Thanks for the video! I recently ordered their Elliptical E-7 which took them nearly two months to deliver. Once it arrived at the warehouse near me, I was not informed of the arrival but being curious, I called and was told that it had arrived several days earlier. I asked if someone was planning on contacting me and was told that the unit was damaged and that it would be two additional weeks before they could secure another one. Long story short, I finally received my Elliptical and am happy with it but their service is below standard and unacceptable!

Always make big purchases on a major credit card. You have dispute options with them. They essentially do the fighting for you. We had similar yet different experiences with Nordictrack pickup and delivery issues. Our $3500 I22 was delivered upside down, damaged, and a football field away from my front door.

I was thinking of buying Nordictrack's fs14i cross trainer because I had to cancel a Life Fitness E3 elliptical order because the $3,600 elliptical, that weighs over 200 pounds, doesn't have transport wheels! A sure deal breaker! After seeing your video, I'm sad and happy, that the fs14i is also another deal breaker!

thanks for the video, it's a shame because I was all excited about getting the x22i, and then I subsequently saw so many horrible reviews on consumer affairs. It seems like they put all the focus on their marketing, but they lack in product reliability and customer service. The way they seem to treat their customers (i.e. those who already paid for their products) makes it not even worth it to get extended warranty if that's even available. I'm at a loss as I was looking for a treadmill with a high incline, and I'm struggling to find another company with similar features but much better reputation.

2-year old “commercial” 1750 treadmill has been having the same issue… fans stopped working, goes limp, monitor shuts down, the whole thing shuts down… they’ve replaced plenty but somehow they get away with making the process lengthy enough so your warranty expires.

For some of the replies ..I think you are entitled to you opinion and I believe what you say is true and I was just about to buy the new x32i and spend $4500 to get it delivered and installed. But now I have to do more research and It's been 3 days that I am trying to get someone on the phone and nobody is picking up. Sucks that it looks like a great machine but the customers service is terrible.

At the moment, the Nordic treadmills seem to be the only ones available in the UK. Was about to buy one until I saw this. Guess I will just wait until the Reebok treadmills become available. I am in the USA. The first two weeks, the monitor had to be changed. Three week after that- that monitor had to be changed. Yeah I complained and yes other things were malfunctioning- on this $$4000 NordicTrack Treadmil.
But the good news was- I by passed customer service and annoyed the hell out of the executives office personal via the internet and email. They sent people to pick up the machine and gave me a FULL refund.

I've had mine for a month and the belt just stopped working without warning. They are a nightmare to get a hold of.
The machine comes almost completely assembled. You just put the bars on. Nothing mechanical or electrical other than a plug.

I had a bow flex elliptical and I used the mess out of that thing. It was an addiction and I didn’t feel right if I didn’t get in some tine everyday. The Bluetooth connectivity was garbage but the unit worked great. I hope you have a similar experience.

I literally was just about to purchase the Commercial x22i then I said let me look for some reviews. I planned on purchasing the In home delivery and set up with the extended warranty because I didn't want to have to carry this monster down to my basement or assemble it. Thank you Thomas Sawyer, I am sure they have machines that are great and others that come up short, but how they handle it... is the only thing that matters to me. If I give you $3,000 for the luxury to go for a walk or light run in my home the least you could do is stand by your product and make sure it works.

Their stuff is great just buy an extended warranty for the longest period possible. I've had a commercial 2450 for 6 years and it just started breaking this year and they sent repair people and parts out 4 times. It might take 2 to 3 weeks to have someone fix it because I'm in a more remote area but just the service calls and parts have had to cost them 2k. My frame.ended up having a crack and they replaced my treadmill for free and I upgraded to the x22i which is going to be delivered today with another 4 year extended on top of factory.

Our USA made Landice was more money, but we use our treadmill every day, and it works flawlessly. Our Scheels sporting good store had it discounted from MSRP, but it was still expensive. But lifetime warranty and zero problems. Sometimes you get what you pay for. We were tired of Chinese crap. Sorry this happened to you. But thanks for the warning.

I wish Joe Rogan would do a podcast on suckass businesses like Nordictrack. I am pretty big into fitness and finally earned enough to get a Nordictrack 2450 new. Damn thing cost me 2K. After 2 months from buying it, the base platform split down the middle. Nordictrack insisted I had to install the mailed replacement. Like changing a tire...OK. 1-2 hours later, I had it going again only to have it the same day shut off at random times, while running fast or slow. They mailed me a new motherboard to install. I insisted on a tech this time to do the labor. They say none are available, so it sits unused for 2 months. Nordictrack gives capitalism a bad name. I pray for their business downfall. I hate you Nordictrack!

