Honey I am a 58yr old gay man and I am very passionate about my music I listen to…! But lately I just put all their music on repeat! Amazing stuff ladies!
So this is eerily close to both where I'm at and where I've been in my life. Katie is a gem, that's for sure. Thank you for being vulnerable for all of us who are not there yet. It's honestly the most genuinely encouraging (and slightly scary) thing I have come across in this extremely weird time of my life where the question whether or not it is ever going to actually be okay has been popping up almost daily.
Reading these comments makes me so happy. This song invokes so many things in so many us. We are more alike than we are different, folks. What they did with this song is pure magic.
I really hope this becomes a single before the end of this albums cycle. I've never NEEDED a song before. But I did need this. The affirmation, this mantra of reminding yourself that life happens and you're okay still, it's so much. Not too much either, it's enough. And it's light. And I can't help but cry, and smile. Thank you to MUNA, for now, for before, for all of it. 💖😭💖
Best song on the new album. What a stunner. Incredible song writing. Emotional, mature. You girls could teach the more modern pop stars a thing or two about writing and composing a good song.
Listened to this a lot in December of 2019, while feeling trapped in a really bad living situating. Ended up having to stay there through quarantine after Covid happened which made the sense of entrapment even worse, thus I was just listening to this song constantly trying to stay hopeful. It was really hard to believe that things would be okay but I did, imagining my future self would one day look back and tell me so, the way that Katie tells her past self in the song. It wasn’t easy, but I eventually got through and can tell my past self that now. To anyone listening to this in a similar situation right now, I promise it’s gonna be okay ❤️
I m predicting this MUNA will be the super shinning star on music sky ..let's see how they aproched the listeners now aged in 40-50 who love the music of 80's --90's along with new young generation .God /Allah/Adios/Bhagwan what ever we called Him bless this band with His best of the Best .Ameen
This song has only been out for a few days but I can close my eyes and be completely away from wherever I am. I smile and sometimes I cry but it’s just what I needed; to tell myself it’s gonna be okay.
You know, my heart is aching so much because of people I know. I'm very vulnerable when i start feeling something for someone, to the point I tend to feel guilty for overreacting. Even if that's something I'm changing eventually, I still need to hear Katie's voice saying that "everything's gonna be okay". Because, somehow, I know it's true.
It truly is. I went to their concert in 2018 or 2019 with a friend and they were so good! First heard about them cause they were the opening act for Harry Styles’ first solo album tour.
Wait, you guys? Did Katie reveal that she's in love with one of the girls? She says: "You're gonna fall in love with a girl, which you were not expecting. You're gonna start a band. It's just HER, another friend, and you." Maybe I'm reaching, but those two verses are making me question EVERYTHING! I can't believe I've known about this song for hours, and I'm just now speculating that! WTF??
This is such a good song and a great closer for the album! Is this about Katie’s life? She said she fell in love with a girl and started a band with her. Who is she referring to?
The Music here is quite similar to Winter break . It seems to be a pop recitative of some sort . Winter break is also but is more melancholy and uses thick harmony in unusual spots. They are Not the same but very close to it .
Adam Callaghan, I’m a fan of theirs too. Luckily I got to see them both live last year 2019. ☺️ it was a dream come true. 1975 I went alone after a friend had to cancel last minute. Then with MUNA a friend went with me and we had fun, a good time.
It's a style choice. They don't need autotune, but the flicker is rather pretty used intentionally. It was the thing to do for a while, but not the staple of their style.
Wow, all these songs are very emotion invoking. They seem like they come from a more personal place. I love this album already.

The bass line with the high harmonies is just epic.

Ryan Harju, beautiful sentiment.
this album is the best thing that's happened to me in a hot minute, can't can't wait for Chicago
Possibly the best closing song to an album ever.
This is powerful. I can't believe I'm crying this much. I love you guys.

Whenever I sit and cry to myself lately, have got this song stuck in my head and it’s super helpful and hopeful. Thanks MUNA. 🙏🏼

felix navarro yep, i think she’s singing about josette 😬
@@KimchiBitz93 Me, too;)
For a moment I thought I was the only one who's believed that. Great song... Too much meanings
She dated Naomi (the one with curly hair )
@@briannawagner3364 Really? Wow!

So specific but so relatable to me at least 😭😭😭
Thank you...
Well, this is a perfect pop song.
Wow!
wait this is good 😳
why does it reminds me of winterbreak and i know a place the intro.

Brilliant song. Does anyone else think this is the girls talking about their younger selves?
Craig A it’s about katie gavin’s life story actually
Suraj Arvind ah I thought it might be!
Love your sound. Hope 1975 collabs with yall.
