on a screen before you printed it out or wrote it down, the AI now has it. FACT. Google DeepSeekai
I have the same concerns but I was told ledger creates the private key on device and is never transferred to another device unless you type it out or put it in there manually or even take a photo of it. Even when you connect to sign, it should only be the “Signature” and not the private key itself (if you believe ledger or any other device)
THIS GUY IS A MORON SO HE WOULD LOSE HIS KEYS,
@@Anamericanhomestead Your keys never leave the Ledger device. You can never see them yourself, let alone have someone else get them from your screen.

This dounds like the series show PERSON OF INTEREST! staring Jim Kavisel. Its definitely the beginning times of the beast system! I stoped into a HAWAIIAN NROTHERS restaurant the other day to have lunch with my mom, you had to place your own order on a computer and pay with a CC. I had to hunt down pne of the 2 employees from the kitchen and inquire about paying in cash, the cook came out and looked at me like i was nuts! He told me they couldn't take anything larger than a 20 dollar bill , and apparently it was a major inconvenience for him to take my money! So i just turned around and left! But this is where we're heading!
Great job! More people need to stand up just like this. I've also done & said this since 1995...seen the writing on the wall.
They’re pushing it down our throats.. smh
I was in Japan last October, same thing, order at your table on a screen but they still like cash. Japan is still huge on cash payments. My sons lived there for coming up 7 years and never uses a card anywhere. Businesses prefer cash.
"You will own nothing and be happy." We pay taxes on our vehicles when we purchase them, and in many states we pay taxes on the vehicles in perpetuity. We pay property taxes on our homes in perpetuity. If you don't pay those taxes the government gets "your" property. With all that said, do we "own" anything? Resolution? They say property tax is for "education". So with this huge amount of money collected, we should have top notch education. But we don't. If children are scoring 40% lower on reading than they did last year, then 40% of property tax should be reimbursed and hold our educational institutions accountable? How about eliminating property tax and obtain revenue by education excellence grants? These grants could come from corporate funds? How about privatization of schools? What about parents who can't afford private education? Those who can't afford it could apply for some kind of loan that would be forgiven if the child is successful--thereby providing motivation for parents to be more involved? Any ideas?

Interesting info. Already have metals. Recently got into the crypto space. Forced to buy a Galaxy S24FE last month after old phone died. Seems the AI is only on the camera/video function. But don't quote me. My cold wallet is a Tangem. It has a secure element chip and an antenna inside. Looks like a credit card. It never connects to a device but works through an app. I plan only to buy and hold crypto. I would never use it for everyday things like buying gas or food unless I'm forced to in an emergency. That's how you put yourself at risk. Eventually the government will come up with something for everyday transactions. I still agree with everything else you said. Time will tell what happens in the crypto space. I just want a piece of it and take the risk for my future.
They don’t have your Face ID (AI) or the seed phrase on paper. Tangem is a cold wallet . Things are different now and also if you only invest what you’re willing to lose then to me it’s fine. If I make some money great but if not it’s also fine. It’s a risky investment for sure but can be very lucrative and then you can buy physical things like houses which they can’t take. Hope to take the money and run haha 😆

If a cell phone vendor would like to know what their users are writing, the could have installed a hidden keylogger long BEFORE any AI clients. And if the vendor makes their phones secure, then also an AI can't magically jump out of its box and read everything your're typing.