I bought an X22i I and it has been nothing but an excellent experience. I don't care if this treadmill breaks down at some point. I can repair/fix just about anything on my own, so no worries if/when that time comes. This treadmill has some very unique features about it that makes it priceless for me, and worth any minor inconveniences if a part here or there breaks down. Planning on using this thing a lot for a very long time.

@@move1649 You use that thing located between your ears to fix problems in life. That thing is called a brain. Replacing the motor or control board on any treadmill is easy to do, especially with all the youtube videos out there that shows you how do it. There are no mechanical design flaws that I know of with the X22i that impairs the functionality of these machines.
Btw, I have had my X22i for almost 1.5 years now. Bought it in August of 2020 during the time that everybody was complaining about control board problems. To date, I still haven't had any issues with this machine, and I have put about 800 miles on it with over 400hrs of use. Super happy with this machine. And if/when something eventually breaks down on it, it's no problem getting that fixed. These are simple machines at the end of the day that consist of a belt, a couple rollers, a motor, a display, and control board. That's pretty much it. It's not rocket science;).

I really wanted to buy this treadmill (2022), but, I couldn’t because there are too many videos and posts online of problems people have with Nordictrack products and customer service. Subsequently I went with Sole who is know for making “quality” products. Nordictrack seems more a marketing company concerned with flashy advertising and their bottom line. After seeing so many videos like this, making quality products doesn’t seem a concern for nordictrack.

I am having exact same issue AFTER the 1st unit was delivered upside down 300 feet from my door blocking my driveway AND that replacement was missing a vital cushion between the platform and frame that prevents loud clanking. What a nightmare this is turning out to be.

I was going to give them (Nordic Track) another chance and buy a treadmill from them, NOT NOW!
I had a similar experience last year! The X22i that I ordered came in with a bent/twisted steel frame. I refused to allow the delivery men to bring it into my home. I called Nordic Track and stayed on hold for an hour! To shorten this story...it took Visa and the Better Business Bureau 2 months to get my money back, in payments of 3!

Sooo ... the 1 year warranty for "Labor" is the labor it takes to lift up the part , put it in a box, add postage and sending it off in the mail.
There are so many smooth talking reviews.
Also there's another NordicTrack Buyer Beware saying it has a 30 day money back guarantee ... BUT ... they don't pay the $500 to ship it back.

I did the same thing. At Home Depot I bought a plasma cutter and turn it on the light came on. Yet it did not work it was out of warranty I bought it new. I waited a year before I turn it on. So they would not fix it. So I took it all apart and started to look at the wires 3 of the wires were not hooked up. The cheap labourers that put it together did not hook up all the wires. so I hooked the wires up gave it to my son welding little business and it works fine. I had to spent like 4 hours to hook up the wires . Where do you think this thing is assembled, It's ether Mexico or China. Nothing is made in the Untied States thanks to are Gov. The wires were just laying to the side of the machine. they never tested it when manufactured. When i hooked the wires up I reinforced the wires connections' and put heavy duty zip ties on the wires so they would not burn when it got hot.

It’s such a shame that the machine isn’t built to last! Nordic Track sent these machines out with a faulty circuit board that will go out not long after purchasing. Oh, I should add, not long but long enough to be outside the return window. Mine went precisely 6 months after purchasing. The circuit board controls the belt, so when it goes out your stuck with a tv stand. Replacements are on back order due to high demand and I’ve read many customers end up with the same problem not long after replacing. I wish someone would have written about this when I was researching treadmills to buy. Please do some research of your own and steer clear of Nordic track brand treadmills!

For anyone looking for a treadmill, Peleton is coming out with a smaller treadmill that is about half of their Tread. I am not sure about any issues with the Tread, but if the bike is any indication, they have a following.

Wow, that does not sound like good customer service. I just got a Nordic Track treadmill and the experience has been pretty good so far. I hope that you got that taken care of, it is very hard to get above and beyond customer service these days. Wish me luck with mine

OK, this video was from 4 years ago and maybe I'm misunderstanding your situation Thomas but why didn't you just go directly to your credit card company, explain the situation, and requested your money back. I'm pretty sure they would give you a refund almost immediately and then get the money back from the institution to which the money was paid.
