Love, love, love. I love Chinoiserie, but I'm so scared to pull the trigger on wallpaper. I don't know how much to use..every room, every other room? Will they go well? Will it clash with curtains and rugs? I love your house and wish I was natural good at decorating. I know what I like, I just don't know how to make it happen in my house.

Research shows that there are gender biases in how people listen to women and men. People tend to listen to WHAT men say, meanwhile they tend to listen to HOW women say things. Instead of listening to the substance of what women are saying we are busy evaluating whether they happen to SOUND angry, annoying, air headed, bossy etc etc etc while they are talking. The internet is littered with commentary about how women sound when they are talking." She sounds shrill, grating, her voice is annoying, she's too high pitched, she sounds like (fill in the blank of stereotypical unattractive woman), she sounds like a dude" etc etc etc. These are all subtle ways we as a society micromanage and minimize women, particularly young women. It's a way of dismissing women and indicating they are not to be taken seriously.....without flat out saying it. In my opinion it's an insidious way of telling women to "shut up". Furthermore, It shifts the burden of responsibility onto women to conform to male-centric standards of speech versus challenging the listener to accept that different people sound and speak differently....and that's okay.

People can have a variety of opinions without people taking it the wrong way. Most people speak from behind their computers where all they have to do is watch a video instead of being in one. And I'm chilling with a wonderful drink enjoying all these videos!
I adore home it’s quite lovely. It took me the better part of a year to decide between La Cornue’s Almond Green and Pistachio Green. My Late Husband finally say, “You’ve got 24 hours, then I’m going to choose the color!” P.S. You showed the guestroom and your office daughter’s room... What happened to your Son’s room? Sorry, I had ask, I’m have sons and grandsons.

What a difference it has made! The boarder on your daughter's ceiling has given me an idea for my kitchen!!!!

Delightful cheerful home - I’m very pleased to see colour & personality that is evolves from room to room. ( I realize the aim for the master bedroom was less busy visual space but imho the plain bare wall when you first walk into the room was to me begging for a painting 🖼 or something uplifting of visual interest to break the expanse of plain grass cloth wall) A house evolves over time Im sure she will just the right item ! thank you for sharing your home it is inspiring 😍
I loved everything about this home, especially the stove and the dressing room. Great use of animal print in little spots, almost as a neutral. It works well with the grasscloth wallpaper. It really is a happy space!
