I don't think this lady has a clue! About just how good she is! Kim Collingsworth is a master at the keyboard. She plays with so much feeling that it is a true joy listening to those gorgeous sounds that she produces from the piano. Her interpretations of those beautiful, old traditional hymns is unparalleled. I could listen to her playing 24/7. (She might get a little tired, though. Lol) Suffice it to say that she is an excellent pianist, who plays with amazing perfection!

Wow! Rather than hearing a congregational song leading pianist, I am hearing a piano soloist who can clearly put the melody atop the artistic underlying accompaniment. I can tell she is simultaneously worshipping our Lord and Savior!!
Having been raised by a piano teacher and grown up always having *somebody* in the house tinkering around on the piano; these raw segments are extra golden and warm my heart. Added to that, the fact, Kim, that you obviously can’t keep from singing along with yourself... 😂 the genuineness and obvious love you’ve got for these hymns is contagious and oh so encouraging!! I could listen to Kim play all day. I miss playing the piano. I havent played one in about 4 years. I see she was doing one of my habits. I too, have a tendency of using the soft pedal a lot. I know alot of pianists that never use it.
I have always enjoyed listening to her play as a solo and accompanying the family. As a starting pianist I would love if it was possible for you guys if you could have an over head camera so that we see what she is doing.(Humblest request) I am also looking for a piano tutorial videos, with her experience she could share alot to starting gospel pianist.
In The Garden is my most favorite of those played today.........it makes me think of my Dad who passed away on August 2nd (sadly that was also my birthday! :( ) Dad used to sing this song in church a lot, but I can remember as a child whenever we'd travel, we would sing hymns and my Daddy would harmonize and it would give me goose bumps. Whenever I hear In the Garden, I think of him and that memory and it always makes me cry.......my son-in-law sang this for Dad's memorial service.....he did a beautiful job and I know Dad was smiling!!!! I miss my Dad so much, but I know he is with Jesus and I will one day see him again! Praise the Lord!!!!
