I also have a 1998 k1200 RS and it has heated grips. How do you like your bike so far I just bought mine about 2 weeks ago and I'm replacing all the rubber brake lines with spiegler high performance ones.
Did you ever have any luck getting better gas mileage? I saw another video or a guy put a high performance muffler and he claimed he got about 4 to 5 more miles per gallon.
Surprisingly it doesn't have heated grips. Nice bike!
